Abstract

Background stroke is a sudden loss of brain function, caused by impaired blood flow to the brain (ischemic stroke) or rupture of blood vessels in the brain (hemorrhagic stroke). Active range of motion (rom) is a joint motion exercise that allows contraction and movement of muscles, where the client moves each of the joints according to normal movement either actively or passively. In kedunggupit village there are 2 respondents who have muscle stiffness. To overcome muscle weakness given nonfarmakologi treatment with active rom exerises. The Purpose of this study is to know how to reduce muscle weakness with active rom exercrises.MethodsThis type of research is a qualitative research with a descriptive case study approach. The Populationin this research is all community of kedunggupit village that experience weakness of member of motion with 2 responden. The research instrumentof this study using standard surgical procedures (SOP) measurement of muscle strength and observation sheet. Test data analysisreview data interview and observation. Resultsthere are 2 respondents who experienced muscle stiffness. To overcome the problem of muscle stiffness respondent given active rom exercises. Active ROM was done every morning and evening with time every exercise 20 minutes for 1 month. All respondents were increased in muscle streng from 2 untile 3 scale.Conclusionthe active ROM was effectiveed to increased of muscle strength in stroke patients.

Abstract

An overview of the object of research to are self-efficacy in therapeutic communication is a crucial competency for nurses to provide patient-centered care and ensure effective interactions during clinical practice. Differences in clinical experience can influence predictors of self-efficacy in therapeutic communication. Research objectives to analyze predictors of self-efficacy in therapeutic communication among novice and experienced nurses at dr. Soediran Mangun Sumarso General Hospital, Wonogiri. Proposed methods is A quantitative analytical cross-sectional study was conducted among 100 nurses selected using stratified proportional random sampling. Data were collected using the Self-Efficacy in Therapeutic Communication for Nurses (SETC-N) questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression. Results: Predictors significantly associated with self-efficacy among novice nurses included work stress (β = −0.312, p < 0.05) and communication training (β = 0.421, p < 0.01). Among experienced nurses, organizational support (β = 0.388, p < 0.01) and empathy (β = 0.274, p < 0.05) were the strongest predictors. The total explained variance was 52.6% for novice nurses and 48.2% for experienced nurses. Conclusion: Predictors of communication self-efficacy differ between novice and experienced nurses. These findings underscore the need for targeted interventions based on experience level to strengthen communication competency.
