Abstract

Background: Prenatal Yoga is a type of body, mind, and mental exercise that can reduce risk of preterm delivery, caesarean section, and fetal death. The objective of the present study was to determine the effect of Yoga on labor pain. Methods: This was a systematic literature review using seven electronic databases for searching: ScienceDirect, PubMed, GoogleScholar, Cochrane, ResearchGate, and Portal Garuda. Randomized Controlled Trial and Quasy Experiment studies examining yoga met the inclusion criteria. Results: Of 578 non-duplicated studies. 7 met criteria for full-text reviews. The finding in studies suggest prenatal yoga may be safe and may effectively decrease pain level while labor. Conclussion: Yoga appear to be safe and may reduce pain on labor. However, due to the limited number of high-quality Randomized Controlled Trials study, more reseach are needed to draw conclusions about improvement in other pregnancy outcomes.

Abstract

Background: Teenagers' lack of knowledge about puberty will have a negative impact both physically and socially on teenagers. Teenagers will feel anxious and afraid when physical changes occur. Data shows that the rate of early marriage in West Kalimantan is 25%. Researchers are interested in conducting research on the effect of educational videos on increasing teenagers' knowledge about puberty. Research Methods: This research design is a pre-experiment with a one group design model. The sample amounted to 61 female students using simple random sampling technique. The research location was at SMP N 06 One Roof Sintang, Sintang Regency. This research instrument uses a knowledge questionnaire with 30 questions. Statistical tests using the wilcoxom. Research Results: The level of knowledge before being done students who have less knowledge 73.8%, students who have sufficient knowledge 24.6% and who have knowledge 1.6%. have good knowledge or 98.4% and 1 student has sufficient knowledge or 1.6%. With a p-value test result of 0.001 <0.05. The mean difference between pretest and posstest knowledge is 36.18, which means that there is an effect of educational videos on adolescents' knowledge about puberty at SMP N 06 One Roof Sintang. Conclusion: There is an influence of educational video media about puberty on adolescents in SMP N 06 One Roof Sintang, Sintang Regency.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: WHO melaporkan bahwa prevalensi anemia kepada remaja puteri mencapai 29,6%. Anemia yang terjadi pada tahap ini dapat memperburuk konsentrasi, memori dan fungsi otak serta menghambat pertumbuhan fisik, permulaan menarche, kekebalan dan kinerja belajar. Remaja putri anemia berisiko mengalami penurunan perilaku (motorik, kognitif, dan sosio-emosional) yang berdampak buruk pada prestasi belajarnya. Media video cocok digunakan dalam menyebarkan rangsangan nyata karena melibatkan banyak indra. Tujuan: Menganalisis dampak penyuluhan kesehatan mengenai anemia yang disampaikan melalui media audiovisual mengenai peningkatan pengetahuan remaja puteri di SMA Negeri 6 Pontianak. Metode:  Penelitian ini ialah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode pra-eksperimental. Populasi penelitian adalah 178 siswi, dengan sampel sebanyak 45 siswi dengan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa video dan kuesioner yang masing-masing berisi 15 pertanyaan. Hasil: Rerata skor persentase pengetahuan remaja putri meningkat dari 77,18 menjadi 87,99 setelah dilakukan penyuluhan kesehatan melalui media video. Nilai p pada hasil Tes Wilcoxon kurang dari 0,05; yaitu 0,000. Kesimpulan: Adanya pengaruh yang signifikan penyuluhan kesehatan terkait anemia menggunakan video dalam peningkatan tingkat pengetahuan remaja putri di SMA Negeri 6 Pontianak.

Abstract

Background: Anxiety can be experienced by pregnant women when facing labor. Anxiety may be influenced by factors such as age, education, and occupation of the pregnant women. Preliminary study through interviews with a midwife working at Bojonggambir Health Center found that primigravida women in their third trimester experienced anxiety. Objective: To determine the relationship between the characteristics of primigravida women and their level of anxiety in facing the labor process in the working area of Bojonggambir Health Center, Tasikmalaya Regency. Methods: This study used a descriptive research design. The population in this study included all primigravida women in their third trimester within the working area of Bojonggambir Health Center. The sampling technique used was total population sampling, consisting of 30 primigravida women in their third trimester. Results: The results of the study showed a significant relationship between maternal characteristics based on age of primigravida women and their level of anxiety (p = 0.003 < 0.05). There was also a significant relationship between education level of primigravida women and their level of anxiety (p = 0.009 > 0.05), as well as a significant relationship between occupation of primigravida women and their level of anxiety (Chi-Square = 0.002 and Fisher’s Exact Test p = 0.004 < 0.05). Conclusion: Although the majority of primigravida women in their third trimester in the working area of Bojonggambir Health Center did not experience severe anxiety, some still experienced anxiety when facing the labor process. Therefore, further efforts are needed to provide education that not only increases knowledge but also fosters positive attitudes and encourages pregnant women’s readiness in facing labor.
