Abstract

The research focused on the following questions with the hope of elucidating the methods used by the Head of Madrasah Aliyah Raudlatut Thalibin Bantungan Panarukan Situbondo to enhance the quality of the educational process: If you were to ask about the education system at MA Raudlatut Thalibin Bantungan Panarukan Situbondo, what would you say? (2) How does the principal of MA Raudlatut Thalibin Bantungan Panarukan Situbondo plan to enhance the educational experience for students in the Pandemic era? Qualitative methods were employed to describe the data. The researcher gathered information via interviews, field notes, and other first-hand accounts, as well as secondary sources that shed light on the topic at hand. Reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions were the steps in this study's data analysis procedure. The following are the findings from studies conducted at MA Raudlatut Thalibin, Bantungan Panarukan, Situbondo: (2) Strategies for the Head of the Madrasa to apply in increasing the quality of the learning process at MA Raudlatut Thalibin, Bantungan Panarukan Situbondo; (1) the quality of the learning process has increased at MA Raudlatut Thalibin, Bantungan Panarukan Situbondo, during the pandemic period.

Abstract

The purpose of this research: 1). To determine the performance of teachers and the quality of education in MTs Nurul Hikam Kapongan. 2). To find out the leadership of madrasah principals’ performance and education quality. 3). To find out the supporting and habiting factors of madrasah leadership in improving teacher performance and the quality of education in MTs Nurul Hikam Kapongan Situbondo. In this study, a qualitative approach was used with a field observation study design. Data collection techniques with in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documented studies. The collected data is analyzed repeatedly. The credibility of the data is checked and matched between the results of the interview and the existing documents. The result of the study indicates that the decision-making is carried out by the head of the madrasah by considering the humanitarian side (high tolerance). Sometimes assisted by subordinates and sometimes the foundation participates in a structured, planned, programmed, and flexible process.

Abstract

Character education is an educational approach that aims to develop moral and ethical values ??in students. In addition, local wisdom is an important aspect of character education that focuses on introducing, understanding, and appreciating cultural values, customs, traditions, and community norms in the local environment. This study aims to describe Character Education from the Perspective of Local Wisdom at MI NU Miftahul Ulum Tonggowa Jatiarjo, Prigen District, Pasuruan Regency. This research is a qualitative research with a case study approach. The results of the study show that character education both inside and outside of Madrasah, teachers have tried to apply it by associating character education values ??with local wisdom. Religious character, disciplinary character, social caring character. application of the results obtained from character education from the perspective of local wisdom with several factors that can influence student character education at MINU Miftahul Ulum Tonggowa. the perspective of local wisdom, namely factors originating from the cooperation support of the madrasa, support from the authorities (Ratoh), support from parents (Bhuppa'-Bhabhu) students who are sensitive and understand this. Another factor in character education from the perspective of local wisdom is the background of the students who are Madurese, in practice there is still a lack of supervision from the teacher, more and more of the younger generation are working outside, the value of local wisdom in the family has been lost.
