This is because elderly people often have difficulty adapting to the rapid development of science. This research aims to determine the performance of published articles on elderly literacy research topics, and science mapping to find out areas of literacy that are often research topics. This research used 138 articles and proceedings indexed by Scopus as the research population. The bibliometric analysis utilized keywords derived from the abstracts and titles of the articles collected. The research results showed that of the 138 publications, there were 17 areas of literacy, which were the main topics in the research Of the 17 literacy fields, health literacy is the literacy field that has the highest frequency, to be precise, 73 articles. Bibliometric analysis of literacy in the elderly shows the popularity of a topic so that researchers can use it to determine research topics based on existing trends.
