Abstract

The split attribute in the decision tree algorithm, especially C4.5, has an important influence in producing a decision tree performance that has high predictive performance. This study aims to perform an attribute split in the C4.5 algorithm using the value of the termination coefficient (R2/R Square) which is combined with the aim of increasing the performance of the model performance produced by the C4.5 algorithm itself. The data used in this research are public datasets and private datasets. This study combines the C4.5 algorithm developed by Quinlan. The results in this study indicate that the use of the R2 value in the C4.5 algorithm has good performance in terms of accuracy and recall because three of the four datasets used have a higher value than the C4.5 algorithm without R2. Whereas in the aspect of precision, it has quite good performance because only two datasets have a higher value than the performance results of the algorithm without R2.

Abstract

User experience is one of the key factors in determining the success of an application, because it plays an important role in providing impressions and comfort to users. This research aims to evaluate the user experience of the RT-RW NET Customer Governance application using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) method, a method designed to measure important aspects of user experience. A total of 33 respondents who were active users of this application were involved in the research. The results of the analysis show that the aspects of attractiveness, clarity, efficiency and stimulation received positive assessments, with the highest scores for attractiveness (1.84) and clarity (1.82). However, the novelty aspect received a lower score (1.79), indicating a need for further development and innovation. The conclusion of this research is that the RT-RW NET Customer Governance application provides a good and satisfying user experience, but improvements need to be made in the novelty aspect so that this application can reach a more optimal and competitive level of user experience. This research contributes to developers in understanding the strengths and weaknesses of applications to support the development of better applications in the future.

Abstract

Digitalization is not only developing in companies and public school but is also developing in Madrasah schools such as what happened at Madrasah MA Al-Djufri which is located in the Blumbungan, Pamekasan, based on private schools that currently have minimal use of the system. The service here will provide a website combined with Excel and also the application of QR Codes in implementing daily attendance. The existing opportunities must be used as a spark for enthusiasm to improve and innovate so that they can progress and develop. This activity seeks to provide a solution for private madrasas that do not yet have a website. This service through practical work uses a participatory action research approach. Technically, it is carried out through five stages of competition-based service which include preparation, training, mentoring, competition, and appreciation. The real result of this service activity is the existence of a website in the form of a QR code and Excel to support progress at MA Al-Djufri which previously was still not good. As many as 94% of madrasas stated that in general the implementation of community service activities was carried out very well.

Abstract

Background: Efficient water management is crucial for sustainable agriculture, particularly in regions with limited water resources. Drip irrigation systems, when integrated with the Internet of Things (IoT), offer a promising solution to optimize water usage and enhance agricultural productivity. Objective: This study aims to develop an IoT-based drip irrigation system to improve water efficiency and support small-scale farmers by providing a cost-effective and adaptable solution. Methods: The system employs multiple sensors to monitor key environmental parameters, including soil moisture, air temperature, and water levels in the tank. The collected data is transmitted to the ThingSpeak cloud platform via an Android application for real-time monitoring and control. Performance metrics such as sensor reaction time, solenoid valve response time, and pump response time were analyzed to evaluate system effectiveness. Results: Experimental findings show that the system effectively monitors and regulates irrigation, with an average sensor reaction time of 2.95 seconds, a solenoid valve response time of 2.75 seconds, and a pump response time of 2.3 seconds. The system successfully automates irrigation, ensuring optimal water usage. Conclusion: The IoT-based drip irrigation system enhances water resource management, increases crop yield, and reduces operational costs. While the system demonstrates high efficiency, further research could focus on scalability, integration with predictive analytics, and adaptation to different crop types and environmental conditions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang atau mengembangkan sebuah aplikasi profile perusahaan sebagai digital branding untuk memenuhi kebutuhan tim dalam mempresentasikan sebuah informasi perusahaan secara efektif tanpa merubah data yang telah ada. Branding atau promosi merupakan suatu bentuk implementasi untuk meningkatkan penjualan produk atau jasa yang telah di terapkan di semua perusahaan. Sejak berdirinya perusahaan ini belum memiliki media promosi bahkan media informasi seperti perusahaan lainnya. Sehingga perusahaan ini membutuhkan sistem informasi aplikasi profile berbasis website sebagai digital branding. Kami merancang aplikasi profil tersebut menggunakan HTML, CSS, dan JavaScript. Hasil yang telah didapat dari perancangan aplikasi profile berbasis website tersebut dinyatakan berhasil dengan melakukan uji coba menggunakan perbandingan dari hasil survey kepada karyawan perusahaan dan responden lainnya.

Abstract

Pengolahan data yang efisien berperan penting dalam pengembangan aplikasi berbasis JavaScript. Teknik native menggunakan API bawaan JavaScript, sementara Redux Toolkit menawarkan solusi lebih terstruktur dengan fitur seperti slice dan middleware. Penelitian ini bertujuan membandingkan kedua teknik berdasarkan waktu eksekusi query API dan kompleksitas implementasi kode menggunakan dataset desa di Indonesia yang terdiri dari 83.809 entri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Redux Toolkit lebih efisien dalam menangani data kompleks dengan waktu eksekusi 5,50 milidetik, dibandingkan dengan teknik native yang memerlukan 189,80 milidetik, sehingga Redux Toolkit 34,5 kali lebih cepat. Selain itu, Redux Toolkit memberikan konsistensi state yang lebih baik dan mengurangi potensi bug yang sering muncul dalam pengelolaan state secara manual. Meskipun implementasinya lebih kompleks karena memerlukan pemahaman konsep seperti reducers, actions, dan store, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Redux Toolkit lebih unggul dalam pengolahan data dengan efisiensi waktu yang lebih baik dalam proses query API. Keunggulan Redux Toolkit juga terlihat dalam skalabilitas aplikasi, di mana pengelolaan state yang terpusat memudahkan pengembang dalam mengintegrasikan fitur baru. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan bagi pengembang dalam memilih teknik pengolahan data yang sesuai untuk meningkatkan performa dan kualitas aplikasi berbasis JavaScript, terutama pada proyek yang memerlukan penanganan data dalam skala besar. Dengan demikian, Redux Toolkit dapat menjadi pilihan utama untuk aplikasi yang memprioritaskan kecepatan dan konsistensi dalam pengolahan data.

Abstract

This research addresses the challenge of declining soil fertility in Pamekasan, East Java, by proposing a machine learning approach to improve the accuracy of soil fertility classification and provide data-driven recommendations. Conventional methods like linear regression and expert systems are limited in capturing the complexity of soil variables, leading to less accurate results. Therefore, this study compares the performance of two machine learning algorithms, Random Forest and XGBoost, in classifying soil fertility levels based on nutrient content (N, P, K, and micronutrients) and soil pH. The dataset, consisting of 880 soil samples from Pamekasan, revealed an imbalance, with the high-fertility class accounting for only 39 samples. After data preprocessing, both models were evaluated. The Random Forest model achieved an overall accuracy of 90.34%, slightly outperforming XGBoost, which reached 88.64%. Random Forest demonstrated superior performance in detecting low-fertility land (recall 0.97) and medium-fertility land (precision 0.93, recall 0.88). For the high-fertility minority class, Random Forest showed better recall (0.60) than XGBoost (0.40), while maintaining perfect precision (1.00). The study concludes that Random Forest is the optimal model for classifying soil fertility in Pamekasan. These findings provide a basis for more precise, efficient, and sustainable fertilization recommendations, which are expected to help farmers optimize productivity and support the sustainability of the local agricultural ecosystem by reducing excessive fertilizer use.
