The "Seneng Maca" library, Melung village was established in 2015 with the intention that the reading interest of Melung villagers increased. This study was conducted with a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection through observation, and interviews. As a result, with a collection of around 540 copies, the "Seneng Maca" library was visited by mothers while waiting for their children in PAUD and TK schools, school children after they returned (late in the afternoon), and PKK mothers when they were active in the village office near the library. It is recommended to be able to recruit workers or volunteers who have a background in library science, so that the "Seneng Maca" library can be better managed. It is recommended to develop planned collections with sources of village fund allocation. Keywords: Village Community Development, Village Library, Reading Interest.

The collection development consists of community analysis activities, collection development policies, selection, acquisition, weeding, and evaluation. The development of collections based on study program accreditation in the IAIN Purwokerto library consisted of the development of printed collections and digital collections. For printed collections, IAIN Purwokerto uses academic guidelines and course syllabus as one of the library material selection media. The study program bibliography has been made by the librarian of the IAIN Purwokerto library, it will easily be known how many collections support a particular study program. If there are still study programs whose source of information / reference books are few, then it will be a priority in the procurement of the following year. Digital collections are also considered in the IAIN Purwokerto library. In 2017, the bookless service was launched and began subscribing to Proquest as a research information source for lecturers, students and educational staff at the IAIN Purwokerto.

Pustakawan sebagai pengelola informasi/manajer informasi akan mempunyai nilai lebih jika dapat membuat dan mengelola website/blog. Website/blog sebagai sarana penyebaran informasi bagi institusi mutlak diperlukan di era informasi sekarang ini.Ada beberapa manfaat website bagi sekolah/institusi yaitu: sebagai sarana penyebaran informasi sekolah, tempat diskusi/komunikasi, konseling siswa/orangtua, menampilkan jurnal sekolah (karya guru/staf). Balitbang Kemdiknas telah memacu sekolah-sekolah untuk membuat website sendiri dengan menggratiskan template CMS Balitbang. Adapun hosting untung template tersebut dapat kita pilih yang gratisan, yang ada di Idhostinger.

This study aims to determine the utilization of WA Group in the KMP community.Whatsapp comes as a new media that serves to communicate between application users. Whatsapp has facilities to create groups where each member can communicate with each other. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with the technique of retrieving data through online observation and interviews. The result is the use of whatsapp groups in the KMP community is quite high / active. The Librarian Writing Class Community, established in 2015 with the aim of sharing through writing, has published six (6) anthology titles, which are: Proud to be librarians, librarians and book meanings, librarians personal brand, library service innovation and hoaxes, building phenomena librarian professional competence, and my inspiration in the library. KMP has also carried out collaborative activities in the field of librarianship and writing.

This study aims to determine the level of reading interest for user library in IAIN Purwokerto. Reading is a very important activity in education, especially in college. IAIN Purwokerto as part of the university has the task of educating the nation's life that can be started by reading. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach, with populations are library users in IAIN library Purwokerto. Sampling using slovin formula with 10% sampling error, and samples taken 100 respondents.Method of data retrieval using questionnaires, with fifteen questions that have been validated and has a high reliability of 0.855. The results of this study indicate that the level of interest in reading librarian library IAIN Purwokerto considered good, because the average value obtained is 2.97.There are 89% of respondents who have hoby reading, 89% of respondents who like to borrow books in the library, 57% of respondents who read at least one hour a day, and 71% of respondents who set aside money to buy books.

The purpose of this research is to describe complex search services at the IAIN Purwokerto Library related to information technology, where search uses a search tool in the form of computers and networks. Based on several studies of users in the IAIN Purwokerto library, the library developed its services. Using descriptive method, with a source of complex search service form data in 2017-2019. As a result, the development of information technology is coloring the provision of new services, such as bookless library services, e-library services that can be installed via playstore on android devices, international journal services by subscribing to proquest, etc. Librarians are also required to master technology by providing information technology-based services, in this case complex search services. Persepsi Pemustaka Terhadap Layanan Bookless di Perpustakaan Iain Purwokerto Indah Wijaya Antasari

Layanan bookless IAIN Purwokerto merupakan layanan berbasis digital yang dapat diakses melalui komputer, smartphone, tablet dan notebook yang diharapkan mampu mempermudah dan mempercepat akses pemustaka terhadap buku dan koleksi rujukan. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menjajagi sejauh mana pemustaka mengenal, memanfaatkan dan mengevaluasi kelemahan kelebihan layanan bookless. Kajian ini merupakan penelitian survey dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pemustaka yang terdaftar sebagai anggota aktif perpustakaan IAIN Purwokerto sebanyak 5.779 orang, sampelnya sebanyak 60 responden dan teknik pengambilan sampelnya menggunakan accidental sample. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan observasi, dokumentasi dan angket dengan pertanyaan tertutup dan terbuka. Data dianalisa menggunakan statistik deskriptif . Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pemustaka yang sudah mengenal adanya layanan bookless 45%, pemustaka yang sudah menggunakan layanan bookless 16,66%, konten yang dianggap sangat diperlukan adalah menu e-book, kelebihan utama layanan bokless dapat diakses melalui smartphone/tablet/notebook pribadi, dan kelemahan utama layanan bookless hanya dapat diakses disekitar perpustakaan IAIN Purwokerto.

This study aims to make a citation analysis of the scientific paper of a IAIN Purwokerto lecturer that has been published in an internal journal within three years (2015-2017). Using a quantitative approach is bibliometrics, a branch of library science that deals with statistics (mathematics). The population is all literature cited in scientific paper by the IAIN Purwokerto lecturers. Sampling of all lecturers' scientific papers that have been published in the journals Ibda, Almanahij, JPA, el-Jizya, Communica and Insania (6 journals) at 2015-2017. The data was obtained from the bibliography (citation) of the scientific paper of lecturers who had cited a number of 3,460 literature. The results of this study indicate that the form of literature that is widely cited is in the form of books (73.06%), the half-life of the literature is 13.5 years, and the availability of collections in the library is 54.42%. In addition, there are still alternative titles / library collection that make it possible to become an alternative reference material, namely a number of 156 library collection. It is recommended to lecturers in the IAIN Purwokerto environment to take part in the reference manager training, namely the application of writing citations (such as zotero or mendeley) so that writing of citation is more basic. This study recommends that an advanced bibliometric study be carried out, to dig deeper into the scientific paper of the IAIN Purwokerto academic community.

Tema penelitian ini adalah implementasi layanan penelusuran untuk keperluan penyelesaian skripsi pada masa pandemi covid 19 di Perpustakaan IAIN Purwokerto yang dilakukan secara daring. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tema/subjek yang paling banyak diperlukan pemustaka, jumlah bahan rujukan yang diberikan pustakawan, dan intensitas pemustaka dalam mengajukan layanan penelusuran. Menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif, dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasinya mahasiswa yang mengajukan layanan selama pandemi 2020 (Maret-Desember 2020) sebanyak 376, responden dengan full populasi. Analisis datanya menggunakan bantuan aplikasi Ms Excel 2013 dan Nvivo 12 Pro. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tema pendidikan merupakan tema/subjek yang paling banyak diminta; Jumlah bahan rujukan yang direkomendasikan pustakawan rata-rata 3,70 per permintaan layanan; sedangkan intensitas permintaan sejumlah 313 pemustaka mengajukan permintaan layanan penelusuran sebanyak satu (1) kali. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan untuk dilakukan kajian lebih mendalam mengenai ketepatan/ kesesuaian jawaban pemustaka dengan kebutuhan pemustaka.
