Abstract

Toko Santan XX located in Nongsa District, Batam City processes coconut into coconut milk that is ready to consume by consumers. Processing is still conducted manually and a makeshift coconut grinding machine. It is not enough to support the high demand for coconut milk because Toko Santan XX has many customers in the region. In assessing the quality and safety of food management processes, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) studies can be used. Therefore, based on the situation analysis that has been carried out, this community service intends to provide Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) training to Toko Santan XX. Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) contain minimum requirements and general processing that must be met in food processing, from raw materials to final products. The purpose of the assessment is to make Toko Santan XX can create higher quality products and more efficient management. The GMP assessment was carried out using 14 assessment aspects, the average percentage was 59.45. This means that it is enough for Toko Santan XX to implement GMP at its place of business, but it still needs to be improved. Recommendations for improvements that need to be made include making SOPs based on the order of coconut milk production so that work is more organized, improving the layout of coconut milk processing tools and machines to increase productivity, and avoiding unnecessary movements. In addition, there needs to be an awareness of HSE at Toko Santan XX.

Abstract

Abstract: Decision support systems (DSS) have become an important tool in various fields, including the selection of fish seeds. Selecting the right fish seeds is a crucial step in successful fish farming. In this context, the Weight Sum Model (WSM) method can be used as an approach in decision making. This research aims to develop a Decision Support System for selecting fish seeds using the Weight Sum Model (WSM) method. This method allows a systematic assessment of various criteria that are relevant in selecting fish seeds. The first step in this research is to identify the criteria that will be evaluated in selecting fish seeds. Each fish seed is assessed based on each criterion using the appropriate scale. In the WSM method, the values given to each criterion are multiplied by the weight of the corresponding criterion, and the results are added up for each fish seed. The fish seeds that have the highest number will be considered the best choice based on predetermined evaluation criteria. This Decision Support System can help fish farming farmers in making more informative and data-based decisions in selecting fish seeds that suit their needs. Keywords: Decision Support Systems, Fish Seeds, Criteria, Weight Sum Model (WSM), Fish Cultivation. Abstract: Sistem pendukung keputusan (SPK) telah menjadi alat penting dalam berbagai bidang, termasuk dalam pemilihan bibit ikan. Memilih bibit ikan yang tepat merupakan langkah krusial dalam budidaya ikan yang sukses. Dalam konteks ini, metode Weight Sum Model (WSM) dapat digunakan sebagai pendekatan dalam pengambilan keputusan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Sistem Pendukung Keputusan untuk pemilihan bibit ikan menggunakan metode Weight Sum Model (WSM). Metode ini memungkinkan penilaian yang sistematis terhadap berbagai kriteria yang relevan dalam memilih bibit ikan. Langkah pertama dalam penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi kriteria-kriteria yang akan dievaluasi dalam pemilihan bibit ikan. Setiap bibit ikan dinilai berdasarkan setiap kriteria menggunakan skala yang sesuai. Dalam metode WSM, nilai-nilai diberikan pada setiap kriteria akan dikalikan dengan bobot kriteria terkait, dan hasilnya dijumlahkan untuk setiap bibit ikan. Bibit ikan yang memiliki jumlah tertinggi akan dianggap sebagai pilihan terbaik berdasarkan evaluasi kriteria yang telah ditentukan. Sistem Pendukung Keputusan ini dapat membantu para petani budidaya ikan dalam mengambil keputusan yang lebih informatif dan berdasarkan data dalam memilih bibit ikan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Kata kunci: Sistem Pendukung Keputusan, Bibit Ikan, Kriteria, Weight Sum Model (WSM), Budidaya Ikan.

Abstract

PT ABC is a company that produces various types of wire harnesses to produce cable assemblies. Wire harnesses are used in a wide variety of electronic products, such as motor vehicles, airplanes, industrial machines and household appliances. In this study the product that will be the object of this research is the wire harness assembly PN 03230462-0101 which is included in the ASM-AS cable project which has a long assembling lead time, this is because this PN is composed of several small PNs, namely PN 03218291- 01, 03218572- 01, 03218569-01, 03222900-01, 03218576-01, 03218574-01, 03223128-01, 03230390-01, 03230391-01. Small PN must be assembled first, so the time required will be longer and the process is quite complicated, there is still no clear work instruction in the cable assembly process, another problem is production efficiency which is still lacking based on company data from each each operator's actual production line that works is greater than the allocation of operators that should be. So that conditions like this cause a decrease in productivity and profits earned by the company. Project cable ASM-AS PN 03230462-0101 is one of the processes that will be improved using a manufacturing cycle efficiency approach. The number of value-added activities is 2,384 seconds, while non-value-added activities are 2,565 seconds, impacting productivity and MCE by 48%. The act of reducing non-value added activities to 987.30 seconds increases MCE to 68% with production flow optimization, automation and stock management
