Abstract

ABSTRACT This research was conducted in one of the elementary schools located in the city of Serang, namely SDN Sempu 2, precisely in class IV. This study uses a quantitative method with the type of action, the type of action is carried out to find out and practice directly related to the problems that occur. Based on the results of interviews and observations that the problem experienced by grade IV students is the low multiplication ability of students. Therefore, the researcher took actions that would help students in calculating multiplication. The solution used by the researcher is the use of the Jarimatika technique, the Jarimatika technique is a counting technique that uses the fingers and finger joints, and counting with the Jarimatika also becomes faster. Based on the results of the actions taken by researchers, the use of the Jarimatika technique in calculating multiplication is considered successful in helping students in counting. Judging from the results of tests carried out by students that they are able to count using finger movements. The results of the tests they carried out were also above the KKM which was the reason for the successful use of the Jarimatika technique. Keywords: Counting, Multiplication, Jarimatika technique ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan di salah satu SD yang terletak di Kota Serang, yaitu SDN Sempu 2 tepatnya pada kelas IV. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuatitatif dengan jenis tindakan, Jenis Tindakan dilakukan untuk mengetahui dan mempraktikkan langsung terkait permasalahan yang terjadi. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dan observasi bahwa masalah yang dialami oleh siswa kelas IV adalah kemampuan berhitung perkalian siswa yang rendah. Oleh karena itu, peneliti melakukan tindakan yang akan membantu siswa dalam menghitung perkalian. Solusi yang digunakan peneliti yaitu penggunaan teknik jarimatika, Teknik Jarimatika merupakan Teknik berhitung yang menggunakan jari dan ruas-ruas jari, dan menghitung dengan jarimatika juga menjadi lebih cepat. Berdasarkan hasil Tindakan yang dilakukan peneliti bahwa dengan penggunaan Teknik jarimatika dalam menghitung perkalian dianggap berhasil membantu siswa dalam menghitung. Dilihat dari hasil tes yang dikerjakan oleh siswa bahwa mereka sudah mampu menghitung menggunakan Gerakan-gerakan jarinya. Hasil dari tes yang mereka kerjakan juga diatas KKM yang menjadi alasan keberhasilan penggunaan Teknik jarimatika. Kata kunci: Menghitung, Perkalian, Teknik jarimatika

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was to increase students' literacy interest andstudents' reading comprehension through the development of android magazineteaching materials on the ADIKSIMBA material for grade 4 Indonesian. Theresearch method used was R&D with the borg and gall model. Analysis of researchdata using the Likert and Guttman scales. The research subjects were taken from4th grade students at SDN Purut City of Serang. The results of the validationpercentage recapitulation research by getting a value of 84.5% means that thisteaching material is categorized as a very good teaching material and is veryfeasible to be tested on students and the initial test obtained an average score of57.5 and in the final test obtained an average score 83 concluded that the use ofteaching materials for this magazine can improve students' understanding ofinterrogative sentences using the ADIKSIMBA element. ABSTRAKTujuan pada penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan minat berliterasi siswa danpemahaman membaca siswa melalui pengembangan bahan ajar majalah androidpada materi ADIKSIMBA mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas 4. Metodepenelitian yang digunakan adalah R&D dengan jenis model borg and gall. Analisisdata penelitian menggunakan skala likert dan guttman. Subjek penelitian diambildari siswa kelas 4 SDN Purut Kota Serang. Hasil penelitian rekapitulasi persentasivalidasi dengan mendapatkan nilai 84,5% artinya bahan ajar ini dikategorikansebagai bahan ajar yang sangat baik dan sangat layak untuk diujicobakan kepadasiswa dan tes awal didapatkan rata-rata nilai 57,5 dan pada tes akhir didapatkanrata-rata nilai 83 disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan bahan ajar majalah ini dapatmeningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang kalimat tanya menggunakan unsurADIKSIMBA.

