Abstract

AbstractThe low ability of Self-Regulated Learning students who mostly come from the remote area in Papua, motivates researchers to conduct research by applying Hypnoteaching in the learning process. One of the reasons for the low ability of Self-Regulated Learning students is the habit of those who have not been able to regulate and direct themselves in learning. Hypnoteaching, also called giving positive suggestions, is expected to be able to direct their minds to change learning behavior to be organized and directed. In other words, this will affect the ability of student Self-Regulated Learning. The purpose of this study was to find out: 1) how to increase the ability of Papuan Self-Regulated Learning after Hypnoteaching was applied in Mathematics Courses, 2) how students respond to the application of Hypnoteaching in Mathematics Courses. This type of research is Classroom Action Research with the subject of research are Papuan students in the Mathematics Learning Design Course at STKIP Surya Tangerang 2017/2018 Academic Year. Data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires, field notes, and observation sheets. The data analyzed is only questionnaire data by processing questionnaire scores that are converted into interval data, then determined attitude scores and neutral scores. The results showed that the application of hypnoteaching can improve the ability of self-regulated learning for Papuan students to be better. This can be seen from the percentage of attitude scores related to the ability of self-regulated learning which experienced an increase of initially by 61% in the pre-cycle, increasing to 72% in the first cycle and 74% in the second cycle. Regarding student responses, it was concluded that students gave a positive response to the application of hypnoteaching.Key words: Self-Regulated Learning, Hypnoteaching, Classroom Action ResearchAbstrakRendahnya kemampuan Self-Regulated Learning mahasiswa yang mayoritas berasal dari daerah Pedalaman Papua, melatarbelakangi peneliti untuk melakukan penelitian dengan menerapkan Hypnoteaching dalam proses pembelajaran. Salah satu penyebab rendahnya rendahnya kemampuan Self-Regulated Learning mahasiswa adalah kebiasaan mereka yang belum bisa mengatur dan mengarahkan diri sendiri dalam belajar. Hypnoteaching yang disebut juga pemberian sugesti positif diharapkan mampu mengarahkan pikiran mereka untuk merubah perilaku belajar menjadi teratur dan terarah. Dengan kata lain hal tersebut, akan berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan Self-Regulated Learning mahasiswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: 1) bagaimanakah peningkatan kemampuan Self-Regulated Learning Mahasiswa Papua setelah diterapkan Hypnoteaching dalam Mata Kuliah Desain Pembelajaran Matematika, 2) bagaimanakah respon mahasiswa terhadap penerapan Hypnoteaching dalam Mata Kuliah Desain Pembelajaran Matematika. Jenis penelitian merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa Papua pada Mata Kuliah Desain Pembelajaran Matematika di STKIP Surya Tangerang Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa angket, catatan lapangan, dan lembar observasi. Data yang dianalis hanya data angket dengan cara mengolah skor angket yang dikonversi menjadi data interval, kemudian ditentukan skor sikap dan skor netralnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan hypnoteaching dapat meningkatkan kemampuan self-regulated learning mahasiswa Papua menjadi lebih baik. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari persentase skor sikap terkait kemampuan self-regulated learning yang mengalami peningkatan dari awalnya sebesar 61% pada pra siklus, meningkat menjadi 72% pada siklus I dan 74 % pada siklus II. Terkait respon mahasiswa diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa mahasiswa memberikan respon positif terhadap penerapan hypnoteaching yang dilakukan.Kata kunci: Self-Regulated Learning, Hypnoteaching, Penelitian Tindakan Kelas

Abstract

Studi ini dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui bagaimana persepsi dosen terhadap penggunaan teknologi digital, yang biasa disebut information & communication technology (ICT), pada pembelajaran bahasa Inggris yang digunakan oleh dosen kepada mahasiswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan data kuantitatif. Dalam proses pengumpulan data, penulis menggunakan dua perangkat penelitian berupa kuesioner, dan wawancara terhadap dosen bahasa Inggris di PNJ. Pengkajian ini dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan informasi terkait persepsi dosen terhadap penggunaan ICT, dan juga mengidentifikasi kendala dalam penggunaan ICT pada pembelajaran bahasa Inggris. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 100% responden setuju bahwa pengajaran bahasa Inggris sangat cocok dipadukan dengan ICT, juga setuju bahwa penggunaan ICT juga dapat membuat pembelajaran menjadi sangat menyenangkan. Sedangkan, terkait kegunaan ICT bagi Mahasiswa, 18% responden tidak setuju dengan manfaat pengajaran ICT yang akan mempermudah mahasiswa dalam mendapatkan pekerjaan (yang layak) dimasa yang akan datang. Selain itu juga, 15 hingga 25% responden juga tidak setuju bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan ICT dapat membantu mahasiswa memahami materi secara mendalam, kemudian meningkatkan nilai bahasa Inggris, dan membantu mahasiswa dalam berkomunikasi. Namun, terdapat beberapa kendala ditemukan secara intrinsik dan ekstrinsik. Kendala yang dialami dosen paling besar merupakan kompetensi dosen dalam menggunakan ICT sekaligus juga pengalaman-pengalaman buruk yang pernah dialami dosen dalam penggunaan ICT dalam kelas. Pada kendala ekstrinsik, masalah yang dihadapi dosen adalah kurangnya pelatihan ICT dan masalah koneksi internet. Kendala-kendala ini membuat para dosen menjadi berpikir dua kali dalam mengoptimalkan penggunaan ICT dalam kelas. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi bahan evaluasi bagi dosen bahasa Inggris selaku pelaksana di lapangan dan bagi institusi sebagai pembuat kebijakan.

