Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of segmenting, targeting and positioning in the Kinilow bamboo handicraft home industry. This research was conducted from December to February 2020. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Primary data taken from Kinilow home industry players is related tomeasure ments segmenting, targeting and positioning which are qualitative data. Secondary data taken in this study, are related to research and industry players Kinilow. The results of this research shows that in consumers segmenting with psychographicand behavioristic with segmentning selected to determine targeting is behaviolistic because they had advantages such as knowledge of the product itself with good sales results because the actors know the advantages of the product being sold. Positioning is done by looking at the position according to attributes, according to benefits, according to use, according to competitors, and according to price. Because of this measure, consumers understand the product and the positioning issuccessful. Keywords : Segmenting, Targeting, and Positioning

Abstract

The existence of agricultural extension agents in Sidodadi Village is important because of the lack of knowledge and public awareness of the importance of this extension. The ability of farmers to obtain agricultural information and technology is a reflection of the confidence in the extension activities. Therefore, it is necessary to examine how the farmers' perceptions of the performance of field agricultural extension agents.The objective of this research is to determine farmers' perceptions of the performance of field agricultural instructors in Sidodadi Village, Sangkub Sub District, Bolaang Mongondow Utara Regency. This research was conducted from December 2019 to February 2020. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained through direct interviews with 30 respondents using a questionnaire measured using a Likert scale. Secondary data obtained from books, journals, BPS (Central Statistics Agency), Village Offices and BPP (Agricultural Extension Center).Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the farmers' perceptions of the performance of the agricultural extension agents in Sidodadi Village are overall good. This is evidenced by the results of the interpretation of the value of farmers' perceptions on the performance of the extension workers, which was 84 percent.Keywords: Farmers' Perception, Agricultural Instructor Performance

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the income received by “captikus” business farmers in West Wuwuk Village, Tareran District, South Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi Province. The research was conducted from October 2019 to August 2020. This research was a quantitative research. The data were collected by means of structured interviews using a questionnaire, to 6 “captikus” producers who were selected intentionally (purposive sampling method) from 15 active “captikus” producers in West Wuwuk Village. The data analysis method used in this research was income analysis by calculating the difference between revenue and the amount of costs used per week. The results showed that the average income received by captikus farmers in Wuwuk Barat Village Tareran District, South Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi Province was IDR 992,934.14 per week.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the profits and to determine the Break Event Point (BEP) of the Home Industry of Clove Leaf Oil Refining in Atoga Village, Mongkad District, Bolaang Mongondow Timur Regency. This research was carried out from December 2021 to March 2021. The sampling method in this study was the Purposive Sampling method. The data used in this study were primary data obtained through direct interviews with farmers using a list of questions (questionnaires) that have been prepared and field observations, and secondary data obtained from the internet and related agencies. Data Analysis used in this study was the analysis of business profits in one week or two times of  the production process and calculating the Break Event Point (BEP) of clove leaf oil refining as well as  analyzing the business feasibility of R/C.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to determine the social capital and sustainability of captikus farming during the pandemic in Kali Oki Village, Tombatu Sub District, Southeast Minahasa Regency. The research was conducted from June to August 2021. The data collected in this study were primary data obtained from direct interviews with captikus farmers using a questionnaire. Secondary data were obtained from the Kali Oki Village Office, as well as data related to research taken from the internet. Sampling was carried out by means of Simple Random Sampling, namely as many as 25 samples.The research results showed that the social capital and sustainability of Captikus farming during the pandemic in Kali Oki Village, Tombatu Sub District, Southeast Minahasa Regency were categorized as very good. This can be seen from the components of social capital, namely: norms, trust and networks which are categorized as very good, and sustainability components, namely the provision of media, capital, marketing and obtaining information and technology which are categorized as good.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to calculate and analyze the profits of the home industry of Mr. Hamid's Robusta coffee, red bean powder. The data used in May 2021. The analysis of the data used in this study is an analysis of the profits of the home industry of "Hamid" red bean robusta coffee by calculating the difference between the revenue and the total cost used. Based on the results and discussions that have been carried out, it can be concluded that Mr. Hamid's business is profitable. The home industry business of red bean powder robusta coffee incurs a production cost of Rp. 2,435.012 with a profit rate obtained by the home industry of red bean powder robusta coffee in May 2021 of Rp. 2,464,988. To compare other businesses from previous studies, the calculation of revenue cost analysis where the R/C value of this business is 2.0, meaning that the home industry business of Mr. Hamid's red bean powder robusta coffee is higher, so this business is feasible to be maintained.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to determine the marketing strategy of  herbal medicine in the era of the covid 19 pandemic in MSMEs Berkat Manado. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained from direct interviews with consumers and MSME owners. The number of respondents was 15 consumers who were randomly selected in supermarkets where MSME products were sold. The sampling technique in this study was carried out by accidental sampling or taking respondents as sampling by chance. Based on the results of research on the marketing strategy of  herbal medicine in SMEs thanks to the pandemic, the implementation carried out by SMEs has been running but there are some that are still not good because they are not optimal due to the limitations of the owner in several aspects such as technology. The strategy carried out by the UMKM is good and very good in the product aspect, namely the quality of raw materials and the large variety of products, in the price aspect, namely the product price range, in the place aspect, namely the ease of buying products, in the process aspect, namely product availability, in the people aspect, namely the seller's initiative towards consumer needs, in the aspect of physical evidence, namely products that are neatly arranged and dust on the packaging. What needs to be improved on the price aspect is giving discounts, on the promotional aspect, namely the variety of promotional media.
