Abstract

The core components of interpersonal intelligence are the ability to understand oneself and one's limitations, intelligence of mood, motivation, temperament and desire, as well as the ability to self-discipline, understand and respect oneself. This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of using the application of the reggio emilia approach to early childhood interpersonal intelligence in kindergarten. This type of research is quantitative experiment using pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. The sample was determined using purposive sampling, the sample in this study amounted to twenty-two children, each consisting of a control class of 15 and an experimental class of 15. The data collection technique in this study was an observation sheet of interpersonal skills. From the results of the study it can be seen that the experimental class with the Reggio Emillia approach is higher than the control class, it can be concluded that there is an effect of the Reggio Emillia approach on the development of interpersonal skills. In the effectiveness test, the use of interpersonal methods in Group B students of Aisyiyah Kindergarten Mamajang Makassar City is quite effective for developing interpersonal skills.

Abstract

This experimental study aims to (a) determine the application of the learning method of tourism in the Kindergarten Negeri 001 Timur, Bulungan Regency, North Kalimantan Province, (b) describe children's literacy skills before and after learning with the tourism method in the Kindergarten, and (c) identify differences between the experimental group (tourism method) and the control group in improving children's literacy skills in the Kindergarten. The results showed that the learning method of field trips in the kindergarten was effective in improving children's literacy skills. Before learning, children's literacy skills in the control class were in the low category, while in the experimental class were also in the low category. However, after learning, children's literacy skills in the control class increased to the medium category, while in the experimental class it increased to the high category. There is a significant difference in the effect of the field trip method on children's literacy skills in the kindergarten, which is indicated by an increase in the average literacy score from 5.89 to 8.67 after treatment. This is also supported by the results of hypothesis testing with the value of t count> t table at the 5% significance level.
