Abstract

Abstract One of the causes of parking problems in Makassar City is the lack of adequate parking facilities in several commercial areas, such as what happened on Jalan Sulawesi. The purpose of this study was to determine traffic performance and to analyze the effect of on-street parking on road performance on Jalan Sulawesi Makassar. In this study, a survey and field data collection were conducted at 3 observation points, in the form of data on vehicle volume, vehicle speed, road characteristics, and parking characteristics. This study shows that parking on street has an effect on the performance of Jalan Sulawesi. The high volume of parking is directly propor-tional to the increasing value of the degree of saturation, which causes a decrease in road capacity and results in a decrease in level of service of the road. Keywords: parking on street; parking facilities; traffic performance; parking characteristics Abstrak Salah satu penyebab masalah parkir di Kota Makassar adalah tidak adanya fasilitas parkir yang memadai di beberapa daerah komersial, seperti yang terjadi di Jalan Sulawesi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menentukan kinerja lalu lintas dan menganalisis pengaruh parkir di badan jalan terhadap kinerja ruas jalan di Jalan Sulawesi Makassar. Pada studi ini dilakukan survei di 3 titik pengamatan dan pengambilan data lapangan, berupa data volume kendaraan, kecepatan kendaraan, karakteristik jalan, serta karakteristik parkir. Penelitian ini menunjuk-kan bahwa parkir di badan jalan berpengaruh pada kinerja ruas Jalan Sulawesi. Tingginya volume parkir ber-banding lurus dengan meningkatnya nilai derajat kejenuhan, yang menyebabkan penurunan kapasitas jalan dan berakibat pada turunnya tingkat pelayanan jalan. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to (1) produce audio-based learning media for students with visual impairments at SLB-A YAPTI Makassar, (2) determine the quality of the feasibility of audio-based learning media for students with visual impairments using standard testing ISO/IEC 9126. The type of research used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) using the Research and Development (ADDIE) development model, consisting of 5 (five) stages, namely, analyze (analysis), design (design), develop (development), implement (implementation), and evaluate (evaluation). The subjects in this study were students with visual impairments and teachers at SLB-A YAPTI Makassar. Data were collected through literature study, questionnaires and documentation. The data were analyzed using the ISO/IEC 9126 software testing method which includes aspects of functionality, usability, portability and maintainability. The functionality aspect uses test cases by two system experts, the usability aspect uses a questionnaire, theportability aspect uses various types of smartphones and the maintainability aspect tests the software on the analyzability and changebility aspects. The results of this study are audio-based learning media for students with visual impairments. The results of testing the system functionality aspect are considered good because X is close to 1, the usability aspect gets a score of 65 in the "very high" category, the portability aspect has no errors in various types of smartphones, the maintainability aspect shows that the sub-characteristics that are assessed in terms of maintainability are good. So it can be concluded that the quality of the software already meets the software quality criteria. Keywords: Learning Media, Audio, Blind, Special School

Abstract

In mitigating the flood disasters that often hit Gorontalo City, the participation of all parties is needed, starting from the local government, campus and community. Disaster education at the community level must be used as an initial lesson in disaster mitigation. One effort that can be made is by mapping land types in Gorontalo City which is then disseminated to technical agencies (PUPR) in order to reduce the risk of flooding in vulnerable areas. The research began with technical mapping of soil types in flood areas in Gorontalo City. Maps were analyzed using GIS applications. The resulting GIS map was then submitted to the Gorontalo City PUPR Service. The research results show that the dominant clay soil is spread across 6 sub-districts in Gorontalo City, namely Kota Selatan, Kota Tengah, Kota Utara, Kota Timur, Dungingi and Sipatana Districts. Some of them are in Kota Barat and Dumbo Raya sub-districts. Meanwhile, in Hulonthalangi District, sandy soil is more dominated; the educational model regarding technical maps of soil types received a positive response from the Gorontalo City PUPR Service.
