Abstract

ABSTRAKKawasan wisata kuliner di sekitar Pantai Losari Makassar merupakan sentra wisata kuliner khas Kota Makassar yang didominasi oleh pedagang kaki lima. Namun, kegiatan di kawasan wisata kuliner tersebut belum berjalan dengan baik dikarenakan pengembangan dan penataan kawasan wisata kuliner yang belum optimal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk merumuskan strategi dan perencanaan yang tepat dalam pengembangan kawasan wisata kuliner di sekitar Pantai Losari Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode wawancara dan kuesioner kepada informan. Strategi pengembangan kawasan wisata kuliner di sekitar Pantai Losari Makassar dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi faktor kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang dan ancaman melalui analisis SWOT. Hasil analisis strategi pengembangan kawasan wisata kuliner di sekitar Pantai Losari Makassar adalah menjadikan kawasan wisata kuliner di sekitar Pantai Losari Makassar sebagai destinasi wisata kuliner unggulan dengan aksesibilitas yang mudah dengan mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan teknologi dan berbagai media dalam memberikan informasi serta promosi kawasan wisata kuliner, kerjasama dengan pihak lain dalam pengembangan daya tarik kawasan wisata kuliner di sekitar Pantai Losari Makassar, serta pengembangan kapasitas SDM pengelola kawasan wisata kuliner.Kata kunci: Strategi, Pengembangan, Kawasan, Wisata Kuliner, SWOTABSTRACTThe culinary tourism area around Losari Beach is a typical culinary tourism center of Makassar City which is dominated by street vendors. However, activities in the culinary tourism area have not gone well because the development and arrangement of the culinary tourism area have not been optimal. The purpose of this research is to formulate the right strategy for the development of a culinary tourism area around Losari Beach. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with interviews and questionnaires to informants. The strategy for developing a culinary tourism area around Losari Beach is carried out by identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats through a SWOT analysis. The results of the analysis of the strategy for developing a culinary tourism area around Losari Beach are to make the culinary tourism area a leading culinary tourism destination with easy accessibility by optimizing the use of technology and various media in providing information and promotion of culinary tourism area, in collaboration with other stakeholders. Besides that, it develops the attractiveness of culinary tourism areas around Losari Makassar Beach and the capacity of human resources to manage culinary tourism areas.Keywords: Strategy, Development, Area, Culinary Tour, SWOT

Abstract

In smallholder cacao plantations, the protective crops used varied, so they have different effects on splash erosion. The management of land cover with a canopy of cacao and shade trees on cacao fields, aims to control of splash erosion. This study was conducted by directly measuring the magnitude of splash erosion under several levels of canopy cover. The magnitude of splash erosion was determined by measuring the depth of the eroded soil using the bottle cap method. The measurements were carried out every rain event (46 rain events with rainfall varied from 0.28 to 97.04 mm). The canopy cover level was determined by analyzing the images taken using a digital camera. The images were processed by Matlab software with closure approach. The data were analyzed by regression analysis to determine the relationship between canopy cover level and the depth of splash erosion that occurred. The results showed that the level of canopy cover influence the depth of splash erosion. In addition, this study indicates that the level of splash erosion not only influenced by the level of closure and rainfall, but also strongly influenced by the size of the leaf cover. Keywords: Cacao plantation, Canopy cover, Regression analysis, Splash erosion.
