Abstract

This study aims to describe the economic empowerment of the Women Farmers Group (KWT) Kemiri Edum in Purwobinangun Village, Sleman, and to identify its impact on group members using the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The sample consisted of informants determined by a census, including the KWT leader, members, and agricultural extension officers. The empowerment process was analyzed based on the five stages of the ABCD approach, namely discovery (exploration of local assets in the form of salak pondoh and women’s social capital), dream (building a collective vision for increasing the added value of salak), design (preparation of institutional structures and division of labor), define (implementation of operational activities and regular evaluations), and destiny (continuity of production, product innovation, and external support from the government and financial institutions). The impact of empowerment is seen from the increase in members’ income, with an average of Rp.1,525,000 per month and SHU distribution of Rp.2,000,000 every before Eid. This condition also changes the family’s economic structure from previously relying only on the husband’s income to dual-income (husband and wife). This income helps fulfill household needs such as consumption, education, and health, while strengthening the family’s economic independence. In addition, the KWT institution developed into the KWT Madya category through the implementation of the five ABCD stages, active member participation, and broad partnerships, thereby strengthening the role of women in sustainable village economic development.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a business plan for a Shared Production House as part of the implementation of the Desa Preneur program to optimize shallot processing in Srigading Village, Kapanewon Sanden, Bantul Regency. The research was conducted from January 2025 to December 2025 using a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques such as interviews, observation, documentation, and literature study. Data analysis used the Business Model Canvas (BMC) framework to map nine elements of the business model, namely customer segments, value propositions, distribution channels, customer relationships, revenue streams, key resources, key activities, key partners, and cost structure. The results and conclusions of the study show that the Joint Production House is still in the planning stage, so a focused operational strategy is needed to support the development of businesses based on local potential. The main challenges include limited production facilities, product legality, human resource capabilities, and suboptimal marketing strategies. However, there are great opportunities in the form of abundant raw materials, increasing consumption trends for fried onions, government support, digital marketing potential, and partnership opportunities with the business sector and certification agencies. In conclusion, the five-year revenue and operational cost projections show a positive growth trend, with revenue in the fifth year estimated to reach IDR 30,479,905,805. Therefore, structured material and cost planning is needed to ensure that the Joint Production House can operate efficiently, sustainably, and competitively.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of service quality delivered through customer communities as a digital marketing strategy on consumer satisfaction at Sasayur MSMEs in Yogyakarta. The background of this research is based on the increasing use of digital technology and social media as marketing media, which enables MSMEs to build active and responsive customer communities that play a role in improving service quality. The study employs a mixed-method sequential explanatory approach, in which quantitative data are collected and analyzed in the first stage, followed by qualitative data to strengthen the findings. The research sample consists of 100 respondents who are members of the Sasayur customer community. Data analysis techniques include SEM-PLS to assess the relationships among variables, while the effectiveness of the community is measured using a percentage formula. The results indicate that service quality has a positive effect on consumer satisfaction, and customer communities as a digital marketing strategy also contribute to enhancing consumer interaction, convenience, and trust. Customer communities are proven to be effective as a medium for communication, information dissemination, and complaint resolution. Furthermore, the effectiveness analysis shows that the Sasayur customer community falls into the effective category, indicating its ability to support improvements in service quality and consumer satisfaction. This study implies that MSMEs need to optimize digital communities to maintain service consistency, build closer relationships with consumers, and increase customer loyalty. Abstract

This study aims to analyze energy consumption levels, the share of food expenditure, and food security among cassava-farming households in Ngawen Village, Cluwak District, Pati Regency. The research method employed descriptive analysis, utilizing data collection techniques that included interviews, literature studies, observation, and documentation. Sampling through saturated sampling, namely all members of the Sido Rukun farming group who received fertilizer assistance of more than 2,000 kg, resulted in 35 respondents. Data analysis was carried out by calculating household income, household expenditure, energy sufficiency rate, share of food expenditure, and the degree of food security. The results showed that the average energy and protein consumption of cassava farming households did not meet the AKG standards set by the National Food and Nutrition Workshop. As many as 60% of households had an energy consumption level of less than 80% of the required amount, indicating an imbalance in access to food and energy. In addition, the share of food expenditure was relatively high, which has an impact on household food security, being relatively low. keyword: Energy Adequacy; Food Security; Food Expenditure Share; Households
