Abstract

The change in the transition period from the 2013 curriculum to the independent curriculum makes several obstacles experienced by the school community, one of which is the teacher in adjusting his competence to the latest curriculum. So that the principal plays a very important role in overcoming these obstacles. The purpose of this study is to reveal the role of the principal to overcome teacher obstacles in developing an independent curriculum in elementary schools. This research uses a case study method through a qualitative approach with Samirono State Elementary School as the location of this research. Data collection techniques were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. In an effort to obtain valid data, the data validity test was carried out through data triangulation. Data analysis techniques used were data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of this study show that the role of the principal to overcome teachers' obstacles in developing an independent curriculum in elementary schools is as a decision maker, mentor, liaison, director, leader, and coordinator.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menjelaskan tentang penerapan asesmen autentik ranah sikap pada kurikulum ismuba di SD Muhammadiyah Kadisoka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa penerapan asesmen autentik ranah sikap pada kurikulum ismuba sehingga mampuk membentuk karakter positif pada setiap anak didik di SD Muhammadiyah Kadisoka. Pada penlitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, yaitu dengan melakukan berbagai analisi yang didapati di lapangan yang berhubungan dengan implementasi asesmen autentik pada ranah sikap di sekolah tersebut. Sumber data meliputi data primer dan data sekunder, yaitu koordinator ismuba, dokumen kurikulum ismuba SD Muhammadiyah Kadisoka serta dokumen-dokumen yang terkait dengan kurikulum sekolah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang ditemukan, disimpulkan bahwasanya penerapan asesmen autentik pada ranah sikap dalam kurikulum ismuba dilaksanakan secara terstruktur dan baik, bahkan pihak sekolah memberika buku kegiatan yang harus diisi oleh orang tua/wali untuk penilaian sikap anak didik ketika berada di luar lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

This research investigates the application of the constructivist approach in enhancing critical thinking skills in science learning. The subjects of this study include the principal, the 5B class teacher, and 30 students from class 5B at MIN 2 Bantul. The researchers employed a constructivist philosophical approach with a case study design. Data sources consisted of interviews, observations, documentation, and analysis of additional supporting documents. After data collection and aggregation, the data were analyzed using the interactive model by Miles, Huberman, and Saldana, which includes data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing or verification. To ensure data validity, data triangulation was employed. The findings of this research indicate that utilizing a constructivist approach in science education enhances student engagement, fosters enthusiasm, and optimizes critical thinking skills in addressing learning challenges
