Abstract

MTs Sultan Agung Kalipoh in Kebumen Regency is one of the junior high schools that established a content creator community since 2021. However, despite having computer laboratory facilities, those students primarily relied on smartphone applications indicating basic graphic design knowledge level within their community. Therefore, it is necessary to enhance their creativity and computer-based graphic design skills through learning how to design logo using CorelDraw and Photoshop in form of case study. The community service program was conducted in four (4) phases: analysis of situation, formulation of possible solutions, logo creation training, and evaluation. The results showed a notable 59% increase in logo creation experience indicating of the enhanced creativity in graphic skills. Moreover, there was an 80% improvement in knowledge regarding graphic application functions, and a 75% improvement in the ability to create logos.

Abstract

Cilacap region earthquakes often occur with more than 5 Richter Scale. With these seismic conditions, earthquake studies in the Cilacap region will always be needed. These studies usually only have output in form of map visualization spatially, however, they have not been compiled in a time series. This study attempts to include visualization of spatial data in the form of a time-series. The data visualization was presented in form of graphs and maps. Graphical visualization using line bar graph type by applying descriptive statistics tries to determine the earthquake’s magnitude fluctuation. The other visualization in form of Heatmap map analysis applying the Kernel Density method is interpolated earthquake magnitude spatial data. The data used in this research was retrieved from the USGS datasets between 1918 to 2021. The spatial boundaries were taken from -7.324 ˚S, 107.941˚E to -10.407˚S, 111.116˚E. The results of spatial data visualization using the heatmap techniques were then analyzed temporally using the Temporal function in the QGIS software. The results of temporal analysis within a year are then sequenced into a video which is displayed on the following link https://youtu.be/m3B7HkfI8qY. The descriptive statistical analysis shows that Earthquakes have magnitudes ranging from 3.3 to 7.58 with a mean of 4.58 and a mode of 4.4. Heatmap analysis shows the results of earthquake magnitude interpolation with high density, located in the south of Cilacap and south of Yogyakarta. Also, the spatiotemporal analysis results show that there is a change in location trends that have high earthquake magnitude density values

Abstract

A good user interface design on a website will make users feel at home using the website. On the contrary, a bad user interface will make users quickly leave the site or bounce rate. User involvement in the system development process will have a positive and significant impact on satisfaction with a system. The objective of this study is to obtain a new user interface that can overcome the usability problems in the web design of the Cilacap Entrance. To meet user needs, this study uses the human centered design (HCD) method for web redesign. User identification and interviews were conducted to obtain user context data. While user personas are used to determine user needs. In addition, A/B testing was used by applying the results of heatmap analysis and data from Google Analytics and Google Web Console to compare the results before and after the interface redesign. The results showed an increase in the number of users, longer visits, more content exploration, and high activity on the site. This means that the redesigned interface was successful in improving user experience, increasing user activity, and maintaining user interest in the Cilacap Entrance website.

Abstract

Helmets are used to anticipate serious injuries when traffic accidents occur. In several cities and villages, various helmet businesses have begun to emerge. The increasing number of residents and motorized vehicles in Indonesia provides business opportunities in the helmet business. The increasingly competitive business market challenges companies to be able to adapt to changing market conditions and diverse buyer needs. For this reason, companies must be able to respond quickly and accurately, consider the costs incurred to remain conducive, and have a strategy in decision-making that can provide solutions to changes in the current market situation to survive in the long term. Therefore, companies must be able to respond quickly and accurately, consider the costs incurred to remain conducive, and have a strategy in decision-making so that companies can survive in the long term. The implementation of business intelligence in this study uses the Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) method, namely the use of Extraction Transformation Loading (ETL), creating a data warehouse, analyzing data for users and user interfaces in the form of information visualization using the Laravel framework. Planet Helm currently needs to manage its sales data visualization digitally. This is an obstacle for leaders in managing inventory needs, and helmet sales are less effective and efficient, requiring the digitalization of web-based business intelligence management. The results of this study are in the form of a dashboard display consisting of a minimum of 7 stock widgets, average monthly sales, popular brand graphs, and monthly sales graphs.
