Abstract

Starting from the thought that one of the things to do in overcoming life's problems is to rely on the values of Islamic teachings. Of the many values of Islamic teachings, among them are the values that exist in Islamic economics. It is known that Islamic economics is an economic system based on the main teachings of the Qur'an and hadith. Through a study with a simple approach and methodology, this paper underlines that from the nature to the theory and practice of Islamic economics is based on helping and for the benefit of people at all levels of society. Therefore, it is said, Islamic economics has good prospects, because it is not only an alternative and solution, but an economic locomotive in the midst of world economic problems, especially in Indonesia. However, although Islamic economics is an ideal system, especially for Muslims in Indonesia, it is certainly not free from weaknesses or problems in its implementation, both related to human resources as managers, business capital, infrastructure and in competition with conventional economic systems globally.

Abstract

The main theme of this paper is the issue of da'wah ethics, related to the development of da'wah in Indonesia today. Da'wah that we understand as an invitation to do good and prevent evil is highly recommended in Islamic teachings, as in the Qur'an and hadith. By using analysis through observation of the phenomena that arise from the practices of da'wah in society today, it provides a clue that the development of da'wah in addition to the appearance of progress as a positive thing, but the reality in practice, there are also things that can be considered negative. Especially that can be considered negative, because there are some or unscrupulous da'i or muballig who preach is considered not in accordance with the ethics of da'wah. In general, preachers are considered to deviate from the ethics of da'wah, in addition to the impression that their words and actions do not match, they also deliberately utter many words that are inappropriate according to the social ethics that grow and are obeyed in society, the ethics of state law and ethics originating from Islamic teachings.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji integrasi antara nilai-nilai Islam dan kearifan lokal dalam tradisi Doi’ Pallawa Wanua serta relevansinya terhadap pembentukan karakter bangsa. Permasalahan ini penting dikaji dalam konteks upaya memperkuat karakter bangsa berbasis moderasi beragama di tengah masyarakat multikultural Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan dilakukan di Kecamatan Cina, Kabupaten Bone, Sulawesi Selatan. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi terhadap tokoh adat, tokoh agama, dan masyarakat Bugis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tradisi Doi’ Pallawa Wanua mengandung nilai-nilai luhur seperti penghormatan terhadap otoritas, tanggung jawab sosial, ukhuwah, tawakkul, dan ta’awun. Nilai-nilai tersebut mencerminkan keterpaduan antara norma adat dan ajaran Islam, serta berkontribusi terhadap pembentukan karakter kolektif masyarakat Bugis. Tradisi ini tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai praktik budaya, tetapi juga sebagai mekanisme pendidikan informal yang mentransmisikan nilai-nilai moral lintas generasi. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa Doi’ Pallawa Wanua dapat diposisikan sebagai model pendidikan karakter berbasis budaya lokal dan nilai keislaman yang relevan untuk penguatan karakter bangsa dalam kerangka pembangunan sosial yang berkelanjutan.
