Abstract

Hypercholesterolemia is a condition in which cholesterol concentrations in the blood exceed normal levels, resulting in death if total cholesterol levels exceed 240 mg/dl. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of cupping therapy on total cholesterol levels in hypercholesterolemia patients at the Islamic Medication Clinic of Reflection and Cupping Samarinda. This was a quantitative study with The pre-experimental group was combined with the pre-test and post-test groups. The total number of participants in this study was 20, and their total cholesterol levels were measured before and after they were cupped. The Shapiro-Wilk test was used to determine normalcy. Paired T-Test was used in bivariate analysis. The results of the bivariate analysis using the T-test revealed that there was a significant effect of cupping therapy on total cholesterol levels in hypercholesterolemia patients, with a p value of 0.00 < 0.05. According to the results of the variable analysis, there was an effect of cupping therapy on total cholesterol levels and hypercholesterolemia. According to the findings of the study, cupping therapy should be one of the therapies used to control total cholesterol levels, and it is hoped that other researchers will conduct additional research on cupping therapy. Cooperate with the laboratory so that total cholesterol, LDL, HDL, and triglyceride levels can be determined. This cupping research could also be expanded to include its benefits for other medications.

Abstract

Anemia menjadi permasalahan gizi di negara berkembang dan menjadi focus dalam target penyelesaian masalah Kesehatan terutama pada remaja puteri. Masalah anaemia berkaitan dengan mesntruasi dan tidak adekatnya asupan nutrisi. Upaya pencegahan dan penanganan anemia dengan pendekatan kearifan local dengan memanfatkan hasil alam. Di Samarinda tanaman kelaki sebagai sumber sayur yang memiliki manfaat dalam meningkatkan kadar haemoglobin.. Jenis penelitian adalah quasi eksperimental without control. Populasi remaja puteri sebanyak 240 siswi. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling yaitu mengambil subyek penelitian sebanyak 39 siswi dikelas X SMA 11 Samarinda. Teknik sampling menggunakan purposive sampling sebanyak 39 responden. Instrumen penelitian menngunakan Hb meter memakia alat Nesco. Analisis pengolahan data menggunakan Wilcoxon test. Hasil penelitian dilakukan terhadap 39 responden diberikan perlakuan sama yaitu pemberian sayur daun kelakai selama 3 minggu. Hasil uji wilcoxon test terdapat perbedaan 11.32 g/dl dan setelah diberikan intervensi menunjukkan rata-rata Hb menjadi menjadi 13.27 g/dl. Serta ada pengaruh yang signifikan pemberian daun kelakai terhadap perubahan kadar hemoglobin responden dengan sig 0,000. Pemberian sayur daun kelakai berpengaruh terhadap perubahan kadar hemoglobin remaja putri di SMA 11 Samarinda.

Abstract

ABSTRACT In the process of human life where there will be changes such as physical, social, emotional, and psychosocial from the transition period of childhood to adulthood. Emotionally intelligent people are able to control their emotions well from excessive stress, depression, anxiety, or anger and restrain or delay their temporary pleasure in pursuit of long-term goals. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and coping strategies in late adolescents at SMA Negeri 3 Samarinda. This research is quantitative correlation with a Cross Sectional approach, with a sample of 178 using stratified random sampling technique. The instruments used were the TEIQue emotional intelligence questionnaire and the Brief Cope coping strategy. Data analysis used the Spearman Rank test. The results of statistical tests between emotional intelligence and coping strategies in late adolescents obtained a correlation coefficient of -0.157 and the p value is 0.037 less than the significance level of 0.05. This is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and coping strategies in late adolescents at SMA Negeri 3 Samarinda and shows a weak relationship with a negative correlation direction that the lower the emotional intelligence they have, the more adaptive their coping strategies are.

Abstract

School-age children are a risk group because of their tendency to imitate behavior both at home and outside the home. One thing to pay attention to is the habit of eating and consuming vegetables and fruits. Characteristics of children in imitating the behavior of others as a model in implementing everyday behavior. This study aims to determine the effect of live modeling on vegetable and fruit consumption behavior in students at SDN 020 Samarinda. Pre-experiment research design without control. The population in this study amounted to 57 students. The technique of taking purposive sampling as many as 11 respondents. The instrument used in the study used an observation sheet on vegetable and fruit consumption behavior. The statistical analysis used was the Wilcoxon test. There is an effect of giving live modeling on healthy snacking behavior and consumption of fruit and vegetables (0.009; 0.003 < α 0.05). This means that there is an influence of live modeling on the behavior of snacking on sehan and consumption of vegetables and fruits
