Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of the work environment, work discipline, and organizational culture on employee performance. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. The sampling technique used was proportional stratified random sampling. The sample used in this study amounted to 236 employees. Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the influence of work stress, communication, and work environment on employee performance in the automotive industry. Employing a quantitative research design, data was collected through a questionnaire from a sample of 100 employees at a Honda dealership in Sidoarjo, Indonesia. Various data analysis techniques, including validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing, were utilized. The findings revealed that communication and work environment had a positive and significant impact on employee performance, while work stress had a negative and significant effect. Moreover, the results demonstrated that employee performance was significantly influenced by work stress, communication, and work environment collectively. These findings contribute to our understanding of the factors influencing employee performance and have implications for managerial practices aimed at improving employee well-being and organizational productivity. Highlights: The study investigates the impact of work stress, communication, and work environment on employee performance in the automotive industry. Communication and work environment positively influence employee performance, while work stress negatively affects it. The findings emphasize the importance of addressing work stress, improving communication, and fostering a positive work environment to enhance employee performance in the automotive industry. Abstract

Relawan merupakan profesi penlong yang dalam kegiatannya berfokus pada kegiatan kemanusiaan. Sebagai helping profession, kesediaanya dalam menolong akan membantu mengatasi permasalahan disabilitas terutama saat bencana maupun saat mengalami kesulitan berkaitan dengan keterbatasan fisik, sosial maupun dalam partisipasi sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh profesionalisme dan motivasi altruistik terhadap loyalitas dan kinerja relawan. Kontribusi empiris yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan gambaran faktor-faktor yang mampu mempengaruhi kinerja masyarakat relawan dalam aktivitas menolong. Desain penelitian dengan pendekatan kuanttatif. Populasi penelitian adalah relawan masyarakat Indonesia (MRI) di Surabaya dan Sidoarjo sejumlah 230 orang. Dengan teknik cluster sampling diperoleh 100 responden. Untuk membuktikan asil penelitian dilakukan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa motivasi altruistik mempengaruhi secara signifikan terhadap kinerja relawan. Profesionalisme relawan juga mampu meningkatkan kinerja.

Abstract

This scientific article presents a community service initiative aimed at enhancing the self-awareness of women (housewives) in Durung Banjar Village, Indonesia, regarding environmental cleanliness and waste management. Through counseling and knowledge sharing activities, the project fostered a deeper understanding of the impacts of cleanliness on the ecosystem. The methodology involved observation, permit management, activity design, and engaging sessions encompassing counseling, videos, and discussions. The study's outcomes underscored the significance of waste processing for economic benefits, contributing to a sustainable and environmentally conscious society. The documented results, including activity videos and news articles, highlight the importance of promoting environmental stewardship and sustainable practices among global communities. Highlights: Importance of Women's Empowerment: The community service initiative focused on empowering women to take a leading role in maintaining environmental cleanliness and waste management, fostering a positive impact on their households and surroundings. Knowledge Sharing for Environmental Awareness: Through counseling and various interactive activities, the project successfully shared valuable insights and information on the significance of environmental cleanliness, cultivating a deeper understanding among participants. Promoting Sustainable Practices: The study emphasized the crucial role of waste processing in generating economic opportunities, underlining the need for sustainable practices that benefit both the environment and the community.
