Abstract

Plastic is one material that is often used by humans for various things, such as bags of groceries to food packaging. Plastic is a popular material used in common be- cause it is considered practical. On the other side, plastic also harms the environment if it is not used, because of the nature of the plastic that is difficult to decompose even though it has buried for decades. The increase in plastic waste that sourcing from daily activity needs to address immediately; one of them is through socialization and exposure to the public on the importance of reducing plastic waste. Public Service Announcements (PSA) are quite useful in informing an appeal to the public because they place more emphasis on the public interest that seeks to in-still awareness about the social issues in circulation. PSA can implement through information media such as newspapers, radio, posters to multimedia such as audio-visual media, which are increasingly popular these days due to the rapid development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). In designing PSA, one of the stages that needs to be done is the creation of storyboards in the pre-production stage. The storyboard contains technical indicators such as picture descriptions, cameras, lighting and supporting properties visualized in the sketch. The suitability and the smooth production of advertisements or cinema are very dependent on the preproduction stage, one of which is the creation of storyboards.

Abstract

Film and television works in the form of audio-visual media are the youngest fields of art compared to other branches of art. As with other sectors, in Indonesia itself regulations for art are also governed by rules and laws (laws), both in terms of production, distribution and consumption. Not to limit creativity, but these rules are enforced to protect consumers (art connoisseurs) and the artists themselves from misuse of works of art such as elements of pornography, copyright abuse and so on. This paper is a descriptive analysis supported by literature on television and film available in libraries and online media.

Abstract

This study examines how narrative and cinematic constructions in the short films of Banyumas Raya, Indonesia, contribute to the formation of a distinct Panginyongan film identity. Focusing on three fictional film works, Dolanan Layangan, Pur, and SETAN: Seni Tani, this research employs a qualitative content analysis method grounded in Bordwell's film concept, integrated with theories of realism (Bazin), creative improvisation (Sawyer), and identity representation (Hall). The findings reveal a synergistic construction of identity through three interconnected themes: (1) narratives centered on everyday conflicts resolved through communal values, (2) a realist-improvisational aesthetic using long takes, natural lighting, and non-professional actors to achieve authenticity, and (3) the use of the Ngapak language and local cultural symbols as markers of identity and symbolic resistance. The study concludes that these films function not merely as cultural representations but as active sites of identity negotiation. Furthermore, it proposes a Panginyongan Film Identity Model that synthesizes these elements, offering a framework for understanding similar practices in other Indonesian regional cinemas. This research underscores the significance of local cinema as a vital cultural practice that challenges mainstream aesthetics and contributes to Indonesia's diverse national cinematic landscape.
