Abstract

This study discusses a web-based waste management transportation information system that adopts effective waste management concepts and strategies with the principle of reduce, reuse, recycle (3R) as a priority in waste management. The purpose of this research is to enhance public participation in waste management by providing relevant information, services, and resources through a website. The main features of this system include the management of community data, waste data, personnel data, and transaction data. Black box testing was conducted to ensure that the system's functionality complies with the specified requirements. The results of the testing demonstrate that the system operates effectively and is ready for comprehensive utilization. By adopting information technology in waste management, this system has the potential to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and environmental awareness, thus contributing to addressing waste management challenges sustainably.

Abstract

Background/Context: The integration of digital learning in secondary education requires instructional models that accommodate students’ diverse learning needs while enhancing essential competencies such as digital literacy and learning motivation. In Informatics subjects, conventional teaching approaches often limit students’ active engagement and effective use of digital resources. Objective/Purpose: This study aims to examine the implementation of a digital-based differentiated learning model and to analyze its effectiveness in improving digital literacy and learning motivation among Grade X TJKT students in Informatics at SMKN 3 Enrekang. Method: The study employed Classroom Action Research conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were Grade X TJKT students at SMKN 3 Enrekang. Data were collected through observations, questionnaires, tests, and documentation. Results: The findings indicate that the implementation of the digital-based differentiated learning model improved across cycles. Although several limitations were identified in Cycle I, targeted improvements in Cycle II resulted in optimal learning implementation. Students’ digital literacy and learning motivation showed significant improvement from the first to the second cycle, progressing from the adequate category to the excellent category. In addition, students’ learning outcomes demonstrated an increase in classical completeness from Cycle I to Cycle II. Conclusion: The study concludes that the digital-based differentiated learning model is effective in improving digital literacy, learning motivation, and learning outcomes of Grade X TJKT students in Informatics. This model contributes to more inclusive and engaging digital learning practices in vocational secondary education.

Abstract

The era of growing information technology has led to increasing threats to the security and privacy of computer and mobile device users, such as data theft and unauthorized use. In addition, the use of the internet by children and adolescents also requires special supervision. Therefore this research contributes to the use of the smart keylogger application as an effective solution for monitoring smartphone user activity and protecting user data security and privacy, especially in use by children and adolescents. The research method used is experimental research, in which a smart keylogger application is installed on a user's smartphone to monitor user activity over a certain period. The results of the study show that the smart keylogger application runs well in the background of the device, recording every keystroke the user makes, including internet browsing history and other activities. Overall, this spyware-based smart keylogger application is an effective solution for monitoring smartphone user activity, protecting data security and privacy, and providing more effective monitoring of internet use by children and adolescents.
