Abstract

Tujuan - Tujuan dari artikel ini adalah untuk melihat dampak yang dapat diberikan dari komersialisasi dengan adanya hak siar dalam sebuah industri olahraga. Penjelasan ini dilatar belakangi oleh besarnya dampak yang diberikan dari perubahan format dan kebijakan yang terjadi pada kompetisi sepakbola di Inggris. Perubahan ini meningkatkan pendapatan terutama dari hak siar setiap dilakukannya bidding hak siar. Metodologi/Pendekatan – Tulisan ini tidak menggunakan data primer melainkan data yang tersedia dari riset- riset sebelumnya yang diunduh dan dilihat dari penyedia informasi berbasis internet termasuk di dalamnya merupakan informasi dalam bentuk jurnal, artikel popouler, situs jejaring dan laporan-laporan. Topik dari sumber informasi yang digunakan dalam tulisan ini, utamanya terfokus pada liga sepakbola Inggris kasta tertinggi yang telah berevolusi. Tidak adanya data berupa angka yang dikumpulkan serta tidak digunakanannya fungsi matematika dalam penelitian ini, sehingga dapat diklasifikasikan sebagai riset kualitatif. Temuan/Hasil – Artikel ini menunjukkan bagaimana komerisalisasi dalam olahraga melalui hak siar menjadi sumber pendapatan utama untuk olahraga tersebut. Namun, setiap olahraga, setiap liga yang berlangsung pada tiap negara mengadopsi kebijakan yang berbeda pula demi tercipatanya keuntungan dari komersialisasi. Kesuksesan Premier League dalam bertransformasi ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan pendapatan dari hak siar tiap musimnya. Implikasi Praktis – tulisan ini diharapkan dapat berguna bagi pemilik/pengelola klub ataupun promotor kegiatan olahraga dalam mengimplementasikan komersialisasi olahraga dalam pengelolaan bisnisnya. Riset ini menunjukkan bahwa hak siar merupakan bagian yang penting dalam melakukan komersialisasi olahraga.

Abstract

Primary data was gathered from a group of stakeholders through direct interview or online chat for those who are unavailable for such direct interviews. The objective of this research is to find the root problem that occurred during the 2020 HCTS as a virtual event held by Sun Eater, followed by a proposal of alternative solutions for said problems. The data collection is done with a qualitative research manner through the help of in-depth interviews with 2020 HCTS event personnels. The main problem was found to be “The lack of human resource skills in conducting an online event” by using the Severity and Urgency Matrix theory. The conceptual approach that was utilized during the construction of an alternative solution was the DMAIC, Event Management, and sub-domains knowledge of EMBOK theory.

Abstract

Indonesia mulai mengembangkan beberapa industri kreatif sebagai salah satu alternatif perkembangan ekonomi di dunia pariwisata. Adanya kehadiran berbagai macam industri baru di Indonesia sebagai bentuk rekreasi juga mulai diminati oleh para masyarakat. Salah satu industri yang membantu perkembangan pariwisata di Indonesia adalah industri event nya. Seperti sport event di Indonesia juga mulai berkembang pesat jumlahnya. Banyak perusahaan dan juga organisasi yang mulai menyelenggarakan sport event sebagai salah satu rangkaian program mereka. Sama seperti event Event Running yang di organize oleh PT. PTC. Riset ini merupakan hasil analisis untuk memperbaiki situasi problematik yang menghambat jalannya kegiatan Event Running pada tahun 2019. Analisis ini menggunakan teori framework DMAIC dan System Thinking. Pada tahap Define, peneliti menetapkan bahwa peserta merasa sosialisasi mengenai penggunaan Aplikasi untuk registrasi kurang menyeluruh adalah situasi problematik Event Running dan meningkatkan angka feedback positif dari peserta terhadap penggunaan Aplikasi untuk registrasi adalah solusi terbaik yang ditetapkan oleh peneliti pada tahap Improvement.

Abstract

Performance management is the tools for a sport organisation to measure their success. Previous studies have argued that a country’s success in sports is influenced by socio-economic factors that happen in that country. However, the factors that are used to determine the levels of success for football clubs are not necessarily the same, or bear the same weight. This study analyzes the influence of education in football clubs’ performance. The novelty of this work is that football clubs is treated as a business company that using measured performance indicator, cost efficiency and education as variables and determinants. Using an empirical analysis, the presented idea is to identify specific factors that raise football club’s success by means of several econometric specifications using panel data for European football clubs which playing in UEFA’s competition. It is found an evidence that education and football club’s expenditure caused to the sport performance. However, the club’s performance would be declining if it is influenced by certain part of education factor.

