Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine and analyze the role of psychological empowerment as a mediator in the influence of support for innovation and leader-member exchange on innovative work behavior among employees of Bank Nagari in Padang City. The population for this study consisted of all Marketing and IT employees of Bank Nagari in Padang City, totaling 101 individuals. The sample was selected using Isaac and Michael's sampling method, resulting in a sample size of 78 individuals. The analytical methods employed in this study were descriptive statistical analysis and factor description analysis using SmartPLS 4.0 software. The findings of the study indicate that support for innovation does not have a significant influence on employees' innovative work behavior. However, support for innovation has a positive and significant impact on employees' psychological empowerment. Furthermore, leader-member exchange does not have a significant influence on employees' innovative work behavior, but it does have a positive and significant impact on employees' psychological empowerment. Psychological empowerment, in turn, has a positive and significant influence on employees' innovative work behavior. Additionally, psychological empowerment mediates the relationship between support for innovation and employees' innovative work behavior, as well as the relationship between leader-member exchange and employees' innovative work behavior at Bank Nagari in Padang City.

Abstract

In the strategic leadership literature, innovation leadership plays an important role to realize strategic fit in  an organization. Strategic fit indicates that the strategic planning made by the organization is in accordance with the vision and mission of the organization, thus having an impact on its business performance. This study aims to investigate the mediating role of strategic fit on the relationship between innovation leadership and organizational performance. The population in this study were cooperatives in Lima Puluh Kota Regency with a sample size of 134 cooperatives. Research data were collected through questionnaires. The partial least square- structural equation modeling method with Smartpls 4 was used to analyze the data. The results of this study confirmed that innovation leadership has a positive and significant influence on strategic fit. Strategic fit exerts a positive and significant influence on organizational performance. This study also found the mediating effect of strategic fit on the relationship between innovation leadership and organizational performance

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Workplace Spirituality, and religiosity on the performance of civil servants with job satisfaction as a mediating variable. This research is quantitative research. This type of research is correlational research. A correlational investigation is an identification of important factors that are "related to" the problem. The study used all state civil apparatus respondents totaling 61 people who worked at the South Coastal Regency Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency. this research technique uses the Census, which means that information collection from all members of the population is used as a sample to collect information. The data collection technique used a questionnaire, while the data analysis used SmartPLS. The results showed that: (1) Workplace Spirituality has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance, (2) Religiosity has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance, (3) Workplace Spirituality has a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction, (4) Religiosity has a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction, (5) Job Satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (6) Job Satisfaction Mediates the effect of Workplace Spirituality on Employee Performance, providing a positive impact and significant influence on employee performance in the context of work discipline, and (7) Job Satisfaction Mediates the effect of Religiosity on Employee Performance.
