Abstract

The demands of globalization and the change of educational paradigms, bringing new policies in the field of education in Indonesia, namely the application of the curriculum MBKM (Merdeka Learning Kampus Merdeka), with the main characteristic is project-based learning that aims to develop soft skills and build the character of student profile Pancasila on pupils. In addition, today's science learning is still faced with challenges and problems, which are caused by the lack of participation of students in the learning process, lack of motivation and interest of students to learn science, inadequacy of learning materials with the needs and environment of students, inappropriate learning methods, as well as non-variative and innovative learning resources such as lack of use of tools. Then to solve this problem one of the ways you can do is by giving training to make science gear. So, the purpose of this activity is to train the teacher in making science gear, especially related to the use of ice cream sticks used as the basic material for building media structures of DNA and RNA. This dedication activity has been carried out locally, located in the Pondok Pesantren Attohiriyah Alfadiliyah Bodak, Central Lombok. The implementation of service activities has been carried out well, through three stages, namely, preparation, implementation, to evaluation and reporting. Abstract

Project Based Learning is a student-centered learning model that builds and applies concepts in the final project by independently exploring and solving real-world problems. In this study, Project Based Learning learning was carried out by making learning videos about plant cuttings at SMAS ATTOHIRIYAH BODAK to improve students' existing competencies. The stages in this activity are the preparation stage which consists of identifying material and solutions for solving problems. Furthermore, the implementation stage consists of the process of making videos, video editing, and presentations. In the final stage, namely the evaluation and reporting stage which consists of evaluating learning videos and preparing activity reports. Based on the results of the activities that have been carried out, project based learning training activities are very useful for students, teachers and lecturers in developing their competencies to become facilitators in learning activities at the education unit level

Abstract

PjBL learning training based on practicum tools and learning videos on caliper material and screw micrometers at the Attohiriyah Alfadiliyah Islamic Boarding School, Bodak, Central Lombok. Measurement using a screw micrometer and caliper is one of the materials taught in high school physics subjects. The problem faced is the tool's small size, making it difficult for students when the teacher demonstrates the tool. The solution that can be offered is to watch the learning videos on how to read caliper calipers and screw micrometers on a computer or mobile phone and can be demonstrated directly with measuring instruments. The use of visual aids and videos in learning really helps the effectiveness and efficiency of delivering messages and lesson content. The use of tools and videos of caliper and screw micrometer visual aids in learning effectively increases the average student understanding of the concept of measurement

Abstract

Community service activities are one of the lecturer's obligations as stated in the tridharma of higher education. The community partner chosen by this service team is the Attohiriyah Bodak High School teacher. This activity is carried out in three stages, namely preparation, implementation and evaluation. The preparation stage was carried out to observe the problems faced by teachers at Attohiriyah Bodak High School, especially the problem of implementing learning and identifying the most effective problem solutions for solving problems. The problem that is resolved is the problem of less varied learning by providing training to teachers to carry out learning using the PjBL model. In the implementation phase, direct training was carried out in the application of the teaching aids-based PjBL learning model. The final stage carried out is the evaluation stage which aims to reflect on the service activities that have been carried out. This evaluation stage is in the form of the teacher's response after the service activity has been carried out, namely that the teacher is very enthusiastic about participating in this activity from start to finish.

Abstract

An important component in the learning process is the existence of teaching materials for students. Teachers need a variety of teaching materials, both in the form of textbooks and modules that can help carry out the learning process well. This research aims to test the effectiveness of a Socio-Scientific Issue (SSI) based science e-module to increase students' scientific literacy. This type of research is quasi-experimental research with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research was conducted in three class VII MTs Nurul Iman Dasan Makam, Sukamulia District, East Lombok Regency. The effectiveness of the e-module is obtained by providing test questions at the beginning (pretest) and at the end (posttest) of learning to measure the increase in students' scientific literacy. The results of the analysis of the effectiveness of increasing scientific literacy are in the medium category with an average N-gain score of 0.47. The research results show that the implementation of the SSI-based science e-module is quite effective in increasing students' scientific literacy so that it can be used as a teaching material for science learning

Abstract

The integration of technology and local wisdom in science learning has become increasingly important to enhance student engagement and understanding. This study aimed to develop and evaluate the practicality of a Science E-Module based on Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and a local-wisdom approach for high school students. The study employed a development research design with limited trials, involving Classroom implementation observations, teacher and student response questionnaires, and data analyzed using descriptive quantitative techniques. The results showed that the Classroom implementation reached 92% (very well implemented), teacher responses averaged 93% (very practical), and student responses averaged 87% (very practical), indicating high engagement and usability. It can be concluded that the developed E-Module is practical and supports effective learning by promoting independent learning, critical thinking, and digital literacy. These findings suggest that integrating PBL and local wisdom through digital modules can be an innovative strategy to improve science learning and is recommended for broader implementation in similar educational contexts.

Abstract

Strengthening students’ competencies, including critical thinking and creativity, is an essential part of implementing the Pancasila Student Profile within the Merdeka Curriculum. One instructional approach that can support the development of these competencies is Project-Based Learning (PjBL). This study aims to analyze the effect of implementing Project-Based Learning through a mini hydropower model project on students’ critical thinking and creativity in science learning on renewable energy topics. The study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design of the non-equivalent control group type. The research was conducted in the odd semester of 2025 with ninth-grade students at a junior high school in Mataram City. The sample consisted of two classes, namely an experimental class of 31 students and a control class of 29 students. The research instrument was an essay test consisting of 10 items, including 5 items to measure critical thinking and 5 items to measure creativity. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and one-way MANOVA. The results showed that the mean scores of students’ critical thinking and creativity in the experimental class were higher than those in the control class. The MANOVA results indicated a significance value of less than 0.05, demonstrating that the implementation of Project-Based Learning through the mini hydropower project had a significant effect on students’ critical thinking and creativity. Project-based learning in renewable energy topics not only enhances higher-order thinking skills but also supports the strengthening of Pancasila Student competencies and is relevant to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in quality education and clean, sustainable energy.
