This research is an in-depth study aimed at analyzing the concept of the Secret Rapture from a theological perspective within the context of the Bible. The Secret Rapture is one of the debated topics in Christian theology, relating to views about when and how the rapture of believers will occur before the period of tribulation or the end times. In this study, a biblical approach is used to investigate key aspects of the Secret Rapture as presented in the Bible. First, the research will review relevant Bible texts to identify the theological foundations underlying the Secret Rapture. Furthermore, the interpretation of Bible prophecies about the end times, particularly in the Book of Revelation, will be examined to understand how the rapture is understood by prominent theologians. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konsep Pengangkatan Rahasia (Secret Rapture) dari sudut pandang teologi dalam konteks Alkitabiah. Pengangkatan Rahasia ialah salah satu topik yang mendebatkan di dalam teologi Kristen, yang berkaitan dengan pandangan tentang kapan serta bagaimana pengangkatan orang percaya akan terjadi sebelum masa kesengsaraan atau akhir zaman. Dalam penelitian ini, pendekatan alkitabiah digunakan untuk menyelidiki aspek-aspek kunci dari Pengangkatan Rahasia seperti yang terdapat dalam Alkitab. Pertama, penelitian ini akan meninjau teks-teks Alkitab yang relevan untuk mengidentifikasi dasar-dasar teologi yang mendasari Pengangkatan Rahasia. Selanjutnya, penafsiran nubuat-nubuat Alkitab tentang akhir zaman, khususnya kitab Wahyu, akan diuji untuk melihat bagaimana pengangkatan tersebut dipahami oleh beberapa ahli teologi terkemuka. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga akan membahas perspektif teologis berbeda mengenai Pengangkatan Rahasia dan argumen-argumen yang mendasari masing-masing pandangan. Beberapa teolog mungkin memandang Pengangkatan Rahasia sebagai peristiwa yang nyata dan terpisah dari periode kesengsaraan, sementara yang lain mungkin melihatnya sebagai bagian dari suatu rangkaian peristiwa yang terjadi selama masamasa akhir zaman. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian ini didasarkan pada penelitian kepustakaan yaitu mengumpulkan data dari literatur-literatur, menelaahnya dan menganalisis data tersebut untuk mendapatkan informasi-informasi mengenai topik yang diteliti. Melalui penelitian secara kepustakaan dapat menemukan fakta secara tepat. Hasil dari analisis ini diharapkan bisa memberi pemahaman yang mendalam tentang signifikansi teologis Pengangkatan Rahasia dalam konteks Alkitabiah. Selain itu, diharapkan pula jika jurnal ini akan menyumbang pada dialog teologis yang lebih luas mengenai topik ini, membantu mencerahkan serta memperkaya pemahaman umat Kristen tentang harapan mereka pada masa yang akan datang.

Jewish rabbis after the fall of Jerusalem were more inclined to interpret the suffering servant in Isaiah 53 as the nation of Israel. As for the Jewish rabbis who stated that Isaiah 53 prophesied the nation of Israel as the suffering servant and stated that the prophecy had been fulfilled, where the nation of Israel suffered under other nations because they rejected Jesus as the Messiah. This study aims to investigate and analyze Isaiah 53, focusing on the question of whether the prophecy is more appropriately interpreted as a description of the Messiah or as a description of Israel by using the descriptive method of analysis. The results show that the prophecy consistently describes the characteristics of the Messiah, identifying specific elements that support this interpretation. Although there is an alternative view that views Isaiah 53 as a description of Israel's fate, this argument seems less consistent with aspects of the text and context. This study can provide in-depth insights into the meaning and interpretation of Isaiah 53, resulting in a significant contribution to biblical studies, as well as unearthing theological and spiritual implications that can enrich our understanding of this prophetic message.

Abstract: The message of the Cross of Christ and its proclamation is an urgent part of Biblical theology. The message of the Cross emphasizes the incarnate status of Jesus (John 1:14) or the humble status of Jesus in the “form” (Yun. MORPHE) of a servant (Yun. DOULOS), and being made in the likeness of men (Phil. 2:7). Without the incarnation of Jesus, there is no teaching about the Cross of Jesus in the Bible. This study aims to explore in depth Paul's thoughts on the meaning of the preaching of the cross of Christ, how his views provide significant theological insights for human life. The method used is qualitative with an exegetical analysis approach. The results of this study show that the exclusivity, uniqueness and antithesis of the preaching of the Cross of Christ in the perspective of 1 Corinthians 1: 18-25 is the only way of salvation according to Christian teaching and contains absolute truth about salvation. Thus, the message of the cross was understood and accepted by the early church and its relevance for Christians today.

