Abstract

Pasien A: Wanita 14 tahun dengan luka kronik pasca-trauma fraktur terbuka regio kruris derajat IIIC over golden period (OGP) 1 bulan sebelum masuk RS. Pasien B: Laki- laki 20 tahun dengan luka kronik pasca-trauma fraktur terbuka tipe Galeazi, derajat IIIB OGP. Kedua pasien mengalami kehilangan jaringan luka, kemudian menjalani operasi. Simpulan: Dilaporkan dua pasien luka kronik yang menunjukkan perbaikan luka setelah penerapan sistem NPWT.Introduction: A conventional wound care in chronic wound management needs frequent dressing changes and associated nursing visits. The use of negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) has revolutionised care for chronic and acute wounds. The selection of right dressings and NPWT pressure settings result in optimal effects with minimal complications. Method: The NPWT system was evaluated in a community setting in 2 patients with chronic wounds associated with fractures that failed to heal with conventional therapies. Patient A: Women 14 years old with chronic post-traumatic wounds open fractures regio cruris grade IIIC over the golden period (OGP) 1 month before admission to hospital. Patient B: Male 20 years old with chronic post-traumatic wounds open fractures Galeazi type, grade IIIB OGP. Both patients lost their tissue injury, and then had a surgery. Post-operative wounds treated with conventional techniques before being replaced with NPWT. Results: Patient A: After 4 weeks, the wound was closed with granulation tissue suffi cient to conventional dressings and orthopaedic management. The risk of amputation was averted. Patient B: The wound progressed to heal after 3 weeks and then closed with advancement flap and full thickness skin graft. Conclusion: Reported two patients with chronic wounds were healed after using the simplifi ed NPWT system.

Abstract

This article examines and explores Islamic visions of environmental architecture and traditional Javanese houses (joglo) from the Qur'anic perspective. This qualitative research with a descriptive method seeks to analyse the values and Islamic vision of the Joglo house architecture by exploring several data sources, both field data and literature data. The results of this study indicate that the architectural elements of the joglo house contain philosophical ideas that are relevant to the Islamic visions in the Qur'an, such as; pendapa (containing the philosophical meaning of the openness principle), pringgitan (principle of equality), dalem (principle of privacy), senthong (principle of respect), gandok (principle of food security), and pawon (use of firewood) as for the suitability of philosophical ideas with the Islamic vision in the architectural elements of the environment, namely sawo (containing the philosophical meaning of the goodness principle), jambu dersono (the principle of sharing), belimbing lingsir (the principle of remembering God), papaya (the principle of self-introspection), and beringin (the principle of knowing the origin). In short, the joglo house building reflects a house that can adapt to the environment and nature. Therefore, joglo is a representation of house architecture that can combine natural elements that are outward and inward, thus creating a comprehensive and balanced religious value.

Abstract

Although many agencies have carried out campaigns for and socialization of religious moderation, cases of intolerance still occur locally. These socialization agents are religious groups and university academics, and the media play a significant role because they produce information and influence people's perceptions to take action. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with Stuart Hall's content analysis. Hall believed that meaning is constructed through language. Meanwhile, the primary data source is religious moderation narrative articles published in the Solopos. This paper aims to describe the discourse on religious moderation produced by Solopos, published every Friday through the Khazanah rubric from March 2020 to March 2022. This research focuses on three aspects: firstly, who are the agencies used as references by the Solopos media in producing moderation narratives?; secondly, what are the issues contained in the Khazanah rubric?; and thirdly, how does the editorial policy present the discourse of religious moderation in Khazanah rubric? The conclusions of this study are: Firstly, Solopos uses teachers, lecturers, and religious leaders as references. They come from Islamic organizations such as NU and Muhammadiyah. Secondly, the issue of religious moderation raised by Solopos revolves around fiqh, muamalah, and aqidah. Thirdly, the editor of Solopos is committed to maintaining harmony by continuing to display articles that reflect moderate Islam. We call the journalism practice implemented by Solopos through the Khazanah rubric the wasathiyah journalism.

Abstract

This article examines the Lajnah Pentashihan Mushaf Al-Qur'an (LPMQ) in Indonesia which has the authority to provide corrections and recommendations, as well to supervise the distribution of Mushaf in Indonesia. In a decade recently, the massive flow of digitalization in Indonesia has also influenced the emergence of variety of digital Qur'ans with various problems. Hence the response and role of LPMQ in digital Qur'an correction process is important. Based on qualitative data and Max Weber's theory of rational-legal authority, this article shows that LPMQ awares and supports the emergence of digital Qur'an in Indonesia with several policies. However, several policies do not seem to work well due to the lack of qualified human resources in the field of Information technology. In this case, LPMQ seems to still maintain the old way in the process of the mushaf ratifying. In terms of authority, LPMQ  has the legitimacy of having the authority to perform ratifying of digital Qur'an. LPMQ as institution also has legality to affirm or certify a product. As well as the authority is allowed to issue an order such as a set of rules, in which it is drawn up by the institution holding the authority and must be obeyed by the publisher of digital Quran.

Abstract

This study aims to see and analyze the strategy of Islamic Higher Education in Indonesia to counter the radical extremes of religious understanding. Based on a survey conducted to get the new students’ responses and an in-depth interview to the campus policymakers, the study results show the potential growth of radical religious understanding in the student environment. The potential is at the level of religious thought or understanding. Although the percentage looks small (10-15 percent), it certainly can grow if left unchecked. In addition, what should be recognized is that students can embrace radical ideology before their entrance to the university, not because of it. In response, the university also took preventive steps through enforcing several policies, such as holding curriculum reviews, performing educator supervision and evaluation, and monitoring and evaluating student activities. However, there are still several obstacles in implementing the policy of preventing radical ideologies from growing wider at IAIN (now UIN) Surakarta, such as monitoring student activities outside the campus and imposing uniformity in implementing the policies at the Faculty and Department level.
