Abstract

Sports heroes are considered worthy of appreciation, especially for those who contribute to providing achievements for the nation at regional and international levels. The reward is given to athletes and coaches during their productive lives in the present until their retirement period. However, the rewards received by athletes and coaches tend not to be able to fulfill their welfare as a guarantee of life in the future. Therefore, this study was aimed at determining the relationship between rewards and the level of welfare given by the government and sports committees in Indonesia to athletes and coaches. This research was an ex-post-facto study using a self-administered closed-questionnaire conducted on athletes and national coaches on the 30th SEA Games team in Philippines in 2019. The number of samples was determined by using Slovin formula at 5% error rate and carried out on 46 athletes and nine coaches under the authority of the Indonesian National Sports Committee in Bandung. Data analysis was performed by using SPSS. From the results obtained, these rewards also had a direct correlation with the level of welfare of athletes and coaches. Considering that, if a maximum reward is given, the level of welfare will also be increased. The results indicates that there is a robust and significant positive relationship between rewards and welfare. Athletes and coaches expected the government and sports committee in Indonesia to give rewards that are not only limited to bonuses in terms of financial. Other aspects also need a concern when the athletes and coaches are no longer productive in contributing to the national sports achievements.

Abstract

Neurotracker is a 3D technology with Multiple Object Tracking (MOT). This technology has not been developed in Indonesia. Meanwhile, developed countries have implemented this technology in sport training, including in archery sport. In archery sport, the athletes are required to concentrate every time they perform a technique and to be fast and accurate in making a decision when aiming and releasing the arrows.  The problem usually occurs during shooting is that the athlete doubts in aiming and releasing the arrows, thus the shooting result does not hit the target. It is caused by the athlete’s doubt and the lack of concentration. To overcome the problem, a neurotracker training is important to be conducted in every training process to improve the athletes’ concentration. The method used in this study was an experimental method. The samples were 20 persons chosen in a non-random sampling. The subjects were divided into two groups through a random assignment, thus the number of subject in each group was ten persons. The instrument to measure the concentration was the Concentration Grid Test. The design of the study was pretest-posttest control group design. To analyze the data, t-test was used. The result of the study showed that (1) there was a significant effect of the NeuroTracker training on the improvement of the archery athlete’s concentration, (2) there was a significant effect of conventional training on the improvement of archery athlete’s concentration, (3) there was a significant difference of effect between the NeuroTracker training and conventional training in the improvement of the archery athlete’s concentration. The NeuroTracker training was better than a conventional training in increasing the archery athlete’s concentration. It is suggested that the archery trainers implement the NeuroTracker technology in the training process as it could improve the concentration of the archery athletes.

Abstract

This article examines the philosophical foundations of Islamic counseling guidance. Any scientific discipline produced by ijtihadi process must be historical. Therefore, the scientific status of a science is no longer placed parallel to the sacred doctrine, so it is taken for granted. Similarly, the existence of Islamic counseling guidance should not be placed higher above other counseling theories, or other scientific disciplines of counseling. Counseling process that is part of humanitarian activities, if used as one of the objects of scientific studies, should give birth to a scientific discipline that is historical. The right approach, therefore, appropriate for the study of it, would be more humanistic-transcendental rather than transcendental-theological. Based on the ontological studies, there is no significant ontological difference between Islamic counseling and other counseling disciplines. Both are only distinguished from the aspect of counselor status and spirit of morality that is used as paying counseling activities.---Artikel ini mengkaji tentang landasan filosofis keilmuan bimbingan konseling Islam. Setiap disiplin keilmuan dihasilkan berdasarkan proses ijtihadi pasti bersifat histories. Oleh karena itu, status keilmuan suatu ilmu tidak lagi harus ditempatkan sejajar dengan doktrin suci, sehingga bersifat taken for granted. Begitu pula dengan keberadaan bimbingan konseling Islam, sudah sepantasnya tidak ditempatkan lebih tinggi di atas teori-teori konseling yang lain, atau disiplin-disiplin keilmuan konseling lainnya. Proses konseling yang merupakan bagian dari aktifitas kemanusiaan, bila dijadikan sebagai salah satu obyek kajian keilmuan, seharusnya melahirkan suatu disiplin keilmuan yang bersifat histories. Oleh karena itu, pendekatan yang semestinya tepat untuk kajian mengenai hal itu lebih cocok bersifat humanistic-transendental, ketimbang teologis-transendental. Berdasarkan kajian ontologisnya, antara konseling Islam dengan disiplin konseling lainnya, tidak memiliki perbedaan landasan ontologis yang signifikan. Di antara keduanya hanya dibedakan dari aspek status konselornya dan spirit moralitas yang dijadikan sebagai paying aktifitas konseling.

Abstract

Keamanan adalah salah satu aspek penting dalam sebuah sistem ataupun lingkungan, terutama lingkungan perumahan yang rawan terjadi kebakaran. Kebakaran seringkali terjadi akibat kelalaian manusia yang disebabkan karena beberapa faktor seperti kebocoran tabung gas LPG (Liquid Petroleum Gas). Supaya dapat mengurangi terjadinya kebakaran, salah satunya dengan memberikan alat yang berfungsi untuk keamanan pada penggunaan tabung gas LPG. Alat yang telah dirancang adalah sebuah alat yang efisien dan terjangkau untuk mencegah sebuah kerugian yang diakibatkan oleh kebakaran dengan cara mendeteksi kebocoran gas dan api. Sistem pendeteksi adalah sebuah sistem keamanan terintegrasi secara otomatis yang dapat memberikan informasi dari suatu peristiwa atau kondisi jika ada kebocoran gas dan akan memberikan tanda berupa alarm dan pemberitahuan melalui Telegram. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan ATmega328p sebagai kontroler utama yang dilengkapi dengan sensor MQ-2 sebagai sensor pendeteksi gas dan sensor LM393 sebagai sensor pendeteksi api. Sebagai bentuk implementasi IoT dari alat pendeteksi gas dan api ini, dibuatkan sistem transmisi data bolak-balik dari perangkat ke aplikasi via internet menggunakan modul wifi ESP8266. Hasil dari pengujian yang telah dilakukan, sensor dapat mendeteksi api dengan gelombang lebih dari 760 nm pada jarak ≤ 15 cm. Dan untuk pengujian sensor gas, sensor dapat mendeteksi kebocoran pada jarak ≤ 70 cm secara akurat. Sedangkan untuk proses transmisi data dari perangkat keras ke perangkat lunak telegram dibutuhkan waktu rata-rata 5,61 detik untuk sensor api dan 3,90 detik untuk sensor gas supaya notifikasi sampai ke ponsel pengguna.

Abstract

Purpose: Making a conceptual model that can provide the policy strategy in accelerating the adoption of industry 4.0 in Small and Medium Industries (SMI) using lean manufacturing approach.Methodology: Using the conceptualization process in system dynamics methodology to get causal relation among the factors which can affect the implementation of industry 4.0 in Small and Medium Industries. The lean management approach was used to get these factors and compile their causal relation with readiness of industry 4.0 as a conceptual model.Result: A conceptual model that shows important variables and its relationship structure that could be used in better understanding the adoption proceeses of Industry 4.0 technology. Several interconnection loops are identified in the conceptual model that can be the basis for better policy design by focusing on adjusting one or more variables in the loops, in the manner of understand the relationships that occur in the conceptual model, the government can predict the outcome of the policy to be implemented. Applications/Originality/Value: Providing a better understanding of adoption process for better policymaking by the Indonesian government, particularly the Ministry of Industry, to encourage the readiness of industry 4.0 implementation in Small and Medium Industries.