Abstract

The research explained about a sport event called Event Basket Pro that has been established since 2003, Event Basket Pro is one of professional basketball league in Indonesia and runs for approximately 8 months every season. Improvements are needed to make this event sustain, despite the fact that this event has operated for more than 15 years. Based on the research that was conducted using Soft System Methodology, it was found that Event Basket Pro having difficulties to create relevant digital marketing content related to their marketing target. The author suggested optimalizaton the system of social media marketing. In order to achieve it, according to the recommendation of conceptual model, every stakeholders had to play their role in planning, implementing and evaluation.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the differences between flow and immersion experiences and find the relationship between individual flow and immersion experiences in virtual run events. This research is qualitative research that uses narrative methods towards individuals by using interview for collecting information. The target of this study is the virtual run event participants from the period May–June 2021. This study involves informants who are sought through social media and personal relationships of the researchers. The search for informants was assisted by snowball sampling to be able to find informants who met the criteria. The results of this study found differences between flow and immersion and also the interaction between flow and immersion.BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi perbedaan pengalaman flow dan immersion dan juga mencari keterkaitan antara pengalaman flow dan immersion individu dalam virtual run event. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang menggunakan metode riset naratif terhadap individunya dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara dalam menggali informasinya. Target dari studi ini adalah peserta virtual run event dari periode Mei–Juni 2021. Studi ini melibatkan informan yang dicari melalui media sosial dan relasi pribadi dari peneliti. Pencarian informan dibantu dengan snowball sampling untuk dapat menemukan informan yang memenuhi kriteria. Dari hasil studi ini ditemukan perbedaan antara flow dan immersion dan juga interaksi antara flow dan immersion.

Abstract

Blackpink, a South Korean music group, held a concert at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium on March 11-12, 2023, bringing in a total of 140,000 audiences. This phenomenon became the talk of the town because it had a big impact. The crowd created a memorable experience and increased the desire to watch the BLACKPINK concert again in Jakarta. Aims to analyze the effect of Perceived Crowding on Memorable Experience (MME) and Behavioral Intention with moderating variable Fandom using a quantitative approach. This study collected 403 respondents and the data was processed mean test, standard deviation test, discriminant validity test, EFA test, CFA test, and MGA test using SPSS and AMOS. The result is that there is a significant influence between the four variables and the role of the moderating variable of high Fandom level can strengthen and improve the relationship with MME. Next, the research can be further developed by choosing a more specific geographical location and examining a different context. Through this research we hope to help readers, academics, and event actors to pay attention to the crowd in an event.

Abstract

In this paper, the authors have chosen to examine the operational strategic evaluation of Old Trafford Stadium. Although there are studies discussed about using operation management for managing venue, but there are still limited studies that have discovered clearly the implementation of sport venue management. The authors have used qualitative methods by tour observation in Old Trafford and secondary data from websites and academic books. In addition, through using these methods, the writers described the implementation of operation management, service process, operation performance, and operation strategy in Old Trafford. These four elements have proved to give impact on the revenues of the venue itself. To sum up, the findings proved that these four points are essential for Old Trafford, to gain more revenues. In contrast, commercialization is the only negative point that have been found by the writers that affected in customer satisfaction, caused by poor atmosphere in the stadium

Abstract

Football is the supreme sport in Indonesia. This popularity arises from football being a sport accessible to the crowds, easy to get involved in, and requiring minimal money to play. Football is more engaging when contested in a competitive league system. In Indonesia, there are both professional leagues run by football federations and grassroots championships known as Tarkam (antar-kampung / inter-village) tournaments conducted in rural regions. The Tarkam competition encompasses numerous traditions and includes up to 17 actors in the Tarkam football stakeholder mapping. This study employs an exploratory methodology, gathering data via content analysis and interviews with Tarkam football participants to elucidate the dynamics of football inside Tarkam. This study investigates the possibilities of social entrepreneurship in the execution of Tarkam tournaments. This study aims to unveil an alternative perspective of the Tarkam phenomenon, highlighting that it transcends just the sporting and economic dimensions. The study’s findings indicate that the execution of Tarkam tournaments aligns with the principles of social entrepreneurship, albeit in a more intricate manner; yet, certain social issues remain unaddressed within the existing tarkam framework.

Abstract

Sirkuit Mandalika terletak pada kawasan wisata yang berada di bagian selatan Pulau Lombok, Nusa Tenggara Barat. Mandalika menjadi Kawasan Ekonomi Khusus (KEK) dan diresmikan sejak tahun 2017 lalu. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pariwisata olahraga melalui pembangunan Sirkuit Mandalika terhadap perekonomian Pulau Lombok, peluang ekonomi, dan tantangan ekonomi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif yang menggambarkan kondisi objek dan subjek penelitian sebagaimana adanya dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Informasi topik didapatkan dari penelitian sumber sekunder dan analisa data perekonomian setempat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembangunan Sirkuit Mandalika berdampak positif bagi perekonomian setempat.
