Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Classical Cooperative Learning model in the study of Kitab Kuning at Pondok Pesantren Miftahul Ulum, Lumajang, using an input-process-output evaluation approach. The research method employed is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and document analysis. The Classical Cooperative Learning model at this pesantren consists of four stages: material explanation, group learning, assessment, and team recognition. The results indicate that the Classical Cooperative Learning model is effective in enhancing students' understanding of Kitab Kuning. The material explanation stage helps students comprehend complex vocabulary and language structures. The group learning stage facilitates active interaction and cooperation among students, which improves collective understanding. Assessment through tests and quizzes comprehensively measures individual and group progress. The team recognition stage provides additional motivation for students by rewarding group achievements. The implications of this study suggest that the Classical Cooperative Learning model can be applied as an effective method for Kitab Kuning learning in other pesantren. With its structured and group cooperation-based approach, this model not only enhances academic achievement but also social skills and student motivation.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze and find: 1) How pesantren explore sources of agribusiness-based financing. 2) allocation and distribution of agribusiness-based pesantren financing. 3) Financing planning for agribusiness-based pesantren at Mifatahul Ulum Islamic Boarding School, Bangsalsari and At-Tanwir Islamic Boarding School Ledokombo Kab. Jember. 4) Implementation of agribusiness-based Islamic boarding school financing at Mifatahul Ulum Islamic Boarding School Bangsalsari and At-Tanwir Islamic Boarding School Ledokombo Kab. Jember. 5) Evaluation of agribusiness-based pesantren financing at Mifatahul Ulum Islamic Boarding School, Bangsalsari and At-Tanwir Ledokombo Islamic Boarding School, Jember Regency. These focuses were investigated using the approach to the theory of Financing Management proposed by Thomas H. Jones and several other relevant theories. This study uses a qualitative research approach through a phenomenological model with a multi-site design. Data collection techniques were carried out by non-participant observation, interviews, and documentation. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using several steps, namely: data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The findings of this study are: 1) The source of financing for Islamic boarding schools is done by managing coffee fields. 2) Allocation and distribution are used to finance the needs of pesantren based on unit cost and based on the type and priority of needs in accordance with eight national education standards. 3) Islamic boarding school financing planning is carried out in a transparent manner, proportional to the components that are related to the pesantren, such as alumni, students, and the community. 4) The implementation of pesantren financing is carried out by building trust between pesantren and pesantren stakeholders. Instilling the value of struggle and caring for pesantren stakeholders by empowering and involving them in every activity. Dividing work according to ability and regulated by written procedures. 5) Evaluation of pesantren financing is carried out seriously for the success of the activities planned with stakeholders and the community. Evaluation is done creatively and anticipating everything that could happen in the future. Evaluation is carried out on a regular basis involving pesantren stakeholders. Evaluation is carried out in a family atmosphere. The results of the evaluation are carried out as soon as possible with follow-up activities. Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of coffee boarding school education in forming the entrepreneurial spirit of students at the At-Tanwir Islamic Boarding School. Therefore, this research uses a qualitative method with a case study type of research. The results of this research show that the At-Tanwir Islamic Boarding School has implemented the Coffee Islamic Boarding School Education in forming the entrepreneurial spirit of students. This coffee boarding school education is applied to students who have graduated from vocational high schools (SMK). This coffee boarding school education can change their mindset so that they no longer choose to work overseas, but they can develop the talents they have gained in this coffee boarding school education to become entrepreneurs. This education is carried out twice a week, namely on Sundays and Thursdays.

