Abstract

This study aims to analyze the trend of cocoa commodity prices in South Sulawesi Province.The data sources used are data obtained from the BPS (Central Bureau of Statistics) of South Sulawesi Province. This study uses secondary data (time series) from 2011-2020, the research method used in this study is a quantitative method. Analysis of the data used in this study is linear regression with the least square method (least square method).The results of this study indicate that the trend of cocoa commodity prices in South Sulawesi Province in the period from 2011 to 2020 shows the development of cocoa prices every year on average of Rp. 13,078.00 per kilo gram. Keywords: Trend, Price, Cocoa

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisa terhadap sistem pencatatan dan pelaporan belanja modal pada Dinas Kebudayaan dan Kepariwisataan. Penelitian yang digunakan merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder, berupa laporan keuangan dan laporan realisasi anggaran dari Tahun 2022 Dinas Kebudayaan dan Kepariwisataan. Adapun teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis kualitatif terhadap Laporan Realisasi Anggaran Dinas Kebudayaan dan Kepariwisataan. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa Sistem Pencatatan dan Pelaporan Belanja modal pada Dinas Kebudayaan dan Kepariwisataan Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan di nilai sudah mengikuti Standar Akuntansi Pemerintahan PP No. 71 tahun 2010 yang di mana Laporan Realisasi Anggarannya (LRA) masih menggunakan kas basis. Sistem pencatatan dan pelaporan belanja modal ini juga sudah menggunakan perangkat lunak khusus untuk menyediakan Laporan Realisasi Anggaran (LRA) yaitu SIMBAKDA (Sistem Informasi Manajemen Barang Dan Kekayaan Daerah) yang dapat mempermudah para pegawai dalam penyediaan data dan informasi.

Abstract

This study investigates the contribution of English proficiency, learning motivation, and social support to the professionalism and learning strategies of accounting students in the global era. Employing a quantitative descriptive method with a survey design, data were collected from 90 students enrolled in the Accounting Study Programs at LPI College of Economics (STIE LPI) Makassar, YAPI College of Economics (STIE YAPI) Bone, and the Accounting Study Program at the AMKOP School of Economics in South Sulawesi. The research instrument consisted of a structured questionnaire analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques. The results revealed that the majority of students perceived English reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills as essential to their future careers. In particular, 72% highlighted the importance of English reading for accessing international accounting standards, while 68% emphasized writing for professional communication. Grammar mastery was also recognized as a foundational skill by 60% of respondents. Furthermore, 75% agreed that English fluency increases employability, and 67% supported the integration of English into the accounting curriculum. Institutional support was deemed adequate by 62% of participants, though there were noted calls for improvement. These findings indicate that English proficiency, along with learning motivation and social support, is positively associated with students’ academic and professional readiness. Therefore, it is recommended that curriculum development includes English for Specific Purposes (ESP), supported by institutional programs to strengthen language acquisition. Universities are encouraged to provide ongoing English language training, motivation-enhancing activities, and platforms for social engagement to support the holistic development of accounting students in the global professional context.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Indonesian and English language proficiency on the speaking ability of students at STIE LPI Makassar. The study employed a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. A total of 120 students were selected as samples using proportionate stratified random sampling. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that both Indonesian and English language proficiency have a positive and significant effect on students’ speaking ability, both partially and simultaneously. Indonesian language proficiency shows a more dominant influence compared to English language proficiency. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.582 indicates that the two variables explain 58.2% of the variance in students’ speaking ability. These findings highlight that students’ speaking ability is not solely determined by a single language proficiency, but rather by the integration of bilingual competencies. Therefore, higher education institutions should develop integrated language learning strategies to enhance students’ communication skills more effectively.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi Bahasa Indonesia dan Bahasa Inggris terhadap speaking skill mahasiswa STIE LPI Makassar. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain explanatory research. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 200 mahasiswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik proportionate stratified random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner skala Likert lima tingkat, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi Bahasa Indonesia dan Bahasa Inggris berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap speaking skill mahasiswa, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Kompetensi Bahasa Inggris memiliki pengaruh yang lebih dominan dibandingkan kompetensi Bahasa Indonesia dalam meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi lisan mahasiswa. Nilai koefisien determinasi (R Square) sebesar 0,648 menunjukkan bahwa kedua kompetensi bahasa secara bersama-sama mampu menjelaskan 64,8% variasi speaking skill mahasiswa. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya pengembangan pembelajaran bahasa yang komunikatif dan berbasis praktik aktif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi mahasiswa. Perguruan tinggi perlu menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang mendukung penggunaan Bahasa Indonesia dan Bahasa Inggris secara fungsional guna meningkatkan kompetensi komunikasi mahasiswa.
