Abstract

Penelitian membahas tentang pentingnya etika dalam mengomsumsi produk: implikasi dan tantangan masyarakat kontemporer. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu: 1) untuk mendeskripsikan pentinya sebuah etika dalam mengomsumsi suatu produk, 2) untuk mengetahui bagaimana masyarakat kontemporer menghadapi implikasi dan tantangan dalam konsumsi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode literatur, yang disusun dari berdasarkan dari 1) Memilih sumber pustaka, 2) Menelusiri sumber pustaka, 3) Membaca sumber pustaka, 4) Melakukan pencatatan, 5) Penyajian kajian pustaka. Dari hasil penelitian ini menunjukan sebagai berikut: 1) Bahwa etika konsumsi sangatlah penting dalam mengomsumsi suatu produk atau jasa hingga akan mendapatkan manfaat bagi diei sendiri maupun orang lain, 2) Dengan adanya implikasi dan tantangan terkait etika konsumsi membutuhkan tindakan kolektif dari konsumen, produsen, pemerintah, dan lembaga terkait untuk mencapai praktik konsumsi yang lebih bertanggung jawab dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi theory of planned behavior dalam penerapan halal certification pada UMKM sektor makanan dan minuman halal di kawasan Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Deskriptif kuantitatif adalah penelitian yang menggunakan data berupa angka untuk mengukur dan menganalisis fenomena atau permasalahan yang sedang diteliti. Data yang dikumpulkan menggunakan teknik kuesioner yang disebar dengan menggunakan google form. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh UMKM di kawasan Medan yang belum melakukan kepengurusan halal certification. Dengan jumlah sampel yang digunakan yaitu sebanyak 31 pelaku usaha UMKM di kawasan Medan. Hasil penelitian yang peneliti dapatkan menunjukan bahwa terdapat 3 aspek pada theory of planned behaviour yaitu sikap, norma subjektif, dan persepsi kontrol perilaku, yang diketahui mampu mempengaruhi para pelaku UMKM di kawasan Medan untuk melakukan kepengurusan halal certification.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the strategies used by Padang Sinar Restaurant in meeting customer expectations in the culinary industry. This research emphasizes the importance of understanding and anticipating customer needs to maintain competitive advantage. This research also explores the concept of customer expectations and its relationship with service quality. This research discusses various aspects of service quality and consumer behavior. It was stated that service quality is very important for businesses to measure their performance and meet customer expectations. This research also introduces the concept of Servqual, a tool used to measure service quality based on five dimensions: tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. This research also briefly discusses the importance of price and value in consumer decision making. This research discusses the importance of providing value and satisfaction to customers so that companies can be successful. This research uses qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach. The data collection technique uses observation or observations, interviews with restaurant staff and several customers and Focus on Discussion. The strategy carried out by Padang Sinar Restaurant includes increasing service speed, responsiveness and transactions, as well as using a 4P marketing approach. The conclusion emphasizes the need for continuous improvement in service and product quality to meet customer expectations.
