Abstract

Dalam mendukung pembangunan yang dinamis dan berkembang, mahasiswa dan lulusan Teknik Sipil perlu memiliki beragam kompetensi di bidang bangunan konstruksi. Salah satu kompetensi yang dibutuhkan adalah kemampuan menyusun Rencana Anggaran Biaya (RAB) yang berkaitan erat dengan kemampuan untuk mengimplementasikan konsep matematika. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui tingkat implementasi konsep dan kemampuan matematika pada proses penyusunan RAB bangunan konstruksi. Konsep matematika yang diteliti adalah aljabar, geometri, kalkulus, statistika, dan trigonometri. Kemampuan matematika yang diteliti adalah kemampuan penalaran, interpretasi, analisis, dan evaluasi terhadap informasi yang dimiliki untuk memecahkan masalah. Responden penelitian adalah mahasiswa tingkat akhir dan alumni Teknik Sipil Politeknik Negeri Jakarta (PNJ) yang sudah mendapatkan mata kuliah yang berkaitan dengan penyusunan RAB bangunan konstruksi dan diterapkan pada saat magang maupun bekerja. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan mengimplementasikan metode Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa konsep aljabar (mean: 4,196 dan 3,868), konsep geometri (mean: 4,170 dan 3,414), kemampuan penalaran (mean: 4,053 dan 3,461), dan kemampuan interpretasi (mean: 3,972 dan 3,548) tergolong pada kategori penting dan harus dikuasai. Tidak ada konsep dan kemampuan matematika yang masuk ke kategori tidak penting maupun tidak dikuasai berdasarkan persepsi responden. Dengan demikian, peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa konsep dan kemampuan matematika sudah terimplementasi dengan baik namun perlu untuk ditingkatkan agar kemampuan penyusunan RAB bangunan konstruksi juga semakin meningkat

Abstract

This study aims to ascertain whether there is an interaction between self-regulating rules and student learning outcomes in applied mathematics courses. This study uses the product-moment correlation method from Karl Pearson. The research sample of 57 students was determined by convenience sampling. The data were obtained from questionnaires and midterm math scores. Data analysis methods use descriptive percentages, basic tests for linear regression, and SPSS version 16.0 for hypothesis testing. The findings of this research indicate that self-regulation has a solid and beneficial impact, correlated with the results of student learning in applied mathematics courses. The result of the calculation is the coefficient r xy = 0.721 > 0.005, with a determinant of 51.98%. The greater the degree of self-regulation, the more significant the learning outcomes obtained by students in applied mathematics courses.

Abstract

Walls are non-structural components that function as a barrier between two spaces. Applying walls usually takes a long time and is expensive. However, one of the results of the development of precast concrete technology is panel walls. Currently, there is little innovation in the manufacture of precast wall panel moldings. Wall panel molding motifs are also not widely used. However, problem packages must be made into topics or learning models that involve student participation to support students' problem-based learning (PBL) practices in the Civil Engineering Study Program. This research aims to create a precast wall panel molding tool that meets strength standards and meets market requirements. The stages of this research include the preparation of research materials and collection of reference lists, design of precast wall panel molding tools, strength analysis of precast wall panel molding tools, and manufacture of precast wall panel molding tools. Abstract

Background: Students’ academic performance is a crucial indicator of their mastery of core competencies obtained throughout the learning process in higher education. These competencies become an essential benchmark, not only for academic evaluation, but also for the industry that expects graduates to meet professional standards. Therefore, an objective and data-driven evaluation method is needed to identify students’ academic performance and support academic decision-making. Methods: This study employs the Fuzzy C-Means (FCM) clustering method as an educational data mining technique to classify civil engineering students based on their academic results. Three key competency areas are used in this study, i.e., Structure and Material (SM), Geometry and Transportation (GT), and Construction Management (CM). A total of 221 students were analysed, exceeding the minimum sample size. The clustering process was performed using multiple cluster models (three, four, and five clusters), and the silhouette coefficient was used to evaluate the quality and accuracy of the clusters. Results: The findings reveal that the three-cluster model provides the most representative structure, showing the highest silhouette coefficient value compared with others. This indicates that three clusters offer the most appropriate grouping for evaluating academic performance. Cluster 1 represents students with excellent academic achievement, cluster 2 consists of students with good performance, and cluster 3 represents students with concerning academic performance requiring additional academic support. Conclusion: Overall, the study concludes that the three-cluster model, consisting of an excellent, good, and concerning performance group, offers the most accurate and representative evaluation of civil engineering students’ academic performance. These results provide valuable insights to design targeted interventions, enhance learning support, and optimize curriculum alignment to ensure that students achieve the competencies required before entering the professional field.

Abstract

The creating process, how it works and the performance of the detection system using Artificial Intelligence. The development of this innovation contributes to the Heavy Equipment Workshop of the Jakarta State Polytechnic to detect the early potential for work accidents. The methods are device tuning, inputs, training models, performance, trials and outputs. The creating process and how the detection system works using Artificial Intelligence each has 3 steps and accuracy using 3 cameras, namely the internal webcam (1MP), the JETE external webcam (720P) and the Samsung Galaxy A22 mobile phone camera (13MP). The process of making this innovation has 3 steps, namely data input, export, file grouping. There are 3 steps to work, namely open the file, run and output. The result of the accuracy of the internal webcam is very low, the JETE external webcam is better than the internal webcam and the mobile phone camera is better than the JETE external webcam.
