Abstract

Energy is very important for human life, but now the energy is getting decreased because of the increasing energy consumption that is not balance with the supply. In order to overcome these problem many alternative energy has been developed, one of which is solar energy. However the problem is low level of efficiency because the position of solar panels with the sun becomes very important. For optimum solar energy with optimal crossing there are two things to be aware of the elevation angle and azimuth angle. Both angles will be the control points of the solar panels, and these two angles are obtained from sensor readings of gyro sensors for elevation angles and compasses for azimuth angles. Further processed into microcontroller by using PID controller (Proportional, Integral, Derivative) to controll DC motor in solar panel position scheduling according to solar path. With the use of PID controls can improve the response on the motor thus reducing steady state errors and can provide damping effects on the oscillation system. So the schedule of solar panel position according to the path of the sun is well controlledKeywords : Solar Tracking, PID,  Solar Panel, Elevation Angle, Azimuth AngleAbstrak - Energi sangat penting bagi kehidupan manusia, namun kini energi semakin menurun karena meningkatnya konsumsi energi yang tidak seimbang dengan supply. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini banyak energi alternatif telah dikembangkan, salah satunya adalah energi surya. Namun masalahnya adalah rendahnya tingkat efisiensi karena pentingnya posisi panel surya dengan matahari. Oleh karena itu diperlukan penjadwalan posisi panel surya sesuai dengan lintasan matahari. Untuk mendapatkan energi matahari yangs esuai dengan lintasnnya secara optimal ada dua hal yang harus diperhatikan sudut elevasi dan sudut azimuth. Kedua sudut ini akan menjadi titik kontrol panel surya,  dan kedua sudut tersebut didapatkan dari pembacaan sensor yaitu sensor gyro untuk sudut elevasi dan kompas untuk sudut azimuth. Selanjutnya diolah kedalam mikrokontroller dengan menggunakan pengontrol PID (Proporsional, Integral, Derivatif) untuk mengontroll motor DC dalam penjadwalan posisi panel surya sesuai lintasan matahari. Dengan penggunaan kontrol PID dapat memperbaiki respon pada motor sehingga mengurangi error steady state dan dapat memberikan efek redaman pada sistem osilasi. Sehingga jadwal posisi panel surya sesuai lintasan matahari terkontrol dengan baikKata Kunci : Panel Surya , PID,  Sudut Elevasi, Sudut Azimut

Abstract

At Present, many schools have used wireless networks that are used to support wired networks. Cable network is used as an amplifier of access point to make internet access for users. The problems of networking using these cables can be a major constraint to inaccessible places that can reduce the flexibility of usage. The solution for this problem is to develop and implement Wireless Distribution System (WDS) on the access point. WDS is a system to develop wireless internet network without having to use cable as backbone for access point but to take advantage of wireless network path from access point. The parameters used in the WDS system are the parameters of jitter, througput, delay and packet loss. WDS performance can be analyzed so that will be known comparison of access point performance results with cable backbone.Keywords: AP (Access Point), WDS,  Wireless Network

Abstract

This study aims to develop an SAVI-based physics teaching module with appropriate scientific content to improve students' critical thinking skills. This research is a research and development research. The module development model used is a 4D model (four D model). The four stages are Define, Design, Development and Disseminate proposed by Thiagarajan. The development of this module is assessed based on the feasibility of the content, presentation, and language of the module and then tested on students. After being revised, the module was then tested in the science class. Collecting data in this study using test questions. The result of this research is that the SAVI-based physics teaching module to improve students' critical thinking skills has the characteristics that the SAVI-based Physics Module is developed using the SAVI learning stage, including the preparation stage, delivery stage, training stage, and result performance stage as well as, integrating critical thinking skills in each lesson. steps and contains critical thinking test questions. The SAVI-based physics teaching module is suitable for use as teaching material based on the results of the main field trial, the results obtained that 86% of students stated that this module was in very good criteria for module readability from the aspects of material, media, and language.

Abstract

In public perception, religious scholars (Ulama) serve as highly trusted sources of information, particularly within Indonesian society. Therefore, it is imperative to ensure that Ulama possesses adequate digital literacy to convey accurate and reliable information. This study aims to provide computer training to the students (santri) of Ma'had MQDH NW Pancor, enabling them to master relevant computer technologies and applications. The training primarily focuses on internet literacy and Microsoft Office applications, employing a combination of lectures and hands-on practice. Ten participants from various levels of study were involved in the program, which took place at Laboratory 1, Faculty of Engineering, Hamzanwadi University. The results of the training revealed that 57.1% of the participants expressed high satisfaction levels, while 71.4% reported an increase in their understanding after completing the training. In conclusion, this computer training program has demonstrated positive benefits in enhancing the digital comprehension and skills of the students, preparing them to tackle digital challenges in the future.

Abstract

The growth of the number of interconnected wireless devices such as the Internet of Things (IoT) is continuously increasing across various sectors, including smart buildings, smart offices, smart cities, and others. According to estimates, by the year 2030, there will be at least 50 billion devices interconnected through networks. The escalating number of uncontrolled wireless devices can lead to various issues such as interference, collisions, and data loss, resulting in an overall decline in network system performance. This study aims to propose a scenario as an alternative solution to optimize the overall network performance in the system by assigning channels to each interconnected wireless pair to reduce the impact of interference. This research indicates that the proposed method successfully enhances the system throughput performance by 39.75% compared to the condition where all wireless pairs operate on the same channel, thereby outperforming several other comparative methods.

Abstract

Energy is a basic need in everyday life, so the need for energy in the world continues to grow. Energy is usually produced from fossils whose existence is diminishing and cannot be renewed. Therefore many experts are looking for ways to make and create some renewable energy, and Dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC) is one of them. In this study aimed to determine the characterization of the electrical properties of the Dye Sulphur Cosmos (Kenikir Leaf) material extract. The study conducted absorbance tests using a UV Visible 1601 PC Spectrophotometer and current and voltage tests (I-V) using Cathay. These results indicate that some natural dyes from the extraction of natural organic matter have absorbance spectra in the range of 300-800 nm, which have the potential as DSSCs.

Abstract

Increasing competence is very necessary for SMK students to improve their insight and knowledge in a world with very rapid technological developments. Increasing competence certainly supports students in preparing for the world of work and becomes a provision for higher education with appropriate fields of competence. In this case, the Computer Engineering Study Program of Hamzanwadi University takes a role in community service by providing Internet of Things (IoT) training to support the competence of vocational students. The competency improvement training was given to students of SMKN 1 Pringggabaya, East Lombok, with a total of 40 students. The training provided was in the form of IoT implementation for intelligent homes, in the form of Light Emitting Diode (LED) control as a substitute for house lights connected to the ESP32 microcontroller and several electronic components, while monitoring and controlling was carried out using a smartphone connected to the internet. In its implementation, the method used is to provide an understanding of the knowledge of IoT, and the application of IoT in several fields, followed by trying to practice the implementation of a smart home which is also implemented and tested directly by students. The results obtained from the training show students' interest in IoT implementation and enthusiasm for understanding IoT implementation now.
