Abstract

The development of manual loom industry at Cawas Sub-District of influence on the development of economic means. The emergence of new economic means causes the difference of characters in each center industry which would also affect the spatial characteristics of the economic means. The problem in this research is how the impact of the development of  manual loom  industry center characteristics at Cawas Sub-District on the spatial characteristics of the economic means. The analysis method used in this research is to conduct field observations, interviews or distributing questionnaires and analyzes the quantitative descriptive analysis. From the overall analysis we concluded that the characteristics of the nabual loom industry center and spatial characteristics of the economic means growing every year resulting in increasingly broad range of services reaches beyond Java and abroad. Keywords:economic means, impact, manual loom industry center

Abstract

Accordingly increasing of street vendors especially in Surakarta, City Goverment of Surakarta have been taking policy to relocated street vendors to market. Panggungrejo market serve as a place to relocated street vendors that selling on Ki Hajar Dewantara street. It is taken for maintain the beauty and neatness of city, furthermore to maintaining the continuity of street vendors selling. There are many thing that be supposed in relocated street vendors to market, one of which is a factor of location choice because it will affect the market crowd. Altought the location of Panggungrejo market close to the initial location of street vendors and they’re selling almost the same kind of wares, but the market conditions are very quiet and merchants complained of a decrease in turnover, so they chose to sell elsewhere. The question in this research is how the site selection factors influence the effectiveness Panggungrejo Market. The method in this research is deductive-quantitative. The analysis used in this study consisted of descriptive analysis is descriptive narrative and descriptive eksplanatif, as well as multiple regression statistical analysis. Results from this research that despite support for the crowded market place, but the condition of Panggungrejo market is still not effective. There are only three of the nine site selection factors that influence the inefficiencies of Panggungrejo market that are competitors, visibility and market facilities. Therefore, ineffectiveness of Panggungrejo market may also be influenced by other factors. Keywords: Market, Relocation, Effectiveness, Site Selection Factors

Abstract

Uncontrolled and inconsistent urban growth trigger the growth of new, non-interconnected distribution centers (sprawl). The problem that came later was the emergence of congestion problems affecting the economic, social and environmental sectors. TOD concept as an alternative solution to these problems by integrating transport and spatial development in the surrounding area transit stations. Surakarta is one of the cities that implement the concept of TOD at its transit station considering the role of Surakarta City as the National Activity Center (NAC) which makes itself as its hinterland destination. Implementation of the concept is evident from the development of the Bus Rapid Transit transportation system under the name BST (Batik Solo Trans) which has three corridors of travel route to date. The purpose of this study is to assess the suitability of regional transit stations that pass through the three routes to the concept of TOD. The research technique  used is quantitative technique  by using scoring analysis method. The results of the research mentioned that the transit district of Solopurwoari, Solobalapan and Solojebres included in the inappropriate closer classification to the concept of TOD. It is due to the three transit areas have not fulfilled the concept of sixth principle tod, including density, mixed-uses, pedestrian and cyclist friendly and parking. Therefore, transit planning is required to accommodate these six principles.

Abstract

Pembangunan Trayek Kereta Api Akses Bandara Adi Soemarmo dan Kota Surakarta adalah salah satu program Kementerian Perhubungan RI untuk memberikan suatu moda transportasi umum menuju ke Bandara Lokal, yaitu Bandara Adi Soemarmo yang didasarkan pada RIPNAS 2030 Kementerian Perhubungan RI, RTRW Kota Surakarta 2011 – 2031 serta RTRW Kabupaten Boyolali 2011 – 2031. Salah satu Prasarana Kereta Api yang akan melayani trayek Kereta Api Bandara ini adalah Stasiun Solo Balapan Kota Surakarta. Penelitian ini membahas kesiapan aksesibilitas Stasiun Solo Balapan yang akan melayani trayek Kereta Bandara. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer berupa observasi lapangan serta data sekunder. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah metode analisis skoring. Aksesibilitas dari Stasiun Solo Balapan menuju kawasan pusat kota Surakarta kurang baik karena harus menggunakan satu jenis moda transportasi umum untuk mengaksesnya dari kawasan pusat kota. Aksesibilitas pengunjung dari Stasiun Solo Balapan menuju ke tempat lain kurang baik karena stasiun tidak terintegrasi dengan jaringan pedestrian kota Surakarta. Berdasarkan hal -hal tersebut, kesiapan aksesibilitas Stasiun Solo Balapan dalam melayani Trayek Kereta Api Akses Bandara termasuk dalam kategori siap bersyarat.
