Abstract

ABSTRACT Introduction: Nutritional status in Indonesia in 2022 shows that 24.4% of children are stunted. Stunting is not only a problem in Indonesia but also in the world. In Jambi province, the prevalence of stunting is 22.4% (SSGI 2021) where the highest category is based on WHO, at least 20%. Circumcision or circumcision is an operative procedure with the aim of preventing the accumulation of smegma which can cause inflammation. This activity was followed by 35 toddlers who carried out nutritional status checks where 16 toddlers were detected stunting while the circumcision service was attended by 16 participants where the youngest participant was 4 years old and the oldest was 11 years old. Method: This activity was carried out on October 20, 2022 in Jambi City. Previously the participants would be recorded first. To assess the nutritional status of participants, measurements of height, weight and a brief history with their mothers will be carried out. While circumcision services are carried out or carried out by a medical and paramedical team according to their expertise. Results: From this activity, it was found that the Nutritional Status of the children examined was 16 people (45.715%) suffering from stunting, and 18 people (51.43%) with severe stunting. Meanwhile, based on nutritional status, 18 children (51.43%) were underweight and 9 children (25.71) were severely underweight. Conclusion: From this activity it was concluded that there are still many children who suffer from stunting and underweight in the city of Jambi so that better management is needed by the government and the community. Keyword: Nutritional Status, circumcision ABSTRAK Pendahuluan: Status gizi di Indonesia pada tahun 2022 didapatkan 24,4% anak mengalami stunting. Stunting bukan hanya permasalahan di Indonesia saja tetapi juga didunia. Di provinsi jambi sendiri prevalensi stunting sebesar 22,4% (SSGI 2021) dimana kategori tertinggi berdasarkan WHO minimal 20%. Khitan atau sirkumsisi merupakan suatau tindakan operatif dengan tujuan mencegah terjadinya penumpuka smegma yang dapat menyebabkan inflamasi. Dari kegiatan ini diikuti 35 balita yang melakukan pemeriksaan status gizi dimana 16 balita terdeteksi stunting sedangkan pada pelayanan khitan diikuti 16 peserta dimana peserta yang termuda berusi 4 tahun dan tertua berusia 11 tahun. Metode: Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 20 Oktober 2022 di Kota Jambi. Sebelumnya peserta akan didata terlebih dahulu. Untuk penilaian status gizi peserta akan dilakukan pengukuran tinggi badan, berat badan serta anamesis secara singkat dengan ibunya. Sedangkan pelayanan khitan dilakukan atau dikerjakan oleh tim medis dan paramedis sesuai dengan keahliannya. Hasil: Dari kegiatan ini didapatkan Status Gizi TB/U anak yang diperiksa, yang menderita stunting sebanyak 16 orang (45,715%), dan severe stunting sebanyak 18 orang (51,43%). Sedangkan berdasarkan status gizi BB/U didapatkan anak yang underweight sebanyak 18 orang (51,43%) dan severe underweight sebanyak 9 orang (25,71). Kesimpulan: Dari kegiatan ini disimpulkan bahwa masih banyaknya anak yang menderita stunting dan underweight di Kota Jambi sehingga diperlukan penanggulangan yang lebih baik lagi oleh pemerintah maupun masyarakat. Abstract

