Abstract

This research discusses the steps of Arabic language learning reflection that can improve students' listening skills. The research method used is a qualitative method with a narrative approach. The research data was collected from in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis. The data generated were in the form of interview transcripts, field notes, observation notes, written documents, and video recordings. As for analyzing the data, the researcher used a narrative approach that involved the process of reading and understanding the data that had been collected, then identifying the main patterns and themes that emerged from the data. Furthermore, researchers categorized, compared, and connected these themes to make interpretations and understand the meaning obtained. The findings of this study show that activities such as listening then guessing style, listening then expressing meaning, listening then making sentences, and listening then writing sentences quickly can help improve students' listening skills. This research shows that although the use of innovative methods and media in Arabic language learning is quite diverse, there are still various problems that have not been covered, especially in terms of students' listening skills. The novelty of this study lies in the focus on strengthening learning reflection which can be a guide for teachers to improve the quality of their learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the learning of Arabic at SMP IT Hasanka Boarding School and to find out the factors that influence learning Arabic at SMP IT Hasanka Boarding School. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of field research conducted at SMP IT Hasanka Boarding School and Hasanka Boarding School Dormitory by using qualitative data analysis. Methods of data collection obtained from observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that learning Arabic in Islamic schools based on boarding school at SMP IT Hasanka Boarding School, namely learning Arabic in two models, namely learning in class and learning in the dormitory. For learning in class, the objectives, approaches, models, methods, media, materials and evaluation are different from learning in dormitories, not only different from learning in dormitories but also different from other regular schools. As for the factors that influence Arabic Language Learning in Boarding School-Based Islamic Schools at SMP IT Hasanka Boarding School, namely internal and external factors, internal factors are those that come from within the student such as the student's condition, and how students pay attention to learning Arabic. While external factors, namely those that come from outside the student's self that are considered by researchers such as: teachers, methods, media and infrastructure, as well as the social environment towards learning Arabic.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dan literasi digital guru Bahasa Arab di Samarinda melalui pelatihan serta pendampingan pemanfaatan Artificial Intelligence (AI) dalam proses pembelajaran. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi dengan mengintegrasikan teknologi berbasis AI bagi guru Bahasa Arab, serta ada kebutuhan mendesak untuk menyesuaikan metode pengajaran dengan perkembangan teknologi pendidikan abad ke-21. Metode yang digunakan adalah Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) dengan empat tahapan utama: laying the foundation, planning, gathering and analysis of information, serta evaluation and reflection. Pelatihan melibatkan kolaborasi antara tim pengabdi, MGMP Bahasa Arab Samarinda, dan IMLA Kaltim. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan guru terhadap penggunaan AI, yang terlihat dari perbandingan hasil pre-test dan post-test serta produk pembelajaran yang dihasilkan. Guru mampu memanfaatkan berbagai aplikasi berbasis AI seperti ChatGPT, Canva AI, Gamma AI, dan text-to-speech untuk mengembangkan materi ajar, instrumen tes, dan media pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif. Dengan demikian, pelatihan ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi digital dan profesionalisme guru Bahasa Arab, serta berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran yang inovatif dan relevan dengan era digital.
