Abstract

Kegiatan tersebut bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengajar bahasa Inggris para peserta, yang merupakan calon guru bahasa Inggris. Kegiatan ini melibatkan tiga kampus di Serang, Banten, yaitu Universitas Bina Bangsa, Universitas Faletehan, dan STKIP Situs Banten. Acara ini dilaksanakan di STKIP Situs Banten pada tanggal 6 Maret 2023 dengan total peserta 50 orang dari ketiga universitas tersebut. Melalui acara ini, mahasiswa jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris dapat memperluas pengetahuan mereka tentang pengajaran bahasa Inggris yang efektif dan sesuai dengan era 5.0 untuk Generasi Z. Acara ini diharapkan dapat bermanfaat bagi para siswa dan guru mereka. Acara ini diharapkan dapat memberikan manfaat dalam menghadapi tantangan baru dalam pendidikan bahasa Inggris, dengan mempersiapkan calon guru bahasa Inggris di era digital yang semakin maju. Dengan kerjasama antara universitas-universitas tersebut, peserta memiliki kesempatan untuk berbagi pengalaman, ide, dan praktik terbaik dalam pengajaran bahasa Inggris. Acara ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang metode pengajaran bahasa Inggris yang efektif, teknologi pendidikan terkini, dan pendekatan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan anak muda saat ini. Dengan peningkatan pemahaman tersebut, calon guru bahasa Inggris akan lebih siap menghadapi perubahan dan tantangan dunia pendidikan yang terus berkembang.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the reading interest of grade 5 students at SDIT Widya Cendekia before and after using assemblr media, and to determine the influence of Assemblr media on reading interest of grade 5th students at SDIT Widya Cendekia. This type of research is quantitative using experimental research methods with the form of pre-experimental research type one group pre-test post-test design. The population in this study were 16 bilingual 5th-grade students at SDIT Widya Cendekia AY 2022/2023. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling because the population is relatively small, namely less than 30. The number of samples used is the entire population, namely 16 students. Data collection techniques are observation, interview, questionnaires, and literature. Based on the results of the analysis, The average of each indicator and the pre-test and post-test results show that students' learning interest has increased. Additionally, in tests, it explains why the t-distribution table's pre-test stage and post-test stage t-values are 2.81 and 2.131, respectively, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. According to the decision-making foundation in the sample t-pairs, it can be deduced from the -table > t-value that Ha was accepted and Ho was denied, indicating that there was a connection between the usage of augmented reality media and students' interest in reading at SDIT Widya Cendekia

Abstract

This study examines the moral values in the song lyrics of Price Tag by Jessie J. . The song critiques the growing focus on materialism and emphasizes the importance of love, happiness, and authenticity in life. The research aims to identify and analyze the moral messages conveyed through the song, using a qualitative approach to explore the lyrics and categorize the moral themes. The analysis reveals that the song advocates for a shift in societal focus—from the pursuit of wealth and material possessions to prioritizing emotional well-being and human connection. The moral values identified in the lyrics include love and affection, bravery, sympathy, and honesty. The findings suggest that the song calls for a shift in focus—from valuing money and possessions to prioritizing emotional well-being, human relationships, and genuine happiness. The most frequent moral value expressed in the song is love and affection, with the lyrics urging listeners to "pay with love" and to prioritize emotional connections over material wealth. In conclusion, Price Tag offers a critique of materialism while encouraging listeners to value love and unity. The study highlights the power of music as a tool for spreading moral messages and inspiring positive change in society, especially in an era where consumerism often overshadows more meaningful pursuits.
