This study is a continued and multi-years research. In the first year, the data reveal about the management of flagship high school in Jakarta, West Java, Yogyakarta, and South Sulawesi, based on indicators of human rights-based education, and reveal the presence of data and international schools management in Jakarta. Based on the findings in the first year (2009), there has been three books that will be used as a guideline in the developing International Standard School (SBI), namely: (1) SBI development handbook (2) SBI curriculum development handbook, and (3 ) SBI workforce manual. Subsequently in the second year, third guidebook will be piloted in schools that are potential to become SBI. In addition, in the second year (2010) there will be: (1) SBI manual on students selection, (2) SBI teaching and learning process implementation guidebook, and (3) SBI finance guidebook. These handbooks will complement the development of the entire system in ac- cordance with SBI rights-based education parameters. This research is a descriptive and evaluative research and was taken place in RSBI high school in Yogyakarta Province (SMAN 3 Yogyakarta, Yogyakarta SMAN 8, and SMA Muhammadiyah 2). The evaluative research is used to determine the success of the application of International School Development Handbook, Man Power Manual, and Curriculum Handbook. The experi- ment lasted for 8 months, from February to November 2010.

Protection of Human Rights (HAM) in a correctional environment increasingly viable echoed today, in line with international human rights normativity that constantly integrated into the national system of Indonesia. This directly impacts the progresitvitas protection of individuals, in this case prisoners, during a period of coaching in the penitentiary. Nevertheless, it still remains a matter of public discussion is related to the fulfillment of the right to sexual needs for prisoners. Of course, many things that need to be considered in the design of the mechanism of the right to sexual needs of prisoners. It is intended to determine how states apply the principle of proportionality in the context of the right to sexual needs of prisoners. Through a qualitative approach is accompanied by interviews, this study is expected to eventually be the subject of penal policy formulation to be more advanced aspects of the protection of civil rights of the individual, taking into account the security aspects and the social order of society. This study found a significant relationship between the right to sexual needs against sexual perversion and crime and divorce rates inmates. Nonetheless, found an interesting phenomenon that shows the differences between inmates paradigm sexual needs of men and women, and yet there is a setting that specifically regulates sexual fulfillment for inmates. Therefore, the fulfillment of sexual needs as rights of prisoners should be regulated by a variety of restrictions and review of institutions adhering to the values of society and does not injure the value of public justice.

Human Rights Violations of Labor Women that have emerged so far such as unpaid salary and abused by employers are crucial issues as it involves inter-state relations. On the one hand, Indonesia intends to preserve the harmony of Indonesia’s diplomatic relations, but on the other hand such problems have brought grief issues for migrant workers and their families. The problem is that how the protection of migrant workers’ rights who are working abroad is to be implemented; What are the causing factors of the occurence of human rights violations over maids working abroad, especially in Malaysia, and what steps needed to be taken to provide protection of migrant workers who are working abroad. The purpose of this study was to determine and to describe the practice of human rights protection. The method used is a qualitative approach with descriptive type (empirical juridic) and in answering the research problem, the research uses documentary research and field research. While the research is to evaluate the practice of human rights protection in order to find the causative factors of human rights abuses over migrant workers working in foreign countries, and measures that are needed to be done to prevent the occurrence of violations of Labor Women in the future.

Election is the momentum for the community to voice communication rights are implemented through political campaigns. Politics in the election campaign is one important step in the implementation of procedural democracy . In practice, political campaigns are conducted in some areas yet despite the sentiments which tend to be discriminatory . Issues raised in this study is how the picture of the practice of regional head election campaigns (elections ) in West Kalimantan; picture of how the election campaign nuanced pattern of human rights; how the efforts of the government and election organizers in addressing and preventing practices that are not nuanced human rights campaign . The purpose of research is to describe the practice of election campaigns that occurred in the province of West Kalimantan and the factors supporting the election campaign nuanced discrimination ; obtain a pattern of human rights nuanced election campaign ; know the government’s efforts in addressing and organizing election campaign practices are not nuanced human rights . As for the substance of human rights that the boundaries in this study include : the right not to be treated in a discriminatory manner in the course of the campaign . The method used in this study using a qualitative approach to the descriptive nature of the research . Techniques of data analysis and information gathered from informants and interviewees then performed a qualitative analysis of the substance , context , and the relationship between the audience campaigners from the aspect of human rights. Based on field data still use the election campaign practices of political identities (ethnic , religious , and regional) as a strategy in the campaign . Elements of the campaign include dilakuakan substance , context , and relationships in the campaign was marred by discrimination regionalism , ethnicity , and religion to seek public sympathy.

Kebijakan visa dan izin tinggal keimigrasian bagi penanam modal asing dalam dimensi pertumbuhan ekonomi di D.I. Yogyakarta adalah untuk mendeskripsikan gambaran realitas permasalahan penanaman modal asing dan pertumbuhan ekonomi, serta bentuk kemudahan dan fasilitas keimigrasian yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi di D.I. Yogyakarta. Metode penelitian dalam penulisan ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan dengan menggunakan perspektif helicopter view. Kesimpulan dari penulisan ini bahwa investasi asing akan mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi di D.I. Yogyakarta dan jumlah investor asing terus bertambah jumlahnya untuk berinvestasi D.I. Yogyakarta. Lebih lanjut, kebijakan keimigrasian khususnya izin tinggal keimigrasian dapat menjadi stimulus kebijakan dalam rangka peningkatan penanaman modal asing. Sebagai kontribusi akademis, kajian ini telah memberikan lesson learnt bagi Indonesia yang diambil melalui metode Perbandingan dengan beberapa negara yang menjadi role model pengembangan kebijakan keimigrasian di tataran internasional dalam rangka perbaikan kualitas kebijakan keimigrasian, khususnya bagi investor asing di Indonesia. Pada bagian akhir, penulisan ini juga memberikan rekomendasi untuk dilakukan redesain kebijakan keimigrasian dalam rangka menciptakan kebijakan yang sesuai dengan dinamika masyarakat dan perkembangan situasi di tataran global.
