Abstract

Early childhood development depends on the ability to stimulate brain neurons (nerves) at age (0-8 years), while brain development stops at the age of 18 years. If neurons are not stimulated, they will experience shrinkage which result in a person’ intelligence level. The crucial peak in providing brain stimulation for children is in the early age range, namely 0-8 years, where at the age of 8 years their development reaches 80 percent. This research aims to find and explain the gici-gici games in stimulating early childhood intelligence. The research method uses descriptive qualitative research. Gici-gici games are traditional educational game that can be used in stimulating early childhood intelligence. As a result, playing gici-gici games can increase multiple intelligences. Keywords: gici-gici game; traditional educational games; early childhood; multiple intelligences; neurologyAbstrakPerkembangan anak usia dini tergantung pada kemampuan menstimulasi neuron (syaraf) otak pada usia (0-8 tahun), sedangkan perkembangan otak berhenti pada usia 18 tahun. Puncak krusial dalam memberikan stimulasi otak anak berada pada rentang usia dini, yaitu 0-8 tahun, di mana pada usia 8 tahun perkembangannya mencapai 80 persen. Abstract

Cultural traditions in Indonesia are very diverse, including the Mawe tradition on Buru Island, Maluku which is believed to be able to provide clues to uncover cases or problems that often occur. Uniquely, this tradition uses the spirits of deceased ancestors, which is a ritual led by traditional elders to provide clues that can explain a problem. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach and analysis of supporting Bible verses. As a result, from the theological studies conducted, it is known that rituals of seances have also been carried out in the biblical tradition, but it is clear that this tradition is contrary to the Bible. The Christian theological view is very clear that believers are not justified under any circumstances to perform seances because it is a form of syncretism.

Abstract

This article analyzes a Community Service Program carried out by the Master of Theology Study Program of STT Real Batam at GBI My Home Tanjung Uban Kota on 24 to 26 January 2026 as a model for the downstream transfer of Trinitarian research grounded in the exegetical study of Deuteronomy 6:4. The approach employed is community-based participatory research, utilizing theological seminars, Bible study, interactive discussion, and doctrinal mentoring. The analysis demonstrates that translating the results of lexical and grammatical exegesis of the concept of eḥāḏ into the catechetical space of the congregation produces a significant strengthening of Trinitarian literacy, particularly in distinguishing the complex oneness of God from both tritheistic and modalistic misconceptions. The findings affirm that the downstream transfer of theological research is not merely a dissemination of knowledge but a formative pedagogical process that strengthens the hermeneutical capacity of congregants in responding to contemporary theological challenges. The article contributes by formulating a model of research-based community engagement that integrates the framework of practical theology with the tradition of public theology within the context of local Indonesian congregations. Its practical implication calls upon theological higher education institutions to position community service as a strategic pathway for the transformation of theological knowledge, rather than treating it as a mere supplementary element of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.
