Abstract

In this study the author aims to help parties SMA Purnama Trimurjo to select recipients of aid funds using the method Simple Adicvity weighting (SAW). There are three criteria that the author uses, namely the income of the parents, the work of the parents and the number of dependents. Considering that so far no particular method has been used in selecting poor students so that sometimes decisions are considered less efficient and not well targeted. Based on the criteria that have been determined using the research method SAW is carried out by looking for the weight value of each attribute, then a student selection process is carried out which will determine, namely poor student.

Abstract

One of the things that becomes a benchmark for a tertiary institution in terms of the quality of education is the level of success in producing alumni who can work after graduating from the tertiary institution. However, many university alumni who have been equipped with knowledge that is in accordance with the needs of the industry with the relevance of their education, but get jobs that are not in accordance with the relevance of their education. This study aims to implement the classification method with the C4.5 algorithm in the classification of the relevance of types of work on the alumni data of STMIK Dharma Wacana Metro City and to find out the factors that influence the level of job relevance according to their education. In this study the method used is classification with the C4.5 algorithm, with the final result in the form of a decision tree that will be used to analyze the factors that influence the relevance of the type of work to alumni of STMIK Dharma Wacana Metro City. In the research, the data used were alumni data from STMIK Dharma Wacana Metro City obtained from distributing questionnaires. The results of the implementation based on the decision tree that formed the attributes that most influenced the relevance of the type of work of alumni of STMIK Dharma Wacana Metro City Expertise based on fields of knowledge (IT/SI). This is because the attribute Expertise based on the field of science (IT/SI) as the root of the decision tree has the highest gain ratio value among the other attributes, followed by other influential attributes, namely GPA, Knowledge in the field or discipline (IT/ SI), Gender, Emphasis on learning in the field of science (IT/SI) during lectures, Facilities and infrastructure in pursuing the field of science during lectures (IT/SI) and the last attribute that has an effect is the year of graduation.

Abstract

Dalam penelitian ini, penulis bertujuan untuk mendukung UPTD pemanfaatan aset daerah di kota metro dengan mengevaluasi pegawai terbaik ASN menggunakan metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW). Empat kriteria yang digunakan penulis adalah kehadiran, kepemimpinan, kerjasama tim, dan kedisiplinan. Sampai saat ini belum ada metode khusus yang digunakan untuk menilai pegawai ASN sehingga pengambilan keputusan masih sepihak dan belum ada transparansi dalam proses penilaian kinerjanya.Berdasarkan kriteria - kriteria yang telah ditentukan dengan menggunakan metode SAW, Survey dilakukan dengan mencari nilai bobot dari masing-masing atribut, kemudian dilakukan proses scoring dan ranking untuk menentukan pegawai ASN terbaik yang hasilnya dipaparkan oleh Reny Handayani S.Sos., M.Sc. Sebagai Karyawan Terbaik 1.

Abstract

The internet technology has a great influence in human's life, including in the education field. In educational institutions, internet technology can be used to support teaching-learning process but also can be a distraction for students. Implementation of internet access blocking in educational institutions has become an important topic in the education world today. Access blocking can be used to control students' internet activities during class hours, reducing distractions and improving learning. In this research, we implement the internet access blocking using Mikrotik Router-based Scheduler in SMK Ma'arif Purbolinggo. We evaluate the effectiveness of the blocking by measuring students' internet access level before and after implementation and conducting surveys to the students and teachers to get feedback on this implementation. The results show that the internet access blocking using Mikrotik can effectively control students' internet activities and improve learning at SMK Ma'arif Purbolinggo.
