Abstract

Perakitan merupakan salah satu tahapan dalam produksi. Efisiensi dari lintasan perakitan akan sangat berpengaruh pada tingkatan produksi. Untuk meningkatkan tingkat produksi, efisiensi lintasan perakitan harus ditingkatkan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan lintasan perakitan alternatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan metode heuristik, untuk mencapai tingkat efisiensi yang tinggi pada lintasan perakitan. Hasil dari penelitian ini telah dapat meningkatkan efisiensi lintasan perakitan dari 53,2% menjadi 91,5%, . Kata Kunci: Lintasan Perakitan, Efisiensi, Metode Heuristik

Abstract

assembly is the one step on productions. Efficiency of assembly line is affecting to the level of production. To increase the level of production, the efficiency of assembly line must increase to. Aims of this research is to create the alternative assembly line with using heuristic method and simulation approach, to meet higher level of efficiency and increase the assembly line capacity. The result from this research could increase the efficiency of assembly line from 53,2% to 91,5%, and result from simulation approach could increase capacity of assembly line from 9035 box per month to 11249 box per month

Abstract

Saat ini sebagian besar energi yang digunakan rakyat indonesia berasal dari bahan bakar fosil, yaitu bahan bakar minyak, batu bara dan gas. Kerugian penggunaan bahan bakar fosil ini selain merusak lingkungan, juga tidak terbarukan dan tidak berkelanjutan Sehingga penulis menggambil judul tentang briket limbah kayu merbau sebagai penelitian. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kadar air,kadar abu, zat menguap, kadar karbon dan nilai kalor. Bahan dari bio briket yang digunakan pada penelitian ini ialah limbah kayu merbau. Komposisi antara limbah kayu merbau dan perekat adalah 90:10%. kemudian dibentuk menjadi briket dengan variasi penekanan yaitu: 350 kg, 400kg, 450 kg, dan 500 kg dengan waktu pengeringan 2-3 hari dibawah sinar matahari langsung. Kemudian dilakukan pengujian Analisis proksimasi. Hasil pengujian dengan nilai rata-rata yaitu: kadar air (3,94 %), kadar abu (1,98 %), kadar zat terbang (34,33 %), kadar karbon (59,70 %), nilai kalor (6567 kkal/kg). Pengaruh variasi penekanan dapat memberikan dampak yang signifikan dalam mendapatkan hasil.

Abstract

The use of sand as a mold in the casting process is very common. In this study, Balikpapan sand used as casting sand then analyzed its effect on hardness and fluidity of the Al-Si alloy. The research method used in this research is quantitative research methods using pre-experimental design, especially the one-shot case study model. The final results of this study will be obtained (1) the value of metal hardness from casting using the Micro Vickers Hardness Tester with a Hardness Vickers (HV) scale, (2) fluidity testing is carried out using the Birmingham method in order to determine the length of the cast metal flow (mm) on the final result of casting.

Abstract

Effect camshaft duration on performance of 110 cc gasoline engine carried out by comparing the duration of standard and modified camshafts of 303.5o to obtain maximum power produced by 110 cc smash type Suzuki engine and its effect on fuel consumption. This study aims to know of, (1) torque machine with modification in duration camshaft, (2) knowing total fuel consumption (FC), spesific fuel consumption (SFC), and thermal efficiency of the standard engine and engine has modified in the duration of its camshaft. A method of testing in the research was done with to the chassis of dynamometer as for testing done in PT.Suzuki galesong pratama through adhering to a standard testing suzuki that has been set. The results showed a change in the value of power and torque on standard engine power obtained by 5.3 HP or 3.88 kW to 6.0 HP or 4.63 kW with a torque value of 6.14 N.m, then decreased at 9000 rpm rotation of 5.02 Nm. While the duration of power modification camshaft obtained is 7.5 HP or 5.60 kW with a torque of 8.65 Nm, it also decreases at 9000 rpm of 7.9 HP or 5.89 kW. The significant effect occurs at 9000 rpm. Standard camshaft FC value is obtained at 0.8946 kg / h, SFC = 0.1932 kg / kWh. For duration of modified camshaft, at 9000 rpm,  FC value obtained was 1.6526 kg / h, SFC = 0.2806 kg / kWh. From these results, it is known that an increase occurred in the FC value with a difference of 0.758 from previous results with an SFC of 0.0874. Furthermore, thermal efficiency obtained by 50.01% at 6000 rpm decrease by 40.29 % at 9000 rpm for standard camshaft. The duration of a modified camshaft was obtained by 53.34% at 6000 rpm and decrease by 30.02 %  at 9000 rpm.

Abstract

Perakitan merupakan salah satu tahapan dalam produksi khusunya pada industri manufaktur. Untuk meningkatkan tingkat produksi, banyak cara dapat dilakukan salah satunya dengan merubah tahapan dalam perakitan khususnya elemen perakitan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membuat lintasan perakitan alternatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan metode ranked positional weight dan kemudian dibuktikan dengan simulasi, agar tercapai tingkat kapasitas produksi yang tinggi. Hasil dari penelitian ini telah dapat meningkatkan kapasistas produksi dari pendekatan perhitungan metode ranked positional weight dan kemudian dibuktikan dengan simulasi telah dapat meningkatkan kapasitas produksi lintasan perakitan dari 9035 buah boks perbulan menjadi 11249 boks per bulan.

Abstract

Along with the development of technology in the field of animal husbandry, it is necessary to have a simple tool that can help and relieve farmers in feeding livestock, especially for poultry. Therefore, a poultry feed molding machine is needed which is expected to help relieve farmers both in providing feed, saving time and costs for workers. The working principle of this poultry feed molding machine sequentially is that when the electric motor drive is turned on, a mixture of animal feed ingredients is inserted into the funnel, Engine power will be channeled to the axle screw conveyor through a V-belt transmission by tightening the pully tensioner which functions to stir animal feed ingredients. Animal feed ingredients that have been mixed evenly will be herded out to the end of the tube by the axle screw conveyor. The animal feed mixture will come out through the printer and will be cut by the blade, so that poultry feed is formed in the form of pellets. The test results of the poultry feed printing machine with a tool power speed of 653 rpm can produce 126 kg / hour of animal feed.
