Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to develop a Project Based Learning (PjBL) model in thematic learning using a scientific approach to develop environmental awareness and creativity for elementary school students. The method used is development research. The results of the research that have been achieved are (1) mapping the themes and sub-themes of class IV and class V, (2) thematic learning devices using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model using the scientific approach in class IV and Class V SD, and (3) instruments authentic assessment to assess environmental care and creativity.Keywords: PjBL, thematic, scientific, environmental care and creativityAbstrak: tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) dalam pembelajaran tematik menggunakan pendekatan saintifik untuk mengembangkan sikap peduli lingkungan dan kreativitas bagi siswa Sekolah Dasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan. Hasil penelitian yang telah dicapai adalah: (1) pemetaan tema dan subtema kelas IV dan kelas V, (2) perangkat pembelajaran tematik dengan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) menggunakan pendekatan saintifik pada kelas IV dan Kelas V SD, dan (3) instrumen penilaian otentik untuk menilai sikap peduli lingkungan dan kreativitas.Kata Kunci: Model PjBL, tematik, saintifik, peduli lingkungan dan kreativitas.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Realistic Mathematics Education models on the ability of mathematics literacy of fifth grade students of the XIV Cluster Elementary School in Bengkulu City. This research is a quantitative research. The method used is quasy experimental with desigen type is the matching only pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study was the elementary school cluster XIV Bengkulu City. The sampling technique used cluster random sampling. The sample in this study was class V at SDN 42 Bengkulu City as an experimental class and class V at SDN 24 Bengkulu City as a control class. The research instrument used in the form of a test sheet in the form of a description of 4 squestions. Taking the test twice, namely before and after learning takes place in the experimental and control classes. Based on the t-test calculation of the students' posttest results, where tcount= 4.09 and ttable = 2.07. Because tcount>ttable, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference on the use of realistic mathematics education models on the ability of mathematics literacy of fifth grade students in the XIV group of Bengkulu city.Keywords: Realistic Mathematics Education, Mathematical Literacy Ability

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the increase in student learning outcomes by applying the discovery learning model to the curriculum and learning courses semester IB PGSD Study Program, Faculty of Education, University of Bengkulu. The method used is qualitative, classroom action research. The subjects of this study were 29 students of Elementary School Teacher Study Program. This study used test to measure student learning outcomes. Data from the test results were analyzed by qualitative descriptive. The results showed that there was an increase in the average test score of student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II, from 81 to 86. Completeness also increased from 76% in the first cycle to 85% in the second cycle.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of learning and skills Culture Art Class III SD Negeri 68 of Bengkulu and how student learning outcomes in the cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects of the third grade students. This type of research is descriptive quantitative techniques percentage. The study population was around the third grade students of SD Negeri 68 Bengkulu City. Samples were students of class III B SD Negeri 68 Bengkulu City. Data were analyzed using a multiplechoice test sheet, and the observation sheet. The results showed that the cognitive aspect there are 17 students from 24 students who are in the category capable with the percentage 70.83%, a category not able to have 7 students with a percentage of 29.16%. On the affective value of students in a category is able to have 16 students with a percentage of 66.67%, the category is not able to have 8 students with a percentage of 33.33%. On the psychomotor aspects of students in a category is able to have 15 students with a percentage of 62.5% and the categories are not able to have 9 students with a percentage of 37.5%. It was concluded that student learning outcomes in these three aspects vary. Students who get good cognitive value, not necessarily getting a good value also on affective and psychomotor.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of ethnomatemics-based Realistic Mathematics Education models on literacy skills in mathematics learning of Grade IV SDN Cluster XIV Bengkulu City. This research is a quantitative research. The method used is quasy experimental design with the type of matching only pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study was Class IV SDN Cluster XIV Bengkulu City. The sampling technique uses cluster random sampling. The sample in this study was class IV in SDN 52 Bengkulu City as an experimental class and class IV in SDN 24 Bengkulu City as a control class. The research instrument used in the form of a test sheet in the form of a description of 5 questions. Taking the test twice, namely before and after learning takes place in the experimental and control classes. Based on the t-test calculation of students' posttest results, where tcount = 3, 38 and ttable = 2.04. Because tcount> ttable, shows that there are differences in posttest results between the experimental class and the control class. The conclusion in this study there is a significant influence on the use of ethnomatemics-based realistic mathematics education models on literacy skills in mathematics learning of fourth grade SDN cluster XIV Bengkulu city.

