Abstract

Kata Kunci : kaum Kristen Luwu bagian Selatan, DI/TII, Lamasi, TNI-AD AbtractThis research and writing aims to find out the background to the exodus of Southern Luwu Christians in 1951, how efforts to rescue refugees were carried out by Southern Luwu Christians during 1952-1953, how the process of forming Seriti Village in 1954 was carried out. This research uses qualitative methods with historical approach. Data collection techniques use interviews and observation. From this research it is known that the Christians in southern Luwu during the DI/TII movement were Christians who lived in southern Luwu who were forced to convert to Islam and wanted to be recruited as members of DI/TII, so they carried out self-saving or refuge in the Lamasi/TII area. North Luwu. On their journey, they explored the forest, which was led by village heads, the local government and TNI-AD Battalion 506 Sriti at that time, some of them were entrusted to the Javanese community in Lamasi and some of them carried out site inspections with the village head named Mangentang. wood to the ground, if the wood becomes longer, it means that the land is suitable for habitation by Christians in southern Luwu at that time, then when the location has been found, four months later the families still in southern Luwu follow them to the Lamasi area and are assisted in the process. by TNI-AD Battalion 506 Sriti. This confirms that the Southern Luwu Christians still adhere to their beliefs even though their lives are at stake and until they are finally able to survive the harassment and threats from DI/TII. DI/TII are said to be state rebels because they want to change the ideology of Pancasila into an Islamic state. As is known, Indonesia was formed because of the high enthusiasm of various regions, religions, ethnicities and groups, therefore these differences should be the basis for thinking and developing this country. Keywords: Southern Luwu Christians, DI/TII, Lamasi, TNI-AD
