Abstract

This research is motivated by students' difficulties in solving problems that arise related to learning science. The goal to be achieved in this study is to know the feasibility of HOTS-oriented ecosystem V-theme teaching materials that are valid, practical, and effective for fifth-grade elementary school students. The results of the practicality trial obtained data from the small group trial of 92.78% and the teacher practicality trial of 90.48% with a very practical classification. Therefore, the total of the data obtained has a percentage of 91.63% with a very practical classification. The effectiveness test was carried out on fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Sumber Harta, which consisted of 22 students. The average pretest score obtained by students is 44.09. While the average post-test score obtained by students is 85.09. Based on the results of the data from the two tests carried out, the level of effectiveness of teaching materials based on N-Gain is 0.73 with a high classification. So it can be concluded that HOTS-oriented teaching materials are declared effective and appropriate to be used to assist students in learning activities at school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat sebuah produk berupa Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) IPA bebrasis pendekatan saintifik melalui proyek untuk siswa Kelas V SD pada materi organ pernapasan, serta untuk menghasilkan LKPD yang layak digunakan dalam belajar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan, dimana model pengembangan diadaptasi dari model Borg dan Gall. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu 22 orang peserta didik dan seorang guru. Divalidasi oleh 6 orang ahli diantaranya ahli materi, ahli media dan ahli bahasa. Hasil analisis data dinyatakan layak untuk digunakan dengan rincian aspek materi 0,75 (sangat layak), aspek media 0,7 (layak) dan aspek bahasa 0,66 (layak), serta hasil uji lapangan dari respon guru dan peserta didik telah memenuhi kriteria layak untuk digunakan. Secara umum LKPD berbasis pendekatan saintifik melalui proyek materi organ pernaapsan pada manusia layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to develop teaching materials in the form of LKPD based on attention, relevance, confidence, and satisfaction (arcs) on subtheme 1 of energy sources for grade III elementary school students that are valid, practical and effective. This type of research is Research and Development with the ADDIE development model. Data collection techniques through interviews, questionnaires, tests, and documentation with research subjects being grade III students of SD 2 Raksa Budi. Based on the results of the analysis of the validation test of LKPD based on attention, relevance, confidence, and satisfaction (arcs) on subtheme 1 of energy sources for grade III elementary school students assessed by three experts, namely, language experts, media experts, and material experts, it meets the validity criteria with an average score of 0.87. Meanwhile, from the results of the analysis of the assessment of the practicality sheets of teachers and students, it was obtained that the LKPD attention, relevance, confidence, and satisfaction (arcs) on subtheme 1 of energy sources for grade III school students met the practical criteria with an average score of 92.8%. Then the analysis of the effectiveness assessment obtained an average N-Gain score of 0.70 with an effective category. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the LKPD based on ARCS on subtheme 1 of energy sources for grade III students of schools is valid, practical, and effective so that it is suitable for use in the learning process in grade III of SD 2 Raksa Budi
