Abstract

This research was aimed to analyze the effect of Picture and picture learning model towardstudents' writing poetry skill in 5th class of elementary school in Bengkulu City. This researchwas Quantitative reseacrh. The method used was quasi-experimental and the design wasmatching only posttest control group. The population of this research was 5th class of all elementary school in Bengkulu city whereas the sample was class V of elementary School No 51 was the control class. Both classes used School Based Curriculum (KTSP) and obtain accreditation A. The technique of sampling was stratified sampling. The instrument used wasessay posttest for both control and experimental class. The data of the research was analyzed byusing descriptive analysis, prerequisite test and t test. The result of the research was found that the average score of posttest of the control class was 75,41 and the average score of posttest of the experimental class was 83,18. The result of the t test was found that the t count about 2,02. So, Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. This result showed that there was the effect of Picture andPicture model learning toward students’ writing poetry skill in 5th Class of elementary school inBengkulu City.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to find out the effect of jigsaw cooperative learning toward the 4th grade students’ thematic learning outcome in group XIX of elementary schools in Bengkulu City. This research was quantitative research. The method of this research was quasi experimental with the matching only pretest-posttest control group design. The populations of this research were all of the 4th grade of class B students in SDN 71 Bengkulu City with 32 students into experiment class and the 4th grade of class A students in SDN 72 Bengkulu City with 30 students into control class. There were two instruments were used, the knowledge outcome learning test from multiple choice which given through pretest and posttest, while skill and attitudes were given through observation sheets. The data analysis method was descriptive statistical analysis, prerequisite test analysis, and hypothesis test analysis. From the result of the calculation of t-test, t value was bigger than t table, with (4,89) >ttablel(1,67). The calculation of t value was higher than t table, it reveals that experiment class which used jigsaw cooperative learning could influenced the students’ learning outcome, it could be concluded that jigsaw cooperative learning influenced toward the 4th grade students’ thematic learning outcome in group XIX of elementary schools in BengkuluCity.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the Influence of Usage of Contextual Model of Lotus Technique to Writing Poetry Skill of Grade V of SDN at Gugus III of Bengkulu City. This type of research is quantitative research. The research method used is Quasi Experimental Design by using the design type The Matching Only Posttest Control Group Design. The population in this study is all students of State Elementary School students of class V in Gugus III of Bengkulu City. The sampling technique using Cluster Random Sampling and obtained V SDN 57 Kota Bengkulu as experiment class with the number of 24 students and class of SD SDN 17 Kota Bengkulu as control class amounted to 24 students. The research instrument used in the form of a test of writing poetry given through posttest (after the learning took place). The data of this research were analyzed using descriptive and inferential analysis (t-test). Data of this research are analyzed by using inferential analysis that is t-test (mann whitney u test). From result of research known by result of t-test with tcount equal to 6,20 and value table with significant level 5% 4,390. So with thitung (6.20)> ttable (4,390). The value of tcount obtained is bigger than ttable value hence can be concluded that there is influence of usage of contextual model of lotus technique to poetry writing skill of class V SDN student in Gugus III Kota Bengkulu.
