Abstract

Neglected children also have the right to live and participate as part of the citizens in accordance with human dignity, and to receive protection from violence and discrimination. Handling neglected children is one of the government's tasks in the social sector which must be handled properly so that these children can live a more decent life and have their rights fulfilled. The Provincial Government of Bali in dealing with the problems of neglected children cooperates with the UPTD Social Services and the Udyana Wiguna Children's Orphanage. This study aims to find out how the synergy is between the Bali Province Social Service, the UPTD Social Services and the Udyana Wiguna Children's Orphanage. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study were analyzed using three indicators of synergy according to Stephen R. Covey, namely cooperation, communication and coordination which showed that the synergy that exists between the Bali Province Social Service, the UPTD Social Services and the Udyana Wiguna Children's Orphanage has gone well in terms of the handling and care of neglected children carried out by these three institutions which has resulted in a significant reduction in the number of abandoned children in Buleleng Regency. However, there are still some deficiencies in the handling process, such as the absence of outreach to the community and the lack of financial support from the government. These deficiencies must be improved so that the synergy that exists can run more optimally.

Abstract

This research aims to understand the empowerment strategy for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the cooperative and SME department of Tabanan Regency. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with data analysis using SWOT matrix analysis. Data collection techniques are carried out through interviews, observation and documentation. The technique for determining informants used was the snowball and purposive techniques. The results of this research show that there are still indicators that are not optimal. The SWOT analysis shows that the Tabanan Regency cooperative and SME department has large and abundant potential but also faces challenges such as market expansion, changes in regulations and increasingly fierce competition. The empowerment strategy involves improving facilities, services and promotions as well as training through digital media. Sustainability is integrated into management to involve local communities and improve human resources. The implementation of this strategy is expected to increase people's interest in loving local products and using local products so that local products can compete with foreign products, as well as creating economic opportunities for local communities. Collaboration with related parties is needed to support this empowerment. With a holistic approach, the Tabanan Regency Cooperatives and SMEs Service is expected to be an agent of change capable of integrating economic, social and environmental aspects in efforts to empower MSMEs. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan memahami strategi pemberdayaan Usaha Mikro,kecil dan menengah (UMKM) di dinas koperasi dan UKM Kabupaten Tabanan. Penelitian ini menggunakan meggunakan metode deskriptif Kualitatif dengan analisis data menggunakan analisis matriks SWOT. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara,observasi,dan dokumentasi. Teknik penentuan informan yang digunakan adalah Teknik snowball dan purposive. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan masih adanya indikator yang belum maksimal. Analisis SWOT menunjukkan bahwa dinas koperasi dan UKM Kabupaten Tabanan memiliki poteni yang besar serta melimpah namun juga menghadapi tantangan seperti peluasan pasar, perubahan regulasi dan persaingan yang semakin ketat. Strategi pemberdayaan melibatkan peningkatan fasilitas,pelayanan dan promosi serta pelatihan melalui media digital. Keberlanjutan diintegrasikan dalam manajemen untuk melibatkan komunitas lokal dan peningkatan SDM. Implementasi strategi ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan minat masyarakat untuk mencintai produk lokal dan menggunakan produk lokal sehingga produk lokal dapat bersaing dengan produk luar, serta menciptakan peluang ekonomi bagi masyarakat setempat. Kolaborasi dengan pihak terkait diperlukan untuk mendukung pemberdayaan ini. Dengan pendekatan holistic, Dinas Koperasi dan UKM Kabupaten Tabanan diharapkan dapat menjadi agen perubahan yang mampu mengintegrasikan aspek – aspek ekonomi,sosial,dan lingkungan dalam upaya pemberdayaan UMKM. Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the quality of Samsat Drive Thru Batubulan service on the compliance of motor vehicle taxpayers in Gianyar Regency. This type of research is quantitative research that explains or proves the relationship of influence between independent and dependent variables through hypothesis testing. This study used a sample of 100 respondents where the distribution of questionnaires was carried out through online Google forms. Sampling was done using a non-probability sampling method with a purposive sampling technique. The sample consisted of Samsat Drive Thru Batubulan users. The research test tool uses validity test, reliability test, classical assumption, and simple linear regression using the SPSS version. 26. Hypothesis testing in this study using a t-test with the results of the study showing that from the two variables, namely service quality, has a significant positive influence on compliance

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the motor vehicle tax amnesty policy (PKB) in Bali Province, as regulated by Bali Governor Regulation No. 24 of 2023. The policy is intended to alleviate the financial burden on the community by abolishing fines for late motor vehicle tax payments, while simultaneously increasing Local Original Revenue (PAD) and updating vehicle ownership data. This research employs a qualitative approach through interviews, observations, and documentation, and is based on the policy implementation model by Van Meter and Van Horn, which encompasses six variables: policy dimensions and objectives, resources, characteristics of the implementing agencies, inter-organizational communication, implementers' disposition, and economic, social, and political conditions. The findings indicate that the PKB amnesty policy has been implemented fairly well, supported by adequate human resources and technology, as well as effective coordination between the Bali Provincial Revenue Agency (BAPENDA), the Regional Technical Implementation Unit for Regional Revenue (UPTD PPRD), and other related agencies. However, several challenges remain, including congestion of queues at the end of the amnesty period, limited public access to information, and system disruptions caused by surges in online transactions. Despite these challenges, the policy is deemed successful in enhancing taxpayer compliance and providing tangible benefits to the community, particularly in reducing financial burdens. Recommendations include improved socialization, strengthening of the information technology system, and enhanced queue management to increase the policy's future effectiveness.

Abstract

The WBK and WBBM predicates are given to a work unit that has passed the standardization. This research aims to determine the strategy of the Denpasar Immigration Office in maintaining the title of Corruption Free Area (WBK) and Clean Serving Bureaucratic Area (WBBM). The research method is qualitative descriptive and data collection methods in the form of interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that the implemented strategy has been able to maintain the WBK and WBBM predicate but still needs to be optimized. There are problems in the form of technology, infrastructure and human resource management. The strategic recommendations from SWOT Analysis: (1) reinforce the consistency of procedures to maintain IKM (SO), (2) increasing maintenance of digitalization systems by a collaboration with private sector (WO), (3) reinforce work system procedures to avoid corruption (ST), and (4) optimizing digital systems with high security (WT). This research recommends strengthening procedures, improving facilities and optimizing digital-based systems.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas strategi Pemerintah Desa Adat Suwat dalam mengembangkan objek wisata Suwat Waterfall di Kabupaten Gianyar, Bali. Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis strategi yang telah diterapkan serta merumuskan rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan daya saing dan keberlanjutan destinasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pemerintah Desa Adat Suwat menerapkan strategi peningkatan infrastruktur, promosi berbasis media sosial, serta pemberdayaan masyarakat lokal. Tantangan utama yang dihadapi mencakup keterbatasan dana, rendahnya kualitas sumber daya manusia, dan minimnya pemanfaatan teknologi. Analisis SWOT menunjukkan kekuatan utama terletak pada keunikan alam dan aksesibilitas, kelemahan pada keterbatasan SDM, peluang pada perkembangan teknologi dan lokasi strategis, serta ancaman pada persaingan destinasi lain. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan kapasitas SDM, kolaborasi dengan pemerintah dan swasta, promosi digital yang lebih masif, serta penerapan prinsip pariwisata berkelanjutan. Dengan strategi tersebut, Suwat Waterfall berpotensi menjadi destinasi wisata yang kompetitif, berkelanjutan, dan memberi manfaat ekonomi bagi masyarakat lokal.
