Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of user satisfaction on the self-loan services in the Library of IAIN Purwokerto. The methodology applies  a descriptive quantitative approach on the population of active visitors. The monthly mean visitors in 2018 is 9,810 people. The sampling technique uses Slovin formula with 10% sampling error of 100 respondents. Data is collected through methods of observation, questionnaire and documentation. Results indicate users satisfaction on each variables are scored at 3.03 on facilities, 3.12 on officers services, and 3.14 on the access, all out of 4 digit scores. The overall mean score 3.10 indicates a good user satisfactory level. The feedback from respondents includes needs on additional computers, library collections (books) placed on shelf a match  numerical classification, and an increase in the number of circulatory books.

Abstract

Tariqa (Eng.: Order; Tariqa) is known as an organization focusing only on spiritual development. That is why Tariqa adherents are often trapped in rituals sometimes distancing them from the outlined Islamic Iman. This study aims to determine the extent to which the Tariqa can become a system of Iman formation. This research was conducted in one of the largest Tariqas in Pontianak, the Tariqa Haq Naqsyabandi headquartered at Perum IV Pontianak City. Based on the results of the research using a qualitative approach with phenomenological type, it was found that: 1) The Tariqa Haq Naqsyabandi has been carrying out Iman (faith)-building since the beginning of the congregation's declaration (Bai’at) of joining this Tariqa; 2) Follow-up coaching is carried out at certain times, such as Tawajjuhan, Special Teaching, Level Ups, and Incidental Teaching. This study contributes to the understanding of how Tariqa Haq Naqsyabandi systematically builds the faith of its congregation, showing that the faith-building system is not only effective but also adaptable to different contexts.

Abstract

This research is a type of phenomenological research aimed at describing the position and role of the Darussalam pesantren as a medium for creating a positive image of SMK Darussalam Karangpucung Cilacap. The data in this study were collected using interview, observation and documentation techniques. After the data was collected, data analysis was carried out using the data analysis technique of the Miles and Huberman model consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results showed that there were five roles played by Darussalam pesantren when carrying out its function as a social media for SMK Darussalam which was used to create a positive image of SMK. First, pesantren Darussalam was involved in implementing habituation activities at SMK. Second, the pesantren Darussalam has a role to produce alumni of SMK Darussalam who have the ability to preach in the community. Third, the Darussalam pesantren is believed to be the organizer of religious activities at SMK Darussalam. Fourth, the Darussalam pesantren was involved by the SMK in activities that were attended by the student's guardians. Fifth, the Darussalam pesantren was given facilities by the SMK to organize religious activities for the communities around the SMK. The five roles of pesantren as media have been successfully played so as to create a positive image of SMK Darussalam in the eyes of the public. The implication of creating a positive image is that there is always an increase in the acquisition of the number of new students at SMK Darussalam. The main factor that supports the success of the pesantren is due to the harmonious relationship between the pesantren and SMK and the community. This has shown a relationship between Islam, the media and society.
