Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of inflation on investment in North Sumatra Province and to determine the effect of the exchange rate on investment in North Sumatra Province. Using quantitative research. This research was carried out in North Sumatra Province with data from 2000 to 2022 taken through the North Sumatra Province Central Statistics Agency. In this research, the variables used include inflation (X1), exchange rate (X2), and investment (Y). The research data analysis method uses multiple linear regression analysis (Ordinary Least Square) with a significance level of 5%. The research results show that partially the inflation variable has a negative and significant effect and the exchange rate variable has a positive and significant effect on investment in North Sumatra. Furthermore, the inflation and exchange rate variables simultaneously (together) have an influence on investment in North Sumatra.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi ke arah serba digital saat ini semakin pesat, era ini berkaitan dengan keseimbangan antara kemajuan teknologi dan kemanusiaan. Begitu juga dengan UMKM memiliki peran penting dalam pertumbuhan perekonomian tentu mengalami digitalisasi ke arah teknologi yang semakin maju. Banyak variabel yang harus dipertimbangkan untuk menghasilkan sebuah tindakan dan strategi untuk dapat meningkatkan digitalisasi UMKM di kota Medan. Analytic Network Process (ANP) merupakan salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Pendekatan ANP digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi variabel kriteria, sub kriteria, alternatif, dan strategi yang dapat mempengaruhi digitalisasi UMKM di kota Medan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menggunakan Software Super Decision, pemberdayaan ditetapkan sebagai kriteria yang paling penting yang dapat mempengaruhi digitalisasi UMKM di kota Medan. Kemudian hasil keputusan alternatif terbaik adalah melakukan digital empowerment program. Dan hasil strategi terbaik adalah mentoring dan pendampingan dengan nilai normalized by cluster sebesar 0,54995

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of GRDP, government expenditure, population density, investment, and open unemployment on the Gini ratio in Indonesia during the period 2014–2023. The analysis technique uses E-Views 12 by selecting the Error Correction Model (ECM). Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the variables GRDP, population density, open unemployment, and government expenditures have a partial effect on the Gini ratio. Meanwhile, the investment variable has no partial effect on GRDP. In the GRDP variables, population density, open unemployment, government expenditures, and investment have a simultaneous influence on the Gini ratio.

Abstract

The Russian-Ukrainian invasion can resolve significant losses in terms of security, health, and even food. The invasion between the two countries has the potential to impact the food sector. This study aims to see how the analysis of the impact of the Russian-Ukrainian invasion on global food conditions pans out. To answer this research question, the author employs descriptive analysis as well as a literature review approach. Russia and Ukraine are countries that have an important role in producing food in the form of wheat, corn, and soybeans, as well as in the global food trade. But the invasions that occurred in these two countries disrupted and hampered food production, which caused global food supply chains and food trade to be hampered, causing world food price inflation. From March to May 2022, when the invasion between the two countries began, the average price of wheat, soybeans, and corn increased dramatically compared to before the COVID-19 pandemic. This invasion will hopefully be resolved through diplomacy between the two sides. In addition, all countries, including those with which they have economic cooperation relations, must be prepared to face a food crisis that is predicted to occur.