Abstract

Reading skill is an aspect that exists in the language skills of elementary school students which must always be mastered by students. Difficulty reading is also a distraction and a barrier that can hinder an aspect of students' reading ability. The purpose of this study is to analyze students' difficulties in reading beginning in grade 1 of elementary school. Researchers used qualitative research methods using qualitative descriptive types. The research location was carried out in June 2023 at SD Negeri Cimone 6, with a total of 31 students. Data collection methods that will be used by researchers are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study showed that students at SDN 6 Cimone who had difficulty reading beginning were grade 1 students. The type of students' initial reading difficulty was recognizing letters with almost the same shape. Beginning reading difficulties experienced by students are caused by internal factors and external factors. Efforts made by the teacher to reduce reading difficulties in students are by providing additional hours and designing learning that increases student enthusiasm for learning.

Abstract

This study discusses the use of the cooperative learning model for beginning reading and writing problems (MMP) in class III at SDN Sindangraksa, located in Serang City. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study technique. The purpose of this study was to see the effectiveness of the cooperative learning method for students with low initial reading and writing abilities. Based on the results of observations and interviews, the problem that occurs is that there are still students who are not fluent in reading and writing at the beginning of class III. The main factors of these problems are the lack of motivation to learn, the existence of family environmental factors and the use of inappropriate learning methods. Therefore, researchers took direct action using the cooperative learning method in an effort to help students who were still low in reading and writing skills in understanding the material. Cooperative learning method is a method by grouping students in learning activities. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that the use of the cooperative learning method is effective and has a fairly good impact on students who are still low in their reading and writing abilities.

Abstract

Siswa harus mahir dalam kemampuan menulis untuk mengekspresikan diri mereka dengan cara tertulis dan canggih. Partisipasi aktif siswa dalam mengembangkan komunikasi antara pengajar dan teman sebaya harus diimbangi dengan latihan menulis. Hasil tulisan merupakan salah satu tanda keberhasilan menulis. Untuk itu, peserta didik harus mengikuti prosedur penulisan sebelum, selama dan setelah penulisan dari guru. Berdasarkan hasil diagnostik literasi menulis didapatkan data bahwa dari 30 peserta didik di kelas 2 terdapat 5 peserta didikdengan kemampuan menulis permulaan yang masih rendah di SDN Kamuning 1, Berdasarkan permasalahan yang peneliti temukan, permasalahan ini dapat diselesaikan dengan cara menggunakan model Pembelajaran Based Learning atau pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Peserta didik dalam menulis terlihat ada kemajuan, dari 5 orang dengan menulis permulaan yang rendah menjadi 2 orang. Hal tersebut terlihat dari hasil evaluasi yang diberikan kepada peserta didik.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in concentration and learning outcomes in science through mind mapping for class V SDN Pasirmanggu. This research is motivated by the presence of students who do not concentrate during the learning process so that it affects learning outcomes that are not optimal. This study used a type of classroom action research in which the subjects were 18 fifth grade students at SDN Pasirmanggu. while the object of this research is to increase learning concentration and science learning outcomes through mind mapping in class V SDN Pasirmanggu. The instrument of this research was to use a questionnaire sheet to measure the level of student learning concentration and an observation sheet to observe students and teachers in the science learning process by applying the mind mapping method. Research data were analyzed by descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The results of this study indicate that learning through the application of the mind mapping method can improve concentration and science learning outcomes in fifth grade students at SDN Pasirmanggu. By modifying actions in the form of delivering material using a modified mind mapping method, questioning and answering material by actively involving students, making and creating mind map forms accompanied by teachers and researchers, presenting the results of student mind maps by selecting them randomly, and reflecting on learning by involving students at the end of learning, able to increase learning concentration and student learning outcomes. Based on the results of questionnaires and observations, the concentration of students' learning has increased with the "high" criterion. At meeting 1, the number of students who got a learning concentration score of ≥75 consisted of 5 students (27.8%). At meeting 2 it increased to 10 students (55.6%), then at meeting 3 it increased to 17 students (95%). Furthermore, the learning outcome data at meeting 1 was the number of students who scored ≥75 (KKM) consisting of 6 students (33.4%). At meeting 2, it increased to 12 students (67%), at meeting 3, it increased to 18 students (100%). Thus it can be concluded that with the mind mapping method in class V SDN Pasirmanggu, it has succeeded in increasing learning concentration and science learning outcomes.