Keselamatan merupakan kebutuhan mutlak setiap manusia karena tanpa anugerah keselamatan dari Tuhan, semua manusia akan binasa. Keselamatan sebagai kebutuhan dan tujuan hidup manusia seharusnya dipahami dalam konsep yang Alkitabiah namun fakta yang terjadi bahwa sejak beberapa abad yang lalu keselamatan telah diformulasikan dalam berbagai pandangan dan doktrin yang berbeda-beda, dan akibatnya terjadi pemahaman yang salah tentang keselamatan, baik dalam proses maupun dalam bentuk tanggung jawab manusia di dalam memperoleh keselamatan. Hal ini bukan hanya terjadi di kalangan para teolog tetapi juga dalam keluarga Kristen. Akibat dari pemahaman yang salah ini, banyak anggota keluarga Kristen yang tidak setia terhadap iman Kristen, dan yang lebih ironis lagi banyak orang Kristen menikah dengan orang yang tidak seiman dengan tujuan supaya dengan terbentuknya keluarga bisa menyelamatkan jiwa pasangan yang tidak percaya, tetapi realitasnya justru sebaliknya, orang Kristen diperhadapkan dengan masalah-masalah dalam keluarga tersebut, bahkan orang Kristen meninggalkan imannya. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis fokus pembahasan pada 1 Korintus 7:14-16 secara eksegesis dengan memperhatikan ayat-ayat Alkitab yang lain dan mengkaji pandangan-pandangan (pernyataan-pernyataan) yang mendukung dan dapat membangun melalui literatur yang ada. Selain itu penulis membatasi pembahasan tentang makna keselamatan keluarga yaitu tentang pengaruh iman pribadi suami atau istri bagi keselamatan pasangannya yang belum percaya dan tidak berbicara tentang predestinasi. Dalam hal ini penulis memfokuskan pembahasan dari sisi doktrinal namun tidak membahas tentang ordo keselamatan secara keseluruhan melainkan hanya pengaruh iman bagi keselamatan.

Penderitaan sering disebutkan dalam Alkitab dan merupakan bagian penting dalam kehidupan orang percaya. Dalam 2 Korintus 11:23-28, rasul Paulus menguraikan tantangan-tantangan ketika melayani Kristus. Penderitaan adalah ujian yang menguji ketabahan dan keimanan seseorang. Penelitian ini betujuan untuk mengemukakan makna penderitaan menurut Alkitab. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dihasilkan bahwa penderitaan ini dipercaya dapat meningkatkan ketergantungan seseorang pada Tuhan dan keimanan. Selain itu, penderitaan memberikan peluang bagi umat Kristiani untuk menyaksikan iman mereka dan mengabarkan Injil. Hasil penelitian penderitaan tidak selalu berkaitan dengan hukuman, namun sebagai sarana yang dipakai Allah untuk menyatakan kemuliaan-Nya.

The discourse on the sovereignty of God is always a profound topic in Christian theology. It demonstrates that God's sovereignty shows supreme authority and power over all creation, including human life. In the Book of Job, there are two theological views: first, the orthodox retributive theology view where God is depicted as a figure who acts in relation to human actions, that suffering can occur because humans oppose God. Second, is the theodicy theological view, a belief that God has ordained everything so that human efforts and actions do not make a difference or impact in the history of life. The contradictory modern view sees that God allows suffering because of sin and actions, not as a purity of faith to be closer to God. This research aims to provide a deeper theological understanding of God's sovereignty and its relationship to the suffering of believers. Thus helping believers strengthen their faith in the midst of suffering. This research uses a qualitative method with a theological-hermeneutical analysis approach. As a result, this research can be a source of valuable inspiration and teaching and help believers understand and respond to suffering in light of sovereignty. God's sovereignty affirms that God's sovereignty encompasses His power and authority over all creation, including the suffering experienced by humans. Job is a concrete example of fortitude and faith in the midst of suffering.