Abstract

To avoid citizen disputes, hate speech on social media, such as Twitter, must be automatically detected. The current research in Indonesian Twitter focuses on developing better hate speech detection models. However, there is limited study on the explainability aspects of hate speech detection. The research aims to explain issues that previous researchers have not detailed and attempt to answer the shortcomings of previous researchers. There are 13,169 tweets in the dataset with labels like “hate speech” and “abusive language”. The dataset also provides binary labels on whether hate speech is directed to individual, group, religion, race, physical disability, and gender. In the research, classification is performed by using traditional machine learning models, and the predictions are evaluated using an Explainable AI model, such as Local Interpretable Model-Agnostic Explanations (LIME), to allow users to comprehend why a tweet is regarded as a hateful message. Moreover, models that perform well in classification perceive incorrect words as contributing to hate speech. As a result, such models are unsuitable for deployment in the real world. In the investigation, the combination of XGBoost and logical LIME explanations produces the most logical results. The use of the Explainable AI model highlights the importance of choosing the ideal model while maintaining users’ trust in the deployed model.

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini dipaparkan tentang konversi yang dilakukan dengan mengubah kendaraan konvensional berbahan bakar bensin dengan listrik. Penggantian dilakukan dengan melepas Engine penggerak dan menggantikannya dengan motor penggerak yang secara otomatis ditambahkan dengan Baterai sebagai sumber energi. Selanjutnya dari hasil konversi tersebut dilakukan pengujian torsi dan rpm melalui Dynotest yaitu suatu metode pengujian performa mesin kendaraan (motor listrik) dengan cara melihat tenaga (power) dan torsi (torque). Torsi adalah kemampuan mesin untuk menggerakkan atau memindahkan kendaraan listrik dari kondisi diam hingga berjalan dan ketika berjalanpun ada variasi antara kecepatan dengan perubahan gigi yang dilakukan . Selain itu juga dengan Dynotest akan diketahui titik tertinggi nilai Torsi pada setiap gigi. Pada pengujian yang dilakukan didapatkan nilai perubahan gigi yang didapat dari gigi-1 kecepatan maks 20 km/jam, gigi-2 kecepatan maks 40 km/jam, gigi-3 kecepatan maks 60 km/jam dan gigi-4 kecepatan maks 80 km/jam. Pada kendaraan listrik ini pengukuran pada Ampere dan voltase dilakukan guna mengamati performa motor dan baterai sebagai komponen utama dan didapatkan nilai lonjakan pada setiap pergantian gigi.Lonjakan tersebut terjadi akibat dari kombinasi pijakan gas ,rem dan kopling yang bergantian guna mendapatkan nilai akselesari yang nyaman.

Abstract

This study aims to ascertain whether there is an interaction between self-regulating rules and student learning outcomes in applied mathematics courses. This study uses the product-moment correlation method from Karl Pearson. The research sample of 57 students was determined by convenience sampling. The data were obtained from questionnaires and midterm math scores. Data analysis methods use descriptive percentages, basic tests for linear regression, and SPSS version 16.0 for hypothesis testing. The findings of this research indicate that self-regulation has a solid and beneficial impact, correlated with the results of student learning in applied mathematics courses. The result of the calculation is the coefficient r xy = 0.721 > 0.005, with a determinant of 51.98%. The greater the degree of self-regulation, the more significant the learning outcomes obtained by students in applied mathematics courses.

Abstract

Heavy Equipment Study Program, Jakarta State Polytechnic, has a warehouse that aims to store spare parts. These spare parts are used to meet the practical needs of students when lectures take place every semester. During this time, to lend and report spare parts, heavy equipment warehouse technicians still use forms and spare parts cards. This method is less effective when the stakeholders such as the Head of Workshop and Head of Study Program want to know the amount of spare parts stock that is still owned by the warehouse or data warehouse cannot be seen in real time. From these problems, the warehouse needs a way to speed up the process. One method that can be used to overcome this problem is to create a web-based system or application that can carry out an inventory, record, process, and report the spare parts data contained in the heavy equipment warehouse. This writing aims to design and build warehouse management applications for heavy equipment spare parts. So, with this web-based application, stake holders can view reports from the warehouse with the right target, accurate, and efficient.

Abstract

Most of the heavy equipment units use a hydraulic system, even including systems that are essential for working with a heavy equipment unit. The hydraulic system is a system that utilizes a liquid medium in the form of fluid or oil to generate pressure, which is used to implement, the power train system, the disconnection system, the steering system. The working principle of hydraulics is to utilize the pressure exerted on the tool (which is used for this actuator / cylinder / tube) so that the pressure pushes the piston which is connected to the rod. The hydraulic system in this study is an arm excavator. This simulator is like a hydraulic system in general which consists of a power unit, in this simulator the power unit used is a type of electric motor that is connected to a hydraulic pump. The control unit is in the form of a control valve. The drive unit is an actuator / cylinder / tube. This simulator has been disabled for a long time due to a malfunction. Then the authors performed a simple analysis and improvements to the excavator arm simulator. So the research that is done is to do the 8 step troubleshooting method on the simulator. This step aims to facilitate the repair process in the simulator.

Abstract

Troubleshooting on the temperature gauge on the engine control panel 3066 with the serial number is 7JKa method used to find the cause of the problem with the temperature gauge. The temperature gaugecontained in the 3066 control panel engine does not work while running. Therefore, this research aims todetermine the cause of the temperature gauge on the 3066 control panel engine not functioning. The formof this research is to take data on the method of problem solving and repair of temperature gauges that areexperiencing problems by buying new components that do not use transformer step-ups. Instrumentationdata in literature research, data, visual inspection and making changes to temperature gauges. The resultsof conducting literature studies, studying data, visual inspection, and replacing the temperature gauge witha new one on the 3066 control panel engine, get the root of the problem of damage to the coil of the stepup transformer because the input voltage is too large.
