Abstract

This study discusses the decision of French tourists on their planned visit to Bali in the new normal era in 2021. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data was obtained by means of online interviews and questions and answers via email to 35 potential tourists. Based on the results of research that has been done, it was found that two decisions of French tourists regarding their vacation plans to Bali, namely: (1) Cancellation of tour trips with the consideration of (a) changes in tourist budgets and financial plans, (b) health reasons for tourists, (c) difficulty in managing time, and (d) the uncertainty of the global situation. (2) Delay or reschedule Tour trips. The factors that influence tourists to continue their travel agenda to Bali with a note of rescheduling, namely: (a) Advances that have been paid to travel agents, (b) the need for post-lockdown holidays during 2020, and ( c) vaccination as an effort to protect the tourists from Covid-19. The hope is that the exposure of the research results can be a reference for researchers, tourism service business actors, and tourists to work together to implement health protocols in all tourism activities for a better Indonesian tourism. Abstract

This study discusses the factors that influence French tourists to visit Bali. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The research data was obtained by observing, documenting and interviewing 48 French tourists who used the services of a travel agent during their vacation in Bali in 2019. To test the validity of the data, researchers used triangulation of techniques and sources. Then data analysis through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data display and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of research that has been conducted, it is found that there are 10 (ten) factors that influence French tourists to visit Bali; those are: (1) the beauty of the nature, (2) the hospitality of the Balinese people, (3) the rich history, local culture and traditions, (4) the competitive prices, (5) beaches and activities, (6) the traditional cuisine of Bali, (7) the convenience during vacation, (8) meditation and yoga facilities, (9) the availability of Francophone guide, and (10) the existence of Francophone community. The results of this study are expected to provide a strategic plan map for the development of tourism especially in Bali and in Indonesia in general.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengulas tentang penggunaan campur kode dalam judul artikel majalah elektronik Pesona. Majalah ini didedikasikan untuk para wisatawan yang ingin mengetahui lebih jauh tentang budaya dan destinasi Indonesia. Sasaran majalah ini adalah wisatawan domestik dan mancanegara. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi bentuk dan jenis campur kode pada headline artikel majalah pesona dan faktor penyebab munculnya campur kode.. Data menunjukkan bahwa penulisan judul aertikel pada majalah tersebut menggunakan campur kode. Ada dua jenis campur kode yang ditemukan. Jenis pertama adalah penyisipan berupa kata (nomina, verba, adjektiva) dan frase (nomina frase, verba, adjektiva). Ada dua faktor penyebab terjadinya campur kode, yaitu intralinguistik dan ekstralinguistik. Dalam faktor intralinguistik, campur kode dulu memiliki makna yang tepat sesuai konteks. Namun, faktor ekstralinguistik menunjukkan pengaruh Bahasa Inggris dalam Bahasa Indonesia sangat banyak. Penggunaan campur kode pada judul artikel bertujuan untuk menarik perhatian wisatawan dan memperkenalkan pariwisata Indonesia di kancah global.

Abstract

Expression Française (French expression) is an expression that is often used in tour guiding to create effective communication, as well as to show the tour guide's ability to speak French. This study aims to analyze the forms and meanings of the Expression Française found in overland trip. This research is a qualitative descriptive study through interview and direct observation, then the data is analyzed using the triangulation method. The results of this research shows that there are 14 forms of Expression Française which are fixed and in the courant and familier languages register. There are two types of meaning found in the Expression Française; opaque and transparent.

Abstract

The study aimed to describe the similarities and differences of French and English verbs for designing for French learning models for beginners. This reseach is a qualitative descriptive study, the data were collected using observational method by taking notes directly from the data sources, and data were analyzed using distributional method. The result shows the similarity of French and English verbs as known from their verb formations by using the process of conjugation. French and English verbs are different where French is fully inflected while English is partially inflected. French verbs are influenced by person and number while English verbs are not influenced by person dan number. Past marker in French is auxiliary (être and avoir) followed by participe passé. The verb with auxiliare être will undergo a process of affixation with the addition of suffixes -e, -s, -es on the participe passé (core verb). Past marker in English is suffixe –ed/-d for regular verbs while irregular verbs will undergo changes based on the certain rules.

Abstract

Ekonomi merupakan kebutuhan setiap individu untuk menopang hidup. Upaya peningkatan perekonomian masyarakat telah meningkat dengan bantuan pemberdayaan wisata dan UMKM yang terlatih. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan potensi wisata dan memperkuat UMKM lokal di Kalurahan Pucung, Kapanewon Girisubo, Kabupaten Gunungkidul. Kegiatan difokuskan pada Pantai Srakung, yang memiliki potensi besar sebagai destinasi wisata, namun kurang didukung fasilitas dan strategi pemasaran yang efektif. Tim pengabdi dari tiga perguruan tinggi di Yogyakarta, yaitu Universitas Teknologi Digital Indonesia, Universitas AKPRIND Indonesia, dan Institut Pariwisata Ambarukmo. Peserta dalam kegiatan ini adalah masyarakat desa setempat yang terdiri dari tim pengelola pantai Srakung berjumlah 10 dan juga 6 pegawai yang bekerja di UMKM Mbok Ratu. Hasil pada kegiatan pengabdian ini telah dilakukan perbaikan fasilitas wisata dengan memasang baliho ikon pantai, membuat spot foto, menyediakan tempat duduk dan tempat berteduh bagi pengunjung, serta memasang petunjuk arah. Selain itu, pengabdian dilakukan terhadap UMKM Mbok Ratu yang memproduksi makanan ringan berbasis hasil pertanian lokal. Tim memberikan pelatihan pengelolaan usaha, bantuan alat produksi, pengembangan kemasan, dan pembuatan website untuk memperluas pasar. Evaluasi hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan daya tarik Pantai Srakung sebagai destinasi wisata, serta peningkatan kapasitas UMKM dalam hal produksi dan pemasaran produk. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan dampak positif dalam pengembangan ekonomi lokal dan peningkatan jumlah wisatawan ke Pantai Srakung.