Abstract: Jesus' prayer is centered entirely on His Name and has the power to cast out demons. But it is important to understand that the Prayer of Jesus is not just a formula or a mantra, but a sacred dialogue between the individual and God. Some interpretations and practices of the Jesus Prayer may deviate from Church teaching, so it is important to distinguish true spiritual guidance. Jesus' prayer is not a long or repetitive prayer, but rather a sincere expression of one's desire for mercy, forgiveness, and union with Christ. Jesus' prayer is rooted in Bible verses and requires humility, repentance, and an increasingly intimate relationship with Christ. In practicing the Jesus Prayer, it is important to refer to the wisdom and guidance of the Holy Fathers and seek guidance from spiritual fathers and mothers. Jesus' prayer is relevant today and can be a source of comfort, strength, and spiritual growth for those seeking to embark on a journey of concentration and deep communion with the Lord Jesus Christ. The research method is a review of literature (library reseach) and literature study from the church tradition about the prayer of Jesus, especially based on the writings of St. Ignatius Brianchaninov namely On the Prayer of Jesus which is interacted with other related texts in the Bible and other Church Fathers. The results of the analysis show that the plea for God's mercy in the prayer of Jesus makes people realize that God is the only source of help in physical and mental pain and suffering. Abstrak: Doa Yesus adalah doa berpusat sepenuhnya pada Nama-Nya dan mempunyai kuasa untuk mengusir setan. Namun penting untuk dipahami bahwa Doa Yesus bukan sekedar rumusan atau mantra, melainkan dialog suci antara individu dan Tuhan. Beberapa penafsiran dan praktik tentang Doa Yesus mungkin menyimpang dari ajaran Gereja, sehingga penting untuk membedakan bimbingan rohani yang benar. Doa Yesus bukanlah doa yang panjang atau berulang-ulang, melainkan ungkapan tulus dari keinginan seseorang akan belas kasihan, pengampunan, dan persatuan dengan Kristus. Doa Yesus berakar pada ayat-ayat Alkitab dan membutuhkan kerendahan hati, pertobatan, dan hubungan yang semakin intim dengan Kristus. Dalam mengamalkan Doa Yesus, penting untuk mengacu pada kebijaksanaan dan bimbingan para Bapa Suci dan mencari bimbingan dari ayah dan ibu rohani. Doa Yesus relevan di zaman sekarang dan dapat menjadi sumber kenyamanan, kekuatan, dan pertumbuhan rohani bagi mereka yang berupaya memulai perjalanan konsentrasi dan persekutuan mendalam dengan Tuhan Yesus Kristus. Metode penelitian adalah kajian literature secara kepustakaan (library reseach) dan studi literatur dari tradisi gereja tentang doa Yesus, khususnya berdasarkan tulisan dari St. Ignatius Brianchaninov yaitu On the Prayer of Jesus yang di interaksikan dengan teks lain yang berkaitan didalam Alkitab dan Bapa-bapa Gereja lainnya. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa permohonan belas kasihan Allah dalam Doa puja Yesus menyadarkan manusia bahwa Allah satu-satunya sumber pertolongan dalam kesakitan dan penderitaan fisik maupun batin.

The cross is a central symbol in Christian theology that contains fundamental meaning. The meaning of the cross in the letters of the Apostle Paul has strong doctrinal and historical substance. Letter 1 Corinthians is the main focus, in this study. Paul faced various issues and conflicts in the Corinthian church, responding by referring to the meaning of the cross as the center of his teaching. For Paul, the meaning of the cross was profound; through the cross, God revealed His love to redeem His people from their sins. This study aims to deeply explore Paul's thoughts on the meaning of the cross, how his views provide significant theological insights for human life. The method used is qualitative with a thematic analysis approach. The author of Paul's thoughts on the cross is based on textual searches and hermeneutical patterns. The results show that the cross provides a way of redemption, forgiveness, salvation, justification, becomes the center of solutions to various conflicts, and human problems. This research also contributes to the understanding and development of spirituality in the context of modern life where Christians can realize sincere love for others.

The doctrine of the Trinity is one of the doctrines that most often becomes a polemic both among Christians and outside Christianity. In general, the concept of the Trinity is considered as something irrational. The aim of this research is to provide an understanding of the doctrine of the Trinity based on God's Word so that it can be a teaching for Christians in particular and readers in general. In addition, it provides an understanding of the history of the Trinity from the early church and also the progression of the Trinity throughout scripture. The God we can know is limited to what is stated in the Bible and the God who reveals himself in the Bible is the Triune God, this is what Christians must understand. The method used is qualitative with a descriptive analysis approach. The results of this research indicate that D. Glenn Butner Jr's work in Perichoresis is part of a broader exploration of Trinitarian theology with the aim of providing a comprehensive understanding of Christian doctrine about God.
