Abstract

Tafsir ayat-ayat kemasyarakatan dalam Al-Quran menjadi semakin relevan dalam konteks kehidupan modern yang kompleks. Artikel ini membahas pentingnya pendekatan tafsir ayat-ayat kemasyarakatan sebagai sarana untuk mengimplementasikan nilai-nilai kemanusiaan yang terkandung dalam Al-Quran ke dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Melalui metode analisis kualitatif, artikel ini mengidentifikasi ayat-ayat Al-Quran yang berhubungan dengan interaksi sosial, tanggung jawab kolektif, dan kepedulian terhadap sesama. Artikel ini juga menyoroti urgensi nilai-nilai kemanusiaan tersebut dalam menanggapi tantangan kompleks seperti kemiskinan, ketidakadilan, dan krisis lingkungan. Dengan memahami makna ayat-ayat kemasyarakatan secara komprehensif, masyarakat modern dapat mengadaptasi dan mengaplikasikan prinsip-prinsip universal dari Al-Quran untuk membentuk masyarakat yang lebih adil, inklusif, dan berempati. Hasil dari penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi berarti dalam pengembangan studi tafsir dan pemikiran Islam kontemporer. Selain itu, artikel ini memberikan pemahaman lebih dalam tentang bagaimana Al-Quran dapat menjadi sumber inspirasi bagi solusi sosial dan kemanusiaan dalam tantangan-tantangan global yang dihadapi umat manusia pada era modern ini.

Abstract

This article presents a bibliometric analysis of research trends in "Character Education" based on the Scopus database from 2018 to 2023. Data collection involved 569 metadata of relevant articles in the field of character education from reputable sources. The study aims to provide a comprehensive insight into the scientific development in the field of character education and identify key topics and contributors in academic studies during this period. The bibliometric analysis method was used to examine research trends, topic classifications, and author and institutional collaborations. The research results indicate that character education has become a significant issue in the realm of education during this timeframe, with a noteworthy growth in research attention. Top contributing authors and university affiliations were also identified, highlighting inter-institutional collaborations and continuity in building knowledge in the field of character education. The findings from this bibliometric analysis can provide direction and guidance for academics, researchers, and practitioners in developing more effective character education strategies that positively impact moral and ethical development among students and individuals in society. This article has the potential to make a significant contribution to understanding trends and future directions in "Character Education" research and enhancing comprehension of the challenges and opportunities in this field.

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the implementation of local culture-based character education in junior high schools across Bima City, NTB. Employing a cross-sectional survey design, the research focused specifically on SMPN 5 Bima City and SMPN 1 Bima City, involving 50 students and 50 teachers. Data were collected using questionnaires and documentation methods, resulting in the creation of two validated and reliable questionnaires, with reliability coefficients of 0.953 for the teacher questionnaire and 0.919 for the student questionnaire. The findings provide insights into the application of character education, revealing that the levels of honesty, discipline, responsibility, courtesy, and cooperation among teachers and students are generally moderate. The study also highlights how local cultural elements, such as Santabe Culture (politeness), Maja Labo Dahu Culture (modesty and caution), Nggahi Rawi Pahu Culture (integrity), and Su'u sa wau tundu sa wale Culture (responsibility), can be effectively integrated into character education frameworks at these schools.