ABSTRACT Background: Hypertension is often referred to as the silent killer because it can cause sudden death. The number of people with hypertension in the world continues to grow every year and it is predicted that by 2025 there will be 1.5 billion people with hypertension. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to determine the knowledge level, attitudes and family support on hypertension control behavior in Kebun Handil Community Health Center of Jambi City. Methods: This is a quantitative study with a cross sectional design. A sample of 91 respondents was taken by the accidental sampling method. Analysis of the relationship between variables was carried out using the chi-square test. Results: The results showed that knowledge level, attitudes and family support on hypertension control behavior got p value 0,000, 0,100 and 0,003. Conclusions: The level of knowledge and family support on hypertension control behavior at the Kebun Handil Community Health Center of Jambi City has a significant relationship. Meanwhile, attitudes on hypertension control behavior at the Kebun Handil Community Health Center of Jambi City did not have a significant relationship. Keywords: Knowledge Level, Attitude, Family Support, Hypertension Control Behavior ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Hipertensi sering disebut sebagai the silent killer karena dapat menyebabkan kematian secara mendadak. Jumlah pengidap hipertensi di dunia terus bertambah tiap tahunnya dan diprediksi pada tahun 2025 terdapat 1,5 miliar jiwa yang mengidap hipertensi. Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan, sikap, dan dukungan keluarga terhadap perilaku pengendalian hipertensi di Puskesmas Kebun Handil Kota Jambi. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan rancangan cross sectional. Sampel sebanyak 91 responden diambil dengan metode accidental sampling. Analisis hubungan antara variabel dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji chi-square. Hasil: Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa tingkat pengetahuan, sikap dan dukungan keluarga terhadap perilaku pengendalian hipertensi mendapatkan nilai p 0,000, 0,100 dan 0,003. Kesimpulan: Tingkat pengetahuan dan dukungan keluarga terhadap perilaku pengendalian hipertensi di Puskesmas Kebun Handil Kota Jambi memiliki hubungan yang signifikan. Sedangkan sikap terhadap perilaku pengendalian hipertensi di Puskesmas Kebun Handil Kota Jambi tidak memiliki hubungan yang signifikan. Abstract

Background: The incidence of Metabolic Syndrome (MetS) is an important health problem because it was associated with an increase in cardiovascular disease as the main cause of death. The prevalence of MetS in the world at age > 20 years was 24%, age 50 years was 30% and age > 60 years was 40%, while in Indonesia was 17.5% and one of groups that has most risk factors for MetS is the civil servant (ASN). This study aims to obtain a description of the MetS incidence among ASN in Jambi City. Method: A descriptive quantitative study carried out on 108 ASN from six selected government agencies in Jambi city through multistage random sampling technique. Data collection through physical examination to measure of 5 MetS criteria according to the NCEP ATP-III, namely central obesity, blood sugar, blood pressure, triglycerides, and HDL. Determination of the incidence of MetS if the subject has 3 of the 5 criteria. Result: The results of the analysis obtained that the incidence of MetS to 60.2%, and 3 of MetS indicators that have risk majority namely central obesity (74.1%), blood pressure (66.7%), and HDL (63%). Conclusion: It recommendation to prevent and control risk factors that affect the incidence of MetS through improving communication-information-education (IEC) for ASN to raise awareness and develop Posbindu in the workplace to early detection of MetS risk factors. Abstract

ABSTRACTBackground: Young Woman are the most vulnerable group to experience anemia due to irondeficiency because of the period of physical growth, reproductive maturation, and cognitivetransformation that requires high levels of micro and macro nutrients, including iron. In youngwomen, anemia that lasts a long time will put the mother at risk of death, have the potential to givebirth to premature babies, and have the potential to give birth to babies with low body weight, whichare risk factors for stunting. This study will examine Hb levels in high school students in Jambi City.Methods: This study is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design to describe anemia. Theresearch will be conducted in all Jambi City Public High Schools in August-September 2022. Thenumber of samples used in this study was 505. The sampling technique used was simple randomsampling at thirteen Public High Schools in Jambi City.Results: The study was conducted on young women in the city of Jambi who occupy high schooleducation. Of the 504 research respondents, 61 people (12.1%) had anemia, 443 people (87.9%)were normal. The median Hb level is 14.6 g/dl with a maximum value of 25.8 g/dl and a minimumvalue of <7 g/dl. Based on the regular monthly menstruation, 446 people (88.5%) admitted that theyhad regular menstruation. The number of young women who regularly consume iron tablets is 32people (6.3%). The habit of consuming tea or coffee with food was 332 people (65.9%) and the habitof consuming soda with food was 171 people (33.9%).Conclusion: High school students in Jambi City still suffer from anemia. Further intervention isneeded in giving iron tablets to adolescents and education in preventing anemia.Keywords: Anemia, Young Women