Abstract

This article examines the application of Qur'anic principles in Islamic education supervision to improve the quality of education. Using a qualitative approach and conceptual analysis, this study focuses on identifying Qur'anic principles relevant to educational supervision, namely mas’ūliyyah (responsibility), amānah (trust), iḥsān (continuous improvement), syūrā (deliberation and collaboration), and taqwīm (evaluation). The literature selection process was based on the criteria of relevance, validity, credibility, and novelty of the sources. Data were collected through identification, selection, and review of relevant literature, followed by qualitative descriptive analysis through stages of Identification of Qur'anic Verses, Interpretation of Verses, Contextual Analysis, and Thematic Synthesis. The results show that these Qur'anic principles have both relevance and practical application in the context of Islamic education, in terms of both moral development and the enhancement of teacher competencies. Implementing these Qur'anic principles in educational supervision improves academic performance and fosters an academic culture based on moral and spiritual values. This study also demonstrates that synthesizing Qur'anic principles with modern educational theories contributes to the development of a transformative and collaborative supervision model aimed at enhancing educational quality.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the optimization of the independent learning curriculum in the Qur'an and Hadith lessons at MTs Nurul Ali. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative using observation and interview methods. Data analysis consists of three stages, namely the data reduction stage by correcting and describing the results of the interview. This research was conducted at MTs Nurul Ali in class VIII which consists of 4 classes. The subjects of the study were teachers of the Qur'an and Hadith lessons. From the results found that Madrasah Tsanawiyah Nurul Ali Sumberbulus as one of the piloting of the Independent Curriculum for the Jember district area, where the method used in the Independent Curriculum learning process, one of which uses a project-based learning method. This method is called Problem Based Learning (PBL) to further improve critical thinking skills, foster student initiative in working, motivate and develop interpersonal relationships in groups. However, in the Al-Qur'an and Hadith lessons, the material still uses K-13 material. The factors are because teachers do not have experience with independent learning, limited time management references, differences in learning access, and minimal skills. So it can be said that the optimization of the independent curriculum at MTs Nurul Ali in the Al-Qur'an Hadith lessons has not been fully optimized.

Abstract

Amanah Undang-Undang No. 20 Tahun 2003 tentang Sistem Pendidikan Nasional, Ujian Nasional (UN) bertujuan untuk mengukur pencapaian kompetensi lulusan pada mata pelajaran tertentu secara nasional. Oleh sebab itu, sistem pendidikan nasional didorong untuk membangun pola pendidikan yang mementingkan kemampuan kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor. Namun faktanya, pendidikan nasional belum menghasilkan lulusan berkualitas tinggi, kecuali mereka yang mau berjibaku dalam mencerdaskan dan mencerahkan dirinya sendiri. UN hanya mendorong sistem pendidikan nasional mandul dan tumpul untuk mengasah kepekaan siswa pada nilai terutama nilai agama. Dengan demikian, perlu secara konsisten untuk melakukan pembenahan, penataan, dan peningkatan sistem pendidikan nasional secara makro yang tidak hanya mengembangkan satu dimensi (kognitif an sich). Abstract

Madrasah Aliyah merupakan lembaga Pendidikan memiliki kekhususan dalam ide dan aplikasi untuk memanifestasikan nilai-nilai Islam yang diwujudkan dalam visi, misi, tujuan, maupun program pendidikan. Lulusan Madrasah Aliyah diharapkan tidak ketinggalan pada era revolusi industri 4.0 yang menekankan pada pola digital economy, artificial intelligence, big data, robotic, atau dikenal dengan fenomena disruptive innovation. Lulusan Madrasah Aliyah unggulan disiapkan menjadi kader atau sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas serta memiliki daya saing yang tinggi. Desain kurikulum merupakan bagian inti dari pendidikan yang harus memiliki pedoman dan tujuan yang tepat sesuai dengan kondisi sosial budaya masyarakat dan mengikuti perkembangan zaman seperti era revolusi industry 4.0 saat ini.

Abstract

The curriculum is one of the tools to achieve educational goals, and at the same time it is used as a guide in the implementation of the teaching and learning process at various types and levels of schools. The curriculum is the basis and mirror of the philosophy of a nation's view of life, it will be directed to where and how the life of this nation will be in the future, all of which are determined and described in an educational curriculum. The curriculum must be dynamic and continue to evolve to adapt to various developments that occur in the world community and must determine the results as expected. All aspects of education are then in the spotlight of all Indonesian people. The education aspect in question is the teacher, curriculum, objectives, and methods, the government as the person in charge, and of course the system that covers the educational activities. All these aspects are like links which must be addressed first.