Abstract

This  study  aims  to  determine  the  effect  of  the  use  of  the  Problem  Based Learning model on disaster preparedness material on the  scientific literacy skills of Class IV students at the Bengkulu State Elementary School. This type of research is quantitative research with experimental methods. The design in this study is The Matching Only Pretest-Postest Group Design. The population in this study was SDN 01, SDN 04, SDN 08, and SDN 11. The sampling used cluster random sampling technique so that the fourth grade of SD Negeri 08 Bengkulu City (experimental class) and class IVA SD Negeri Bengkulu City (control class) were obtained. Instrument testing was conducted in class V of SD Negeri 04 Kota Bengkulu. The instruments used in this study were the questionnaire  components  of  scientific  attitude  totaling  15  questions,  the multiple-choice  context  sheet  test  sheets  totaling  10  questions.  Soft  test components  in  the  form  of  multiple  choice  knowledge  which  number  10 questions, and observation sheets of competency components. The calculation results of the t-test gain score on the components of scientific attitude obtained a thitung of 5.73 greater than the ttabel value of 1.673, in the context component obtained a thitung of 4.48 greater than the ttabel value of 1.673, the component of knowledge obtained by thitung for 4.78 greater than the ttabel value of 1.673, and in the competency component in the experimental class the criteria are very good at 57%, the criteria for good are 43% while the criteria for the control class are very good at 35.7%, the criteria are good 53.6% , the criteria are quite 10.7%. Based on the results of the four components of scientific literacy, it means that there is a significant influence on the use of the Problem Based Learning model on students' literacy skills. The conclusion in this study is that there is the influence  of  the  use  of  the  Problem  Based  Learning  model  in  Disaster Preparedness  material  on  Science  Literacy  Ability  of  Class  IV  Students  of Bengkulu City Elementary School.Keywords:   Problem  Based  Learning  Model,  Disaster  Preparedness,  Science, Literacy Ability

Abstract

This study aims to determine the of tge PjBL learning model, Diorama in science learning on the creative thinking abilities of fourth grade students in elementary schools. This research is a wuantitative research. The method used is quasy experiment. The design in this study is The Matching Only Pretest-Posttest control Group Desigen. The population in this study were all students in Elementary School Cluster X Bengkulu City. The samples in this study were students of class IV A SDN 58 Bengkulu City, amounting to 20 people as experimental clasa and class IV B stduents of SDN 38 Bengkulu City, totaling 21 people as control class. The instrument used in the form of multiple choice tests consisted of dimensions of flency, flexible thingking, original thinking, elaboration, and thinking ability to evaluate (evaluation) provided through pretest and posttest. This research also resulted in a Diorama Project that affected students’ creative thingking abilities. The data analysis technique in this research is quantitative analysis using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Based on the results of this study note that the ?????? of 2.58 greater that ?????? at a significant of 5% of 2.02. This shows that threre is an influence of the Diorama Project Based Learning (PjBL) model in natural science learning on the creative thinking abilities of grade IV elementary school students.Keywords : Project Based Learning (PjBL) Leraning Model, Thinking Creative

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of the Learning cycle 5E assisted by Mind map on the factual and conceptual knowledge of grade V elementary school students on the learning of science. This type of research is quantitative research. The research method used was quasi experimental with the type of matching the pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study was elementary school XIX Bengkulu City. The sampling technique uses cluster random sampling. The sample in this study is the VA class SDN 69 Bengkulu City totaling 30 students as the experimental class and the VB class SDN 72 Bengkulu City totaling 25 students as the control class. The research instrument used in this study was in the form of mind map quality assessment sheets and factual and conceptual knowledge assessment test sheets in the form of multiple choice given at the pre-test and post-test. The data analysis technique in this research is quantitative analysis using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics, the t-test. The research data obtained tcount> ttable, namely factual knowledge 2.31> 2.01 and conceptual knowledge 3.30> 2.01. Thus it can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of the 5E Learning cycle model with a mind map to the factual and conceptual knowledge of students in the learning of science class V in elementary school.

Abstract

This study aims to increase the activity and student learning achievement by applying the outdoor learning method in class VA SD Negeri 51  Bengkulu. This type of research is classroom action research. The subjects of this study were class VA students at SD Negeri 51 Bengkulu. The research procedure is in the form of  cycles II. The research instruments were in the form of student observation sheets and test sheets. The test data analysis technique uses the average value formula and the percentage of classical learning completeness. The results analysis of student activities obtained in the cycle I obtained an average of 31.25 with good categories increased in the cycle II obtained an average of 39.75 with a very good category. While for student learning achievement in the cycle I with an average of 74.09 and classical learning completeness 63.63% increased in the cycle II with an average of 82.04 and classical learning completeness of 90.90%. The conclusion of this study is that the application of outdoor learning methods can improve the activities and student learning achievement in Civics learning in the VA class of SD Negeri 51 Bengkulu

Abstract

This study aims to produce Student Worksheets using the Realistic Mathematics Education approach to build understanding of mathematical concepts in grade IV of Elementary School; This study is a Research and Development (R&D) research using a 4-D model. Validation is carried out by material experts, design experts and linguists. The developed were given scores and responses by 4 public elementary school teachers in Bengkulu City. Data analysis techniques used descriptive statistical analysis of the results of expert validation and teacher responses as well as qualitative descriptive analysis of comments from expert validation and teacher responses.. The results of the validity test of the mathematics that have been developed with the results of the material experts are 88.89 with a very valid category, the design expert validation is 94 with the very valid category, the validation of the linguist 90 is very valid and the teacher's response is 87.66 with the very category. valid as the final product of development and limited trial results to get an average value of 83.4 with completeness of 88.89%.
