Abstract

Supervision is an important instrument insupporting theachievementof educational goals. Supervision or supervision carried out at the madrasah level is the responsibility of a madrasah head. The communication style of the head of the madrasah when supervising education personnel has an impact on improving the performance of education staff. This article discusses the communication style of the head of the madrasah in supervising education personnel in Man 2 Model Medan. Supervise the head of the madrasah how his efforts are in optimizing the potential of existing educators. This discussion is the result of research conducted in MAN 2 Model Medan. Qualitative research with results showing that the supervision model carried out by the head of the madrasah when supervising teachers with interpersonal communication style carried out by the head of the madrasah is able to motivate teachers and education staff to develop their capacity. Where the head of the madrasah observes directly the ongoing learning process in the supervised classroom while approaching it with an interpersonal communication style. This is done so that the head of the madrasah knows the readiness and preparation of teachers in the learning process. From here the head of the madrasah will follow up as needed to optimize the potential of teachers and education staff respectively.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: The effect of young marriage on household harmony in Medan Sinembah Village, Tanjung Morawa District on the perspectives on Family Communication. The type of research is quantitative research. The population of this study was adolescents who married at a young age in 2019-2020 whose marriage age was 19-20 years, totalling 52 people. Sampling used a total sampling technique, with a sample of 52 people. The data collection instrument used a questionnaire with a Likert scale totalling 15 statements of young marriage variables, including 12 valid items and 3 invalid items. Then 32 statements of household harmony variables including 28 valid items and 4 invalid items. The data analysis technique used descriptive tests, normality and linearity test, and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence between the young marriage variable and the household harmony variable with a t count of 3,794 l> 2,008, so it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that "there is an effect of young marriage on household harmony". The value of t count is 3,794> t table 2,008 in simple linear regression analysis. The significance is 0.000 <0.05 probability, so it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that "There is an effect of young marriage on household harmony in the context of Family Communication".

Abstract

The aim of this research was to analyze the political communication strategies employed by the leadership of Muhammadiyah in the Helvetia branch during the 2020 Medan City Election. A qualitative descriptive method was utilized, incorporating an informal selection process and triangulation of sources to ensure data accuracy. While examining Muhammadiyah's organizational structure, it becomes apparent that the union does not have a formal commitment to endorse a specific mayoral candidate. However, at the leadership level, individual roles are assumed, and personal efforts are made or instructions are given to subordinates and colleagues within the organization, as well as to trade unions. Political communication within Muhammadiyah, particularly by branch leaders in the context of the 2020 Medan City Election, is not governed by specific union regulations. Nevertheless, the leadership provides an overview to union members regarding the selection of a mayoral candidate, aiming to align organizational aspirations without causing harm to the union's interests. The Regional Head Elections, as a democratic mechanism, are founded on the principles of people's sovereignty and are implemented to strengthen Indonesian democracy. The alignment of organizational leadership, notably within Muhammadiyah, provides guidance to its union members, conveying the organization's support for a particular figure or candidate for the mayoral or regional leadership positions. Muhammadiyah's involvement in politics is part of its cultural movement, contributing to the shaping of local governance and societal development.

Abstract

Organizational communication is used to achieve common goals in an organization. Organizational communication is the transmission of information so as to form information flows that give rise to information networks. In understanding communication in an organization there are several perspectives that can be used, namely: Classical, Humanistic, Integration and Contemporary. Perspective is a point of view in interpreting a problem. In this study, researchers discuss comparative studies from the perspectives of organizational communication theory. Where researchers compare the advantages and weaknesses of each perspective with qualitative approaches and comparative methods. In comparative studies, each of the above perspectives has different advantages and disadvantages, and is selected according to the needs of the organization and the specific situation. However, in general, the four perspectives can be used as a guide to understanding how communication can be used to achieve organizational goals. It is important to understand that each perspective has its own advantages and disadvantages, so there is no one theory that can be used to solve all problems in organizations. Although the four perspectives of organizational communication theory have different focuses and goals, they are interrelated and can contribute to a more holistic understanding of communication in organizations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of social structure on organizational communication processes at the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication, UIN Ar-Raniry. This research uses a comparative study approach by comparing classical, human, integration, and contemporary perspectives in understanding the relationship between social structure and organizational communication. The research method used is comparative descriptive analysis, which involves collecting data through interviews, observation, and documentation studies. Respondents in this study consisted of lecturers, administrative staff, and students involved in organizational communication at the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication. The results showed that the existing social structure in the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication influenced the organizational communication process. In the classical perspective, hierarchical and authoritarian structures influence a more limited flow of information and communication. However, in a human perspective, a more democratic and participatory structure facilitates more open and mutually supportive communication. In an integration perspective, research shows that social structures that promote collaboration and reciprocity between organizational members increase communication effectiveness. On the other hand, in a contemporary perspective, research highlights the role of communication technology in changing organizational communication patterns, with the existence of social media and digital platforms that enable faster and wider communication.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh struktur sosial terhadap proses komunikasi organisasi di Fakultas Dakwah dan Komunikasi, UIN Ar-Raniry. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi komparatif dengan membandingkan perspektif klasik, human, integrasi, dan kontemporer dalam memahami hubungan antara struktur sosial dan komunikasi organisasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif komparatif, yang melibatkan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Responden dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari dosen, staf administrasi, dan mahasiswa yang terlibat dalam komunikasi organisasi di Fakultas Dakwah dan Komunikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam perspektif klasik, struktur hierarkis dan otoriter mempengaruhi aliran informasi dan komunikasi yang lebih terbatas. Namun, dalam perspektif human, struktur yang lebih demokratis dan partisipatif memfasilitasi komunikasi yang lebih terbuka dan saling mendukung. Dalam perspektif integrasi, penelitian menunjukkan bahwa struktur sosial yang mempromosikan kolaborasi dan timbal balik antara anggota organisasi meningkatkan efektivitas komunikasi. Di sisi lain, dalam perspektif kontemporer, penelitian menyoroti peran teknologi komunikasi dalam mengubah pola komunikasi organisasi, dengan adanya media sosial dan platform digital yang memungkinkan komunikasi yang lebih cepat dan luas.

Abstract

In this article, Discussion of the study of comunication  in constructive learning environment for early childhood. Data unearthed from interviews and observations  to students and parents of students to find out their perception of the learning environment they prefer and compareit with the actual situation with the perspective of Islamic education. The data is used to plan improvements in the learning environment through teacher professional learning proses by redesigning programs and encouraging changes in student classroom behavior. Constructive learning strategies and the reshaping of lessons to include current topics are used as tools to encourage expression of student opinions, personal relevance and shared control in Islamic education-based teacher learning. This  research is a qualitative research that is a study of the learning environment in  early childhood Islamic educational institutions,  which examines the psycho-social perceptions of students and parents related to their experiences in  these institutions in order to develop a constructive learning environment.
